Paris Hilton was born on February 17th, 1981, to Rick and Kathy Hilton, making her the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of the Hilton hotels and source of the family fortune - estimated at $300 million. When the LAPD arrested Darnell Riley last year for burglarizing and attacking Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis in 2004, it wasn’t revealed just who helped give the crucial tip to nabbing the suspect.

He then threatened him with putting the images on the Internet unless he paid him $500,000. Police later found Riley’s fingerprints on the duct tape used in the crime. They also found a number of tapes featuring raw footage of the Girls Gone Wild video series at the suspect’s home along with a $6,000 Rolex watch belonging to Francis.

Paris Hilton told the London tabloid The Sun this week that she will not pose for Playboy despite ongoing rumors to the contrary. The millionaire hotel heiress, who will turn 25 on Feb. 17, said she has been repeatedly approached about posing nude for the magazine over the years and has continued to turn them down. “Hugh Hefner has been after me since I was 17,” Hilton told the paper.
