I had to give them brush-off for a while. There were two reasons for it:

It’s a project stage for our product at the moment. If you didn’t read Tom Demarco I’ll explain. If a product concept is designed by too many people, they will spend too much time for coordination. They also won’t create a clear model if their views differ too much. We are five for now, and we cover all required project parts. Time will tell.

Recruiting (and volunteers’ recruiting moreover) is a very responsible deal. We will not employ anyone until we can guarantee the job he/she wants to do and the job we need. Even if he/she agrees to work for free.

I think our inner responsibility for employees should increase when we would be able to pay normal salaries.

Please understand us and hold on for a while.

Send us your demands and we will contact you when the time comes :)

Apologize for a long silence

Beginning of winter and attempts to fall into brumal sleep had been encumbering our work, but we’ve coped with ourselves :)

I keep with our notes.

Goal

Everyone has goals of his own.

S: “I want to create a project which will provide me financial support and new directions of growth. I also want to work with pleasant people”.

Y: “Entropy growth has annoyed me. I want a little: interesting profitable business (and world peace). I also don’t want to loose people I work with”.

I: “I want to work on new ideas and make money”.

M: “My previous team consisted just of me. I hope our team will be more efficient. I don’t want to do a trivial job, but I want to create something extraordinary and interesting”.

F: “I hope to get a good experience of project production and to explore new technologies and tools. I also want much money”.

In general I can summarize it to equity, achievements, comradeship.

We have generated a summary goal to succeed our own goals—creation of an extraordinary software product. I will tell about it soon.

Above all

What is the most important thing about any company?

One may list many variants. Every company prioritizes in its own way. Long time ago I have understood my own top priority—people.

If a company has low priority for employees, it will fail.

No team – no play.

Money for startup

One of startup issues is money. We have got two points:

find outer investments

or try to deal with our own capital (unfortunately poor).

The first point can let start with normal office, salary, etc. The second one will provide free rain—we will decide everything. We have chosen the second point considering our objection to bad management.

It is not so hard to get investments. But it’s much more complicated to get off investors :)

Lets start

Our management is stupid sometimes. It annoyed so much, and once you awake: “I will break my contract like now or become one more duffer of this firm”.

It’s simple to change a job in IT. But when you understand that there are no companies you want to work for, there is a last choice: to make one of your own.

So, we have started. Say good luck to us :)
