This offer appears to be instore only but my local JB HiFi currently has buy two blu ray movies, get one free. I’m not sure when the offer ends, there was no indication on any signage.

The offer applies to quite a large selection and includes some items that appear to be already quite reduced compared to other retailers. The movies range from $19.99 through to $39.99 and also some more expensive box sets.

I got Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and Shawshank Redemption for a total of $39.98.

$13.33 for a blu-ray, pretty good!

Walk in and pick up, limit 2 per customer, it’s on the catalogue but I can’t find it on the site yet :)

Not sure of the speed, but could be nice for:
- stocking fillers
- kris kringles
- a bit of extra back up
- upgrading parents’ or partner’s flash drive (or even own)

Found this at Dick Smith Preston (VIC) store. It is basically a Maxon BP3-USB modem. Normally, the clearance price is $129, but they are selling for $10 each. The box indicates it only supports 3.6 Mbps (not sure whether Maxon provides a firmware update to make it faster).

It is possible to unlock the modem (to use other network) for free. Check out the following link for more information:

If you are willing to go through the trouble unlocking the modem, $10 for a wireless modem is a good deal. Not many left in store.. and I don’t think other DSE stores would match it.

It’s happening again! Thursday 10th December is a staff day at Dick Smith and Tandy where there is 10% off storewide PLUS extra deals (details not yet available). I know it’s a little early, but I thought if there’s anybody buying (expensive) Christmas presents then they may prefer to wait till this day.

There are no exclusions, and Apple products ARE included in the sale. Last time Dick Smith had this event, there was a further 10% off Macbooks as well so it was very cheap. Those more specific details will be available sooner.

This posting is more for those who might want to delay their purchases. You do need to be an employee of Woolworths Limited with a valid staff discount card, but I guess a lot of people have family or friends who have one.

I picked up this flyer from the store and I don’t think you have to bring the flyers but I’ve uploaded it anyways.

Their apparel is quite average, to be honest but they’ve got a great selection of discounted lingerie and sleepwear - like Bonds, Kookai, Oroton, Berlei, Mitch Dowd, and Pleasure State. Sizes are usually good.
