Well folks, we’re a day away from the big Overtime screening tomorrow night. But that doesn’t mean the festivities have to wait. The Derby City Film Festival kicks off tonight, and to celebrate, local media has been going frantic with all things film.

Today, Overtime got great write-ups in the Velocity as well as the Courier Journal. Click on over to check them out.

This year’s Derby City Film Festival is shaping up to be one hell of a weekend. Not only will Overtime be screening Saturday February 18th (get your tickets here!), but Matt Niehoff, Sebrina Siegel, and Brian Cunningham will all be sharing their Overtime experiences in themed panel discussions.

At 1:00PM on Saturday, Sebrina will share the stage with Jay Dee Wallace, Sean Elliot and Lance Henriksen to talk about acting. Then Matt will take the stage at 3:00PM, along with directors of films such as It’s in the Blood and Blind Turn, to talk about his experiences directing. And at 5:30, Brian will partake in the Filmmakers’ Symposium.

After that, stick around for Lance Henriksen’s Lifetime Achievement Award and his film, It’s in the Blood. And at 10PM, Overtime takes center stage along with Kris Rommel’s short film Wireface!

See you at the movies!

Bloody-Disgusting! Dread Central! Overtime takes over the internets!

It seems when it rains it pours, but for Matt and I it seems to be pouring delicious candies and sugar-filled snacks! That’s right, Overtime has gotten even more press, this time on two if the ‘net’s most prestigious horror news sites.

It’s been a long time coming for another Louisville screening, but now that the Holidays are behind us we can’t think of a better way to kick off the new year than to announce our next showing of Overtime!

The movie will be showing on at 10pm February 18 at the Clifton Center. Tickets are on sale now for just $7, and admission includes a Louisville-made short film, the Kristofer Rommel directed “Wirefeace.”

Y-Box 720 Commercial Now Online!

One of the greatest elements of Overtime is Raph’s quest to get his son a Y-Box 720.

Lucky for us, then, that the makers of the Y-Box were nice enough to give us permission to use their product in the movie. More than that, they allowed us to shoot a commercial for their video game system.

Today, Y-Box launched its official site, and, wouldn’t you know it, they used our commercial on the home page of the website. Check it out!
