I have owned most of the lights out there for my money you can't beat this one it's just the right size i work as a operating engineer and sometimes we go where no one has gone before' I own 2 streamlights stingers, 1 led stinger 1 led pen 2 head lamps
also have owned 1 surefire that i just threw away last week battery's and bulb where what i spent for this light
i am very happy with this winner the C-4 LED Lamp is very bright lights up the dark and stays that way for a long time..
the guys i work with also liked it so much the bought it when they seen what it can do i have shown them side by side light comparison with a stinger led c-4 and a strion led c-4 and there was no diffrence to me and the other 3 engineers so now they all have the Strion light with them also a good selling point it is you read the warrenty it states that if you manage to breake the light they will fix it no questions asked and they mean it i droped my led stinger off a 30 foot platform it hit the ground the first word out of my boss was well "there goes a $100.00 duckeys" well the light did still work for about a week after then it stoped i called Streamlight told them what happen all they told me was just send it to us a week later had it back and they repaired as they said that is why i am and alway will be a loyal Streamlight customer

This is a very good pack for the money. It appears quite sturdy and I had no issues with durability on its one trip out so far (about 8 hour hike with 25 lb). It's quite adjustable, but I had some problems with the angle at which the straps meet my shoulders, and that wasn't adjustable. All the external pouches could be a bit bigger, and only the lightest of summer-weight sleeping bags is going to fit in the "Sleeping Bag Compartment." If you want a pack that fits you like a glove that you can leave to your children... keep looking. This backpack was a great buy! I've had it for about 2 months and haven't had any problems out of it. My dog does not particularly like putting it on, but once it's on her, she seems to do ok with it. I have an 8 month old, 70lb Doberman and it fits her perfectly, I had to cut and burn the belly strap like other reviewers recommended as it was too long. I do wish you could pick your color, I got a black one. It hasn't helped so much with her pulling, but I have seen a major difference in her attention and energy levels. We only have to walk half as much as before, which is nice when you have a very active puppy!! We only use it for walks and an occasional hike, so it's holding up pretty good. It only took a few minutes to get it adjusted the first time and I haven't had to mess with it yet. She's still growing though, so I'm sure the adjustments are coming. If you've used the previous versions/year's updates (V8 and NT) then you'll know how to use this on your GPS - It's easy to install and works great on the Oregon. The Automotive (Zoom) Mode is especially nice as it emulates the screens of Garmins like the Nuvi. With the Oregon, you can switch between profiles (ie. Automotive and Geocaching) to get you close to a Cache and then off-road to the destination.

The only drawback that I see, is that it is based on a 2Gb card when the unit will reportedly handle without issue a 4Gb card. So, you do get a little limited for photo storage or if you're on a long trip/hike and take a LOT of photos (with the Oregon 550T) you might be better served by switching out the Map card for a larger MicroSD.

I got this pack for backpacking trips with my Boy Scout troop. I'm just on the south side of 50 and need to start lightening the load to keep up, so I went for a smaller (than I've used in the past) pack that would force me to keep my gear to only what I really need. Took it on the first trip with the boys a couple of weekends ago and was very pleased. I got my pack weight (w/o food and water down to under 25 pounds with tarp and only a little more with tent. This is definitely a pack for going lighter - it wouldn't do well with more than 30 lbs. (but then again, neither do I anymore).

Lots of pockets, attachment points, well-constructed, and a great price, especially on sale. I looked at many other much more expensive packs by some big-name makers and would still have chosen the Redwing 3100 even if it cost as much as those others. It really was exactly what I was looking for for two night weekend trips - its size is just enough if you really do commit to minimalist/lightweight. (I still have four other packs for longer trips or for when my wife goes with me and I need to carry a bigger load.) I have not used it for travel yet, but I have a trip to Colorado for the USAFA graduation (my nephew) next month and might give it a try for my carry-on rather than my rolling duffle.

My Kodak C182 is a thick-bodied point & shoot, and I needed a case that fit it closely, had room for spare batteries, and had a good belt clip. This case is perfect. The stiffener in the belt clip makes it easy to slide it behind my belt. It has a Velcro attachment plus a metal snap for added security. The zippers open easily to get to the camera.

As some others have noted, the length could be a little longer, but our kids will use them more than I will so they work well for them. As somewhat of a knife collector I can appreciate a great knife. I spend most of my money on fixed blade knives because I have found that the joints on folding knives tend to wear out very quickly. I found this to be especially true of assisted open folders. However this knife broke the mold. The knife is light yet durable and the mechanisms seem to be manufactured perfectly.
