Gigabyte has just released a new series of motherboards based on AMD's latest AM5 socket chipsets. This article will focus on one of the highest models: the X870E AORUS PRO ICE. The motherboard uses the flagship X870E chipset, which replaces the very successful X670E.
The X870E AORUS PRO ICE supports the latest components, such as DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0, USB4, and WiFi 7. The list of interesting features is much longer, but to find out what else the X870E AORUS PRO ICE offers, you have to read our review.

Team Group was among the first brands to present the NVMe PCIe 5.0 SSDs. However, we had to wait some months to see them in stores. Today, we focus on the T-Force Z540, now available with new firmware and improvements that promise exceptional performance.
As with all T-Force products, the Z540 is also designed for the most demanding gamers and power users. Since the SSD is sold without a cooler, it's recommended to use a motherboard cooler or some other type, like the one provided by Team Group—DARK AirFlow I. Our tests will include this cooler as a recommended option to keep optimal temperatures and performance of our new Z540 NVMe PCIe 5.0 SSD.

G.Skill is back with the Royal series RAM that in the last generations made the most noise amongst gamers and enthusiasts due to its unique and elite design. G.Skill made us wait for its top series for a long time as DDR5 is already available for nearly three chipset generations. DDR5 modules get improved Royal heatsinks with fantastic RGB illumination, but for most users, the most important is underneath them. As you expect, the Royal series is built on premium ICs, but I won't tell you everything in the introduction, and you have to read our review to find out more.

Late in the Z790 life cycle, we're still seeing new boards come out for the platform. Case in point, Colorful announced their CVN Z790D5 Ark Frozen motherboard. The new SKU sports titanium gray on the heatsinks and PCB, a change from the black and white we're used to. Additionally, you get well-rounded specifications and robust power delivery to handle any 12th-14th generation processor, even when overclocking.

Outside of the obvious that it's a 4070 Super and slim compared to the 3-slot plus monsters we're used to seeing, the MLG version (where their Dragon, Lucky, turns into the Dragon Princess) sports red highlights, and it includes a magnetic backplate with a picture of their anime-style princess.
