It's more complicated than that, an 8 minute response is only for certain calls.

Category A Calls – Those which are immediately life threatening – are allotted an 8min response, other calls are allotted a 19 min response time, or longer is they aren't actually urgent.

Oh yeah, I know. Stay tuned for the next post on why I can't work for the trusts anyway. The reason for FPOS was to have some training sooner rather than later, and because the course I'm doing it as part of is bundled with a load of other stuff which is useful like o2, epipens etc.

I'm in the process of applying for the CFR thing, but my trust don't use FPOS for that, so it doesn't clash, and I can't actually go further in the ambo service than that. I have come up with a clever alternative though!

unless you are between 16 and 19, if you are looking after your kid at that age you are considered NEET and the gub mint thinks you'd be far better off doing some a levels or working in a shop than looking after your child. (contrary to the recommendations of their own english one stop youth service, connexions.)

I've not heard of Atheist Camps, but the name actually makes me think a little of "sinking to their level" which I hope they're not.
