Bicara tentang saatnya total action membuat saya teringat kisah hidup seorang pria paruh baya yang sangat populer karena keberhasilannya meraih suara terbanyak dalam pemilihan kepala daerah DKI Jakarta. Anda pasti tahu tokoh yang saya maksud. Tokoh ini tahu betul makna dari saatnya total action. Joko Widodo, Gubernur Jakarta periode 2012-2017 ini secara mengejutkan berhasil mematahkan prediksi pengamat saat mampu meraih 53,82% suara dalam Pilkada DKI Jakarta tahun 2012 lalu. Hebatnya lagi pria Solo, Jawa Tengah ini menyingkirkan calon incumbent Fauzi Bowo yang mendapat dukungan dari sejumlah partai besar di tanah air.

Jokowi, demikian sapaan akrab masyarakat padanya, tidak lahir dalam keluarga yang mapan apatah lagi kaya raya. Beliau anak seorang tukang kayu bernama Noto Mihardjo yang setiap harus berjuang dengan keahlian yang dimilikinya mencari nafkah bagi keluarganya. Kondisi ini membuat Jokowi tergerak membantu orang tuanya, masa kecilnya ia habiskan dengan turut bekerja, mulai dari ojek payung, kuli panggul, dan lain sebagainya. Tak heran bila beliau tahu betul susahnya jadi orang miskin.

Seiring waktu, Joko dewasa akhirnya diterima di Fakultas Kehutanan Universitas Gajah Mada Yogyakarta. Di tempat inilah Jokowi memperdalam ilmu kayu dan industri kayu. Masa-masa kuliah tidaklah mudah bagi Jokowi, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya sehari-hari ia terpaksa harus bekerja sambil kuliah. Namun dengan kedisiplinan dan keteguhan hati Jokowi tetap bertahan dan berhasil menyelesaikan studinya.

Kembali ke Solo, Jokowi melihat industri kayu punya potensi yang sangat besar. Dari sinilah awal kesuksesan Jokowi, meskipun dalam perjalanannya tidak selalu mulus. Namun karakter kuat yang sudah terbentuk sejak kecil membawanya sukses menjalani bisnis kayu. Tapi keberhasilan yang ia raih tidak membuatnya kemudian puas. Ketulusan hatinya dan kepeduliannya kepada kondisi masyarakat miskin bahkan membawanya terjun ke dunia politik. Ia ingin terjun langsung melayani kotanya, lingkungannya, saudara-saudaranya. Akhirnya tahun 2005 beliau terpilih sebagai walikota Solo, sikap dan karakternya mampu memikat simpati warga Solo pada saat itu dan Jokowi pun "membalas" dengan sukses. Saatnya total action benar-benar melekat pada diri Jokowi saat ia menjabat sebagai walikota Solo.

Tidak ada yang menyangsikan peran besar Jokowi dalam membangun kota Solo. Action, action dan action adalah motto Jokowi dalam bekerja. Beliau turun tangan langsung mengunjungi warganya tanpa terkecuali, meski untuk hal-hal sepele yang mungkin bagi pemimpin-pemimpin lainnya bisa diamanatkan pada bawahan. Tetapi tidak bagi Jokowi. Rakyat Solo mencintainya, terbukti saat pilkada tahun 2010 beliau kembali terpilih dengan mengantongi suara lebih dari 90%. Namun baru 2 tahun menjabat, pada tahun 2012 ia terpilih sebagai Gubernur DKI Jakarta periode 2012-2017.

Apa rahasia sukses Jokowi? Selain karena ia tulus, rendah hati, dan jujur, Jokowi adalah contoh tokoh yang disiplin dan berpedoman pada semangat "kerja, kerja dan kerja". Baginya tidak perduli orang mau bicara apa tentang kita, tetaplah bekerja dan berusaha karena hanya dengan cara itu kita mampu meraih impian sesulit apa pun itu. Anda dan saya mungkin punya kesamaan nasib dengan Jokowi, lahir dari keluarga yang sederhana dan untuk itu kita merasa bahwa impian besar bukanlah bagian kita. Namun saat ini saya mau katakan belajar dari kisah sukses Jokowi, Saatnya Total Action teman!

Stephen Fishler, salah satu pemilik situs, menyebutkan bahwa buku komik tersebut langsung dibeli semenit setelah posting harga US$ 1,5 juta.

Harga tersebut mengalahkan rekor buku komik termahal di dunia, yang sebelumnya dipegang oleh komik Batman edisi pertama (1939). Komik Batman dijual seharga US$ 750.000 pada lelang di Dallas.

Cheap Cars For Farmers In 2012?
Good news for farmers in Indonesia. The government is currently preparing a cheap car designed for rural farmers. The car is expected to be sold at a price of Rp 55 million at the end of 2012.

The news was disclosed by Minister of Industry, MS Hidayat when he attended the inauguration of Daihatsu automobile plant in Karawang, on Friday (26/05/2011).

MS Hidayat said that in 2011 the government has set up cheap car design for rural transport facilities, and hopefully next year can be produced. But now they're thinking about an appropriate name for these vehicles.

What about the price of that cheap car? Reportedly, the low-cost cars will be sold at only about 55 million rupiah.
