The owner and creator, all rounder, landscape specialist, a dedicated builder and very good at Redstone circuits, He redesigned and improved the Quiz for our Minecraft server which was originally made by Waelz. Being the owner he single handedly maintains the server so much that we hardly ever have any downtime. It is due to his efforts the server has survived this long. He demoted himself from admin to a mod but that hasn’t stopped him from being major part of the server. RobinR actually gave away his Minecraft gift codes to The Game and Alien so they too can enjoy Minecraft.

His specialty is to build villages and towns. He is currently the best builder on our Minecraft server. He is a dedicated builder also an admin. If he sets his mind to building something he wouldn't stop until he finishes it. He is also good with Redstone. He built/updated most of the stations and laid many thousand miles of tracks. He built a slot machine for gamblers and a vending machine. He builds everything to the smallest detail. His bad health may have slowed him a little but he is now better than ever and back in good health.

Just when you thought Minecraft couldn't get any bigger, The Simpsons has gone and made a new intro sequence SIMCRAFT (parodies are easy!) in the style of the smash hit game.

The special title sequence was broadcast last night in North America for the episode titled "Luca$", featuring Zach Galifianakis.

Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie are seen in block form, as is the entire Simpsons world. Bartender Moe also makes an appearance as a Creeper.

Minecraft 1.7.6 pre-release 1 brings the most requested feature since birth of Minecraft, Name changes!

Unique ID system for identifying players instead of player names.
No matter what a player is called they will remain banned/whitelisted/oped/etc on servers.
Changing names won't effect their inventory, pets, statistics and everything they own on a server.
No backward compatibility as usual.
Two players can't have the same name. (not possible to steal someone's name)
As of now there is no option to change name.
No details or restrictions are set so far on how name changes will be performed.
It will be easy and freely available.
Won't be able to change name every 5 minutes.
Server owners do not need to anything the server will update itself, however it may require your input if it finds an issue (example: non existant players).
If you are scared and need a hug due to changes, Mojang gives a *hug* and comforts you.

This pre-release also comes with a lot more Minecraft Realms improvements, crash fixes, optimizations and general bug fixes.

If you are interested in getting started in Minecraft, buy it and start chopping and digging. Get answers to your questions by asking your kids, and referring to YouTube and Minecraft wikis. If that's still not enough, here are a few recommended Minecraft books:

The Ultimate Player's Guide to Minecraft, by Stephen O'Brien. This thorough guide to surviving and thriving in the world of Minecraft was written by a guy who loves Minecraft and has explored it deeply. (The author is also the inventor of the Mypressi espresso machine.)

The Minecraft Guide for Parents, by Cori Dusmann. This is especially good for parents of younger kids who need help buying and installing Minecraft. It also has good tips on how to play Minecraft with your kids.

Minecraft: The Unlikely Tale of Markus "Notch" Persson and the Game that Changed Everything, by by Daniel Goldberg and Linus Larsson. A compelling short biography of the creator of Minecraft. It's intended audience is probably adults, but most 10-year-olds would have no problem reading it.

Enchanted Book Chest Shop

If you wish to find out the enchantment code for any tool, weapon, armor, potion or book do /iteminfo while holding the item.

The syntax remains the same to sell and purchase any enchanted item, just add #enchantment ID at the end.

Hey Guys,

These days i've been bored, im sure you all have been really. Thinking that I just want to go back onto minecraft and play again, the singleplayer just isn't the same as the multiplayer and I would love to see the server come back online so I can set my mind on a goal to keep me busy. The server does need improving and atleast getting rid of the shops because it pretty much defeats the object of survival and it is nice just to be simple. So if anyone has actually read this go ahead and moan at Robin if you have a way to chat with him and tell him to get the server back up! :)

I miss Our Minecraft Server, now that it is closed I miss it more than ever, it was our playground and a way for us to stick together, I am with Chiink on this one to bring back the server, there is always room to make the server better and I would like everyone's suggestions how we can improve it. Please do comment on this post and let your voice be heard.

Although I might not play as much as before and probably shouldn't but I will surely be coming on once in a while.

Mojang's lead developer on Minecraft, Jens Bergenstern has made no secret that they plan to add horses to the game in its upcoming 1.6 update.

The developer today said that in addition to horses, players will be able to tie their steeds to fence posts so they don't wander off. Players will also be able to equip them with horse armor so they'll be able to take a beating from zombies and the like.

A Mojang developer Marc_IRL joked that "Mojang announces horse armor, is sued AGAIN by Bethesda." The joke comes from the fact that one of the first ever DLC released was a piece of downloadable horse armor for Oblivion, which sold for a dollar and made the company the butt of jokes. Those who made fun of the company were incredulous to the fact that it actually sold well, prompting many other studios to follow in lockstep to Bethesda's DLC experiment.

In addition to the horse armor announcement, another developer, Nathan "Dinnerbone" Adams, says that the team is considering the implementation of regional difficulty. "The longer you spend in one area, the harder it gets".

There's a good chance that we'll be seeing the feature in a future snapshot of the game.

After long and careful thinking we the administrators of Our Minecraft Server have come to the decision to close the server down, a few reasons in making this decision are low activity, lack of interest, and being busy with other things.

This doesn't mean Our Minecraft Server is gone forever, nothing is lost, we will keep the world map with most of the needed files, If we feel like starting the server up again we can just bring it up any day.

This blog/website will be here and it will continue providing Minecraft news, tutorials and related stuff, we will keep on working on all the other projects most importantly Pixel Craft and Enchantment Code/ID Generator and we will keep on updating them as much as we can.

It’s finally coming – Minecraft 2.0!

Hopefully releasing within the next two months, this 2-years-in-development game will be bringing blocky simulation games to the next level. Whilst based off the original Minecraft engine, this new version completely overhauls major parts of the game and contains many weeks worth of new content and blocks. Currently in closed beta stage, we have secretly been working with a select few members of the community to participate and trial run some specific features from the new version.

Some of the more prominent features of Minecraft 2.0 include a new Super Hostile mode which can suddenly populate the world with terrifying monsters, Diamond Chickens that lay diamond eggs, and horses that look rather like cows. Also, animals explode into meat if you feed them. There are seriously dozens of other epic changes designed to make hardcore Minecrafters laugh.

No, it's really not, but in the ridiculous pranking tradition of April Fools Day, Mojang has curated a batch of fan-created trailers for a fictional Minecraft sequel. The videos feature update suggestions from Mojang, including death by chickens, exploding farm animals, floating sheep, horses, a "Hostile" game mode, six new decoration blocks (including Slime) and many more changes, listed here.

Mojang teases that Minecraft 2.0's announcement comes in celebration of the PC series nearing 10 million sales. And no, that one isn't a joke.
