Medical studies indicate that 75% of physical sickness is caused by emotional problems. And one of the greatest emotional problems people experience is guilt. Many people are punishing themselves with sickness. They are refusing to relax and enjoy life because, after all, they don’t deserve to have a good time. So they live in perpetual penance of regret and remorse. This kind of stress makes people sick.

There are two things that cause us to get all knotted up inside. The first is the negative things done to us by others. The second is the negative things we have done to ourselves and others. We have a hard time getting over what others have done to us, and we find it difficult to forget what we have done to ourselves and others.

Let me help you reconnect with the way your body was created to function…. Negativity… in whatever form, is poison to the body. Let’s get rid of it! Learn to enjoy life the way we were meant to!

This is what I do…. I help people on a daily basis… yes, with exercise… but I also help them to overcome their obstacles…. Whatever they may be…. Whether they are big or small… it does not matter. What people fail to realize sometimes is health and fitness is not just about exercise and eating right… it goes much deeper than that. Everything about you contributes to your health… either in a positive way or a negative way. Your thoughts…. Your attitude…. Your motives…. your breathing… and the list goes on. I help people change their negatives in to positives… and the things that I get to witness are just Awesome!

Are you possibly a person who just has no energy? Do you have trouble waking up in the morning? Do you find yourself needing that cup(s) of coffee to get yourself going in the morning? Do you have that mid afternoon, about 3:00, energy low? It could be as simple as getting more oxygen into your system. You may be breathing too shallow or even backwards. When you get more oxygen into your system, your body starts to function more like it was created to function. Therefore your body doesn’t have to work so hard to function normally. The end result is that you have more energy. The moral is: the less you feel like doing the deep breathing, the more you probably need it.

Give the gift of health for Christmas this year by giving your friends and loved ones a copy of my book and/or my breathing CD as well.

Many people worry about the amount of lead in lipstick. If you are one of the women who does not want to give up your favorite tube for something without the lead, you should be fine. According to a recent statement in the December 2009 Parents Magazine, “even if you ate a tube of lipstick every day, the amount of lead you’d ingest would still be below the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s recommended daily limit.” The choice is yours but be informed.

This expert tip is provided by Debra from Body Designs Is it weight bearing? Will I get an aerobic workout with OxyFlex!? While doing OxyFlex! involves zero impact, it incorporates weight bearing exercise: for example, when you do OxyFlex! while lifting a leg, standing etc… you are doing weight bearing exercises by working your muscles against the power of gravity.

OxyFlex! provides an aerobic workout without the possibility of injuries due to heavy impact. If an individual were to start running around a track, their body would soon sense a deprivation of oxygen as their muscles would be using up oxygen faster than the body is providing it, to compensate, the person would automatically start breathing faster. OxyFlex! burns calories and works the muscles like other aerobic exercises do, but without ever reaching a state of oxygen deprivation. There’s no gasping for air since OxyFlex! provides lots of oxygen from the very beginning of the workout. Contrary to what most people believe it isn’t the shaking, pounding or other movement that burns fat it’s the metabolic reaction that takes place when you work your muscles and provide lots of oxygen at the same time.

OxyFlex! makes sense…. You get all the benefits of “traditional” exercise with none of the wear and tear on your body.

With age, and as a testament to the current Age, we have largely lost the truth of our breath, and our bodies, minds and spirits suffer. Through stress, and sometimes injury, our bodies shift and tighten to the point that deep breathing is restricted. All that remains is the shallowest breath with the minimum oxygen intake to keep our bodies functioning at the minimal level.

To put it simply, every part of our bodies need oxygen to function properly. Every cell, every tissue, and every organ yearns for oxygen. It is the catalyst that metabolizes the nutrients used by our cells.

When we don’t get enough oxygen, our bodies and brains are sluggish. Nothing works as well as it should, and our spirits are dampened. We move and think slower so that our bodies can make the best use of the small oxygen reserves that it is receiving. If only we took in more oxygen, our bodies would be at liberty to function at their optimum efficiency.

Luckily, our bodies are already equipped with the ability to take in much larger volumes of oxygen than we normally experience. Our lungs and diaphragm work in perfect concert to flood our bodies with the right amount of energy-infusing oxygen. All we have to do is breathe deeply.

This tip was brought to you by Debra with Body Designs.

If you would like to learn more, please contact me. I can work with you to improve your oxygen intake so that your body functions the way it was created to function. Take charge of your health.

I am not sure why any woman would consider, even the slightest bit, about shaving the hair above their lip. Have you ever looked at your legs after shaving for so long? Have you looked at your husband or boyfriend’s face? Shaving on the face is a HUGE NO, NO for women. Do not think about, do not do it, do not consider it. Wax the hair above your lip just like you would wax your eyebrows. No sane woman is going to shave their eyebrows so don’t shave any place on your face. Learn how to wax at home from a professional to cut your costs if you see that you will need to do this often with the hair above your lip. You might also consider have laser hair removal.

If you wax the hair rather than shave the hair it will have finer regrowth and the hair will become less noticeable in most cases.

Always looking for some great trick to do at home rather than the spa? Consider this at home spa trick. Heat up some water until it’s almost boiling, then pour it into a bowl and add a few drops of essential oil to it. Lavender has proven calming benefits. Lean into the bowl and breathe in the vapors. This at home tip was found recently in a parents magazine.

Are you guilty of not cleaning your machine after a workout? I know that I am. Do you clean your machine before a workout? I don’t. I should do both. Considering the outbreak in illnesses these days it is very important to make sure that your machines are clean. Machines at the gym harbor sweat and germs and allow bacteria to thrive and grow. Gross, I know. This stuff - germs, bacteria, even MRAS, can survive for up to three days! Make sure you clean your machines before and after use. Also make sure you lay down a towel when you are working out and that you do not wipe your face with the side that was on the equipment. Consider using towels at the gym. A wonderful towel that has been created is one that has gym written on one side and face written on the other side. This helps you remember which side you should wipe your face with. You can find these at athleteoutfitters.com. When you leave the gym, always remember to wash your hands.

No More Crunches Please!!!!! Crunches… in my opinion are the worst exercises that you can do for your abs. Unless you are doing them properly, which very few people do, you are just going to teach your stomach to pooch! Not to mention the strain on your neck etc… Have you ever noticed that when you do crunches your midsection seems to get bigger.... that’s why.... and who wants that! So first of all we want to correct your breathing. Make sure that as you inhale your stomach expands and when you exhale your stomach tightens. Also make sure that you inhale and exhale through your nose. Here is one of the best exercises for your abs..... http://www.bodydesigns.biz/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=38&Itemid=7

In the September issues of Cosmopolitan, a reader asked if it was possible to shrink her pores. What do you think the answer was? With all the medical technology out there do you think it is possible at this point in time or do you think you just get what you get and you deal with it? Well according to Cosmo, you cannot shrink your pores all you can do is use a salicylic or glycolic-acid product a few times a week and that will make them look smaller.
