Above are images of the Youth Boot Camp last May 15-19. The 5-day event was attended by 200 students from our campus outreaches and young professional in our city. I greatly thank God that it ended victoriously amidst some trials and hindrances ( see my other blog “ A Bucket of Wisdom” for the images of the road accident).

As a result of the camp, many young people are now involving in the ministry. Most of them enlisted in the Praise and Worship Team either as singers and instruments players. I saw an Alesis electronic drums for sale online . I wish to have them but I can’t still afford a brand new model right now.

At an early age, my kids already knows the basic of waste management. At home, we are segregating our household waste into bio-degradable and non bio-degradable. Before we were relocated due to the flash flood that hit our city last December 2011, we decided to create compost bin for a little garden . Now that we have transferred in a residence in front of a forested park, we are planning to push through with our little project. We found a compost barrel from CompostBins.com and decided to make our own compost barrel. The kids are equally excited with this endeavor.How about you? The internet literally revolutionized our lives… it changed the way we do everything. From socializing, playing, shopping to business. With this technology we longer see little kids playing in the yard or running around in the neighbourhood since they are too busy playing games on their favourite website. No longer do we go to a friend’s house to talk and update with each other’s lives. Instead jump to our favourite networking sites to see what's the latest news. The weirdest and the unthinkable things are in the internet. From cigar auctions online to human organs auctions online. The internet has lots of advantage and disadvantages. It’s a blessing and the same time a curse. It depends on someone’s usage.

God is great in the lives of our Children. As of this writing they are attending the 5-day Youth Holistic Boot Camp not as delegates but as member of the core group and instrumentalist of the Praise and Worship Team. I thank God for using them in their youth.

Dale was so excited to pack her things for her first-ever youth boot camp. She can not hold her excitement that she was able to fill her luggage with lots of stuff. From clothes,toiletries,foods and beddings. For the last 8 years of her christian life she has been with the Lambs of God ( children ministry of our Blessed Hope Christian Ministries) , now she's finally a member of the YOUTH CLUB! Unexpectedly my son, got a SILVER MEDAL during the graduation of the SCHOOL OF DISCIPLES ( 9th batch) . All of us were surprised as the School Dean announced his name. Isaiah John is one of the youngest among the 40 students. Some of his classmates are already in college and some are already working ( teachers and engineers). Thank God for his dedication while under training for 6 months. He was able to bear the 3-day fasting, the on-the-job evangelism and all other activities required by the school.

Mother’s day is just three-weeks away .I can not help but be excited what will transpire this day. The youth of our church are now busy preparing for the program and presentation . My son told me that they have a surprise number for all the mothers and that I must not report from the church admin office the day before mother’s day as not to spoil the element of suspense. Anyway, for my own mom I am planning to surprise her with a dinner and a giving heart jewelry in a form of a mother and child heart ring. It’s a simple yet meaningful ring. It’s a simple of my unending love and devotion.

I love taking pictures with my Canon 550D. It makes me feel like a real photographer. My 18 mega pixels camera brings good result with its higher picture resolution. However, I just want to customize my picture that is why I really want to learn photoshop. Selected few of the youth in our church are quite knowledgeable with this kind of application and perhaps this summer I will engage myself in Photoshop tutorial. I am also planning to buy ITIL Books and photoshop tutorial books. Once I learned the basic, I’m going to be the Family’s Best Photographer .

My hubby’s friend who’s been working in an Automobile shop is fond of telling me stories about his experiences while working abroad. After many years of being away from his family, he decided to work here and even started an auto shop on his own.
