Life often calls us to step into things that feel bigger than us. New assignments, difficult conversations, ministry opportunities, or seasons that require courage. In this message from our Anchors series, we look at Joshua’s call to lead God’s people into the Promised Land and Peter’s step out of the boat toward Jesus. Through Joshua 1:9, we’re reminded that courage is not the absence of fear, but trusting God in the face of fear. When fear tries to keep us from starting and discouragement tries to keep us from continuing, God’s promise remains our anchor: He will be with us wherever we go.

Life can feel unstable when fear rises, plans fall apart, and waiting on God becomes painful. In this message from our Anchors series, we look at the story of Hagar in Genesis 16 and discover the heart of a God who meets people in the wilderness. Through her story, we’re reminded that God is not distant, detached, or indifferent to our pain. He is the God who sees, the God who hears, and the One who can hold the full weight of our lives.
