What Have They Seen In Thy House?

The sermon challenges believers to examine the spiritual condition of their households by asking what would be visible if Jesus visited their homes. Drawing from the story of Hezekiah in 2 Kings, the preacher urges families to prioritize Christ, unconditional love, regular Bible study, and persistent prayer as foundational elements of domestic life. It emphasizes the necessity of godly discipline, order, and peace within the family structure to counteract societal influences and raise children in the fear of the Lord. The message highlights that forgiveness and grace must be actively practiced at home so that children can understand God's mercy and develop a lasting faith. Ultimately, it calls for a consistent Christian witness where worship and integrity are not confined to the church but permeate every aspect of family life.

The Lord Stood With Me

The sermon explores the profound isolation of the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 4, where he experienced total abandonment by his associates. Despite this human desertion, Paul found that the Lord stood with him, providing essential strength and empowerment for his ministry. The preacher illustrates this truth through personal anecdotes about mentorship and the disappointment of broken relationships to highlight the danger of placing ultimate trust in people. The central message emphasizes that God's presence offers a unique security and courage that human support cannot replicate. Believers are encouraged to rely on divine preservation and deliverance rather than the reliability of others.

Matthew 6: 1-18 - For Show?

The sermon challenges believers to examine the authenticity of their faith, contrasting genuine devotion with the performative religiosity often seen in modern culture. Drawing primarily from Matthew chapter six, the preacher emphasizes that God observes all actions, even those done in secret, and rejects any motive aimed at seeking human approval. The message encourages Christians to view their sacrifices and good works not as meaningless efforts but as investments that yield tangible rewards both in this life and eternally. By citing numerous scriptural passages, the text assures the audience that a faithful God actively supports and honors those who serve with sincerity and humility. Ultimately, the central call is to live transparently before God, trusting that His approval far surpasses any earthly recognition.

Fruit of Unbelief (Part 5)

The sermon identifies apathy, neglect of Scripture, and doubt as the primary fruits of unbelief that harden the Christian heart. It warns against spiritual blindness and indifference to evangelism, urging believers to prioritize daily engagement with God's Word as essential spiritual sustenance. The preacher emphasizes that faith is cultivated through hearing the Word and encourages a return to sincere, unwavering trust in biblical truths despite worldly distractions or rejection. By renewing the mind and rejecting double-mindedness, Christians can overcome these spiritual deficits and live with genuine purpose and holiness.

Fellowship with the Father (Remastered)

When everything else fails, is the Christian standing on the solid rock? On this rock, they will never be moved. In this sermon on Psalm 73:25–26 titled "Fellowship with the Father," Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones explains that God is this very foundation of life and notes how the psalmist turns to worship. The psalmist arrives at the goal of salvation: desiring and worshipping God alone. Everything else takes second place to God. For this psalmist, first place belongs to Him. The psalmist has discovered that there is no satisfaction apart from God. He then gives himself to the adoration of this rock. The Christian should long for God and desire to know Him and they may inquire how might they stand on this solid ground. First, Dr. Lloyd-Jones explains that the Christian must discover there is nobody else who can help them but God. Second, the Christian then desires God Himself, not merely what God gives or does. Eternal life, as described by the apostle John, is fellowship with God. The Christian should ask themselves what are they looking for in heaven, and if it is God or merely for the blessings of God. They are encouraged to listen to this sermon and build their life on this foundation stone because God is the rock.

Clean Your Conscience

Clean Your Conscience (Hebrews 9:14) The sermon explores the nature of the human conscience as a God-given moral alarm that testifies to right and wrong, yet warns that this inner witness can become seared or corrupted through denial, rationalization, and habitual sin. It argues that religious rituals, self-improvement, or mere knowledge cannot remove the burden of guilt before a holy God. The central message emphasizes that only the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ, offered without spot to God, has the power to truly purge the conscience from dead works. This divine cleansing does not merely silence feelings of shame but deals with the objective reality of sin, granting peace and enabling believers to serve the living God with a renewed heart. The preacher urges listeners to stop hiding their guilt and instead trust in Christ's finished work for complete forgiveness and restoration.

Be Sure

The sermon challenges believers to overcome self-focus and selfishness by answering God's call to serve others in the last days. Using the biblical account of the tribes settling east of the Jordan, it warns that neglecting one's divine purpose leads to spiritual starvation and hidden sin. The preacher emphasizes that true fulfillment comes not from personal comfort but from engaging in the harvest field and extending forgiveness to others. It asserts that God eagerly embraces those who repent and empowers them with His authority to fight for the lost. Ultimately, the message urges the congregation to step out of their comfort zones and become an active army for Christ's glory.

#58-A Priest After the Order of Melchisedec Pt.1

The sermon explores the superiority of Jesus Christ's priesthood over the Levitical system by examining the mysterious figure of Melchizedek in Hebrews 7. It highlights how Melchizedek, as king of righteousness and peace, received tithes from Abraham, thereby demonstrating a priestly order that predates and surpasses the law of Levi. The preacher argues that Christ serves as an eternal high priest after this unique order, established by God's oath rather than genealogical descent. This theological framework establishes Jesus as a more effective mediator who offers a better covenant and permanent salvation to all believers. The message encourages listeners to recognize the completeness of Christ's work and their secure standing before God through His unchangeable priesthood.

“The Better Sacrifice” – Heb.10:1-18

In today's era of woke reinterpretations, the meaning of the death of Jesus on the Cross has been stretched to include many absurd explanations. The cross was not merely some sentimental symbol of love; it wasn't an illustration of universal personal sacrifice; it wasn't some common example of all human suffering; it most certainly wasn't a badge for the oppressed. Something actually happened on that Day in history. A legal transaction took place. Sin was dealt with. A debt was paid. Sinners were redeemed. God was satisfied. Join us this Sunday as Hebrews 10 reveals why the sacrifice of Jesus stands alone in human history and what He accomplished on that Day for His Bride.
