New Federal Regulations for Commercial Drivers Signed into Law

Under new federal regulations, individuals who have or who are seeking a Pennsylvania commercial driver's license must report the type of driving they do and provide a copy of their Medical Examiner's Certificate to the Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

Attention Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Agents

When PennDOT inspectors examine your business, they will look to see if your agents' education certificates are current. According to your PennDOT contract, you must have PennDOT-approved training every two years. Take advantage of PAN's live motor vehicle seminars, MVcourse Advanced, which provides the required training for current motor vehicle agents and their employees; and MVcourse Basic for those agents who have 1 year or less of motor vehicle paper work experience. PAN also offers an online course for your convenience, Motor Vehicle Agent Services Basic Title and Registration Course Online. All of PAN's motor vehicle courses are PennDOT-approved. PREP Meeting Scheduled
