Look what i've just got! Yes! Another customized watch! wohooooooo! Everything customized never fails to impress

This cool thing came from Artyvek ! Arty what? Lemme tell you just a bit about Artyvek. Artyvek is an art-and-tyvek based business that develops the usage of tyvek creatively as the base material of all our products. The material itself is a type of fancy paper made out of polyethylene fiber that is waterproof and tear-proof, not to mention that it can be easily drawn on. I just have to enlarge the word "can be easily drawn on" , major coolnessss :o

I choose to use more colors and shapes this time. it really is F-U-N :D

When they say easily, they really do mean it! you can draw on it with anything! the best part is, it's waterproof! So now, you can design ur own watch in a fun way :) Do visit Artyvek now!

By the waaaaay how many of you attended ~~my sister's~~ Katy Perry's concert this Thursday?? Well i...... didn't. But apparently there was this amazing site that puts away a bit of my sadness by letting me see her live performances and made me feel like "i was there". thank you to...........................................youtube. Photoshop Tutorial!

Yeayyy another Tutorial! Well firstly i was very amazed seeing the feedback from my latest photoshop watercolor tutorial. It was great seeing u all to actually try making and following the steps, and not to forget the amazing results! So this time i'm going to show how to make :

PICTURE TEXTS

Step 1

Start by opening a blank layer

Step 2

Then open all of the pictures that u are going to use. This time, I will be using 2 floral pattern backgrounds.

Step 3

Now, use the “ Horizontal Type Tool” (or by simply typing “T”) to write down the words on the blank layer. (I am in fact a “harry potter movies” fan ^^)

Step 4

Make sure that the text color is black

Step 5

Now, I want to change the color of the background. Pay attention to the layers box on the bottom right. Make sure that the layer is on “background” (as seen on the picture above).

Step 6

Click on the “Paint Bucket Tool” ( or by simply typing “G”) then set the color by click on the “Set Foreground Color” (on the bottom left). Choose the color you want then click “OK”

Step 7

Use the “Move Tool” ( or by simply typing “V”) and drag ur picture layer to the text layer

Step 8

It will look like this

Now pay close attention to the layer box, make sure that ur “picture layer “ is on top of the text words. Then click on the small arrow on top of Opacity (look at red circle).

Step 10

Then choose “Create Clipping Mask”. Or if you think that it’s confusing u, u can make a shortcut by typing “ Alt +Ctrl + G”

Step 11

YEAY U’VE MADE IT!! (here, I changed the color of the word “NO GOOD” to white)

Step 12

Overall, YOUR DONE. U can stop here. But I wanna do a bit more on this picture to make it look better.

So, I dragged my other floral pattern layer to the text layer (as seen on the pict. above). Then do over step 9-10 (or u can just type “Alt + Ctrl + G”)

Step 13

Now this is what makes it different. For the 3^rd time, look over to the layers box on the right. Then click the “Opacity”. Feel free to arrange the opacity level. This time, I set it to 69%

Step 14

There u go! U see the difference?

Step 15

The last touch up! Click on the “Text Layer” (look at the red circle) at the Layers Box. Then click ur right mouse and choose “Blending Options”

Step 16

Click on “Stroke” then freely change the color and size. After that, click OK.

Step 17

AND THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS NOW!

Lastly, I’m going to use the “Crop Tool” (or by simply typing “C”) to crop it a bit

Step 19

FINALLY! TADAAAA. WE’RE DONE! :D

to be honest, i'm actually a gager! i always love visiting 9gag.com , just can't get enough of it! anyways, school is.... back. Back to my daily routine. the holidays flew by soooo fast! i mean like very very super duper extremely mega fast! As u can see is that the traffic is back to normal here in Jakarta. Traffic jams everywhere, as always :')
One of the hardest thing for me to do is.... wake up early in the morning. especially in a weather condition like this!! it makes me wanna sleep all day looong :o But i guess i'll have to change this habit. So one of my 2012 RESOLUTION IS..... stop the laziness, more productive! Since time is running by way fast these days, i have to spend it wisely and productively. i wanna make everyday count :D

Oh god, someone please make me stop making these amazingly fun gif images >.< i can't handle myself...aaaaargh

As i told u before, it's gonna be a wet month. and yes i'm truly right! it rained aaaaall daaay looong. well it did stop for a few moment. and not to mention the breezy cold air! yesss! it feels GREAT! i've always wanted to wear sweaters and layerings here in jakarta and finally i can due to the cold weather! :D

I forgot to say Hello to January! Well january started off.... not good. yes, not good. i've been "haunted" by these weird and cautioned feelings, damn :S well at least i've learned sumthin from this.
i guess this month will be a wet one. it rained everyday starting from early this year. i think it's a good thing,perhaps. it feels great waking up early in the morning getting to feel the breezy air :) but the bad thing is... school starts this monday. noooooooo! :''( hufft, well it's reality that i have to face.
P.S : I'm enjoying editing gif images :D so probably u would see lots of gif images for these couple of days, or weeks, or months. we never know...

Guess what, i got these Max Azria jumpsuit with the best deal! It was half price off! It's actually a collaboration between Max Azria with Miley Cyrus. i was a fan of her back then when i was 12 or sumthin , but not anymore. but oh well, at least i loved this jumpsuit. i've been addicted to patterns (tribal ones to be exact) since... early this December, i guess. And not to mention the fringe navajo bag that i was drooling over since ages!! it's becoming my "everyday bag". i don't really like changing bags that often, so i could wear the same bag over and over again for days till weeks.

HowToMakeWatercolorEffects

Since A LOT of u have been asking me how to make watercolor effects, i'm going to present...tadaaa my first ever tutorial : how to make watercolor effects. enjoy :)

Before u start editing in photoshop. U have to first download the watercolor textures that u want. Just simply go to GOOGLE and type down “watercolor texture”. You can choose any texture that u like. NOTE : Choose more than 1 texture . The more the better

STEP 1
Open ur photoshop application. This time I’m going to use Photoshop CS3.
Open the image that u are about to edit

STEP 2
Open all of the watercolor textures that u are going to use.
Don’t forget to adjust the size and make it similar to the image on the first step.

STEP 3
The tricky part starts here!
A. Ok so I’m going to start with the purple texture. Try to find the “MAGIC WAND TOOL” in the toolbox (The Photoshop toolbox is where it all happens. Almost every single thing you do in Photoshop will involve using tools from the toolbox ) on ur left (as seen on the picture below) the click it or by simply typing a “W”.

B. Drag ur mouse to the texture and then ur mouse will look like a magic wand

C. Click on the texture and it will make some kind of connecting lines ( as seen on the picture below).
NOTE : When u are about to click on the texture with ur magic wand, do click on the white area/background instead of clicking on the colored area ( u can see my magic wand on step 3b, it was on the white area/background, not the colored one). Therefore, to make it more easy, it would be better if u download the watercolor texture with blank/white background)

D. After that, go to SELECT --> INVERSE

E. Then click the “MOVE TOOL” in the toolbox on the top left ( as seen on the picture below) or just by simply typing a “V”. Now ur mouse won’t look like a magic wand anymore. It looks like a black arrow or a point when u drag it to ur texture.

F. Click on the texture that are inside the connecting lines (the colored ones) then drag it to ur image (if u are a bit confused, look at ur mouse when it’s on the texture. Make sure that it looks like a black arrow or a point with a scissor on the bottom. if it looks like that, click it then drag it to ur image)

G. Place it where ever u like

H. Now, we are going to make the texture more lighter. So look to ur right. There u see whole box which is called the layer palette . All u have to do is click on ur texture layer ( on the picture above it is written as “LAYER 1”) then click the “OPACITY” (found in the upper-right-hand corner of the Layers palette, as seen on the picture below. It ranges from 0 - 100% opacity, and is very useful when working with adjusting color, sharpness, or any other adjustment.) . After that, adjust it. Here, I’m going to adjust it until 62%. Now, the watercolor texture is more lighter

STEP 4
Then ur done….with the first texture. Here, I’m going to use 2 textures. U can use as many watercolor textures as u want but remember, the more u use , the harder and the longer it gets. I’m going to use the orange one for the second texture. Now, do step 3(a-h) all over again. The steps are all exactly the same

STEP 5
When ur all done re-doing step 3 , it will look like this ( as seen on the picture below). Now ur done with the watercolor textures!!

STEP 6
Let’s add some text. Click the “Horizontal Type Tool” in the toolbox on the left (as seen on the picture below) or by typing “T”

STEP 7
Move ur mouse to the image then make a box by clicking and dragging it (it will look like the picture below)

Then write anything u want! Don’t forget to adjust the FONT, FONT SIZE , and FONT COLOR (all placed on the top as seen on the picture)

STEP 8
Now, u are done!! YEAYYY!

I've attended the JFW2012 last Tuesday with one of my fellow friend Dinta. It actually is some kind of reunion between us cos it has been ages since the last time we met!
Ok soooo the shows was UWOW a.k.a great! I got the chance to watch APPMI,MANGO,and CENTRO shows. APPMI were actually divided into some designers which are Hengki Kawilarang,Rebecca Ing, and Vicki Soetono. It was all about gowns, evening dresses, some rock 'n roll preppy touch, and u-can-see laces with pretty pretty colors and strong details + accessories. I don't think these creations represent me best (for now), but I still liked them :)
Then the centro show! The theme was "urban city style" which the show was divided into 3 color themes. Red,gold, and black&silver. And guess what?? I give them all a YAY!! They're creating a cool rebel chic look with the coolest colors for this season. They also have elegant dresses too. Wait no,they got everything!starting from little red dress,trousers,backless tops,silver metallic blazers,gold dresses,evening dress,and even gowns. This is what I love about centro, they always have these new and fresh designs based on the trends every season. 2thumbs up for centro and the crews! Wohooo!
Buuuuut.... There's a but. Let's just say that I wasn't in a good condition. And I get this stuffed nose,blurry eyes,rough cough,and a little headache thingy at night. And the thing is....the show was until late night. Sooo I had to feel those stuffed-nose,blurry-eyes,rough-cough,and a-little-headache thingy huhu o.O and also there were some delays and the show didn't start as it was written down on the schedule. So there was I, sitting like a dumball (I don't even know what this means but it sounds kinnda cute) who got stuffed-nose,blurry-eyes,rough-cough,and a-little-headache thingy. Sooo the result was, my body dropped the next day and dropped even more the day after the next day... I hope u understand this. But not to worry! I've got my best medicine with me! Which is....tadaaaa....chocolate! :9 chocolate never fails to make me feel better^^

I've been loving neutral looks since... a week ago i guess. My mood reflects my style, so i've been feeling "plain" for the past week. why? hummm i'm not pretty sure but it seems that nothing special happened.
Ok so those shoes are actually an instant love. i rarely find snakeskin prints in red. they're usually in boring black or gray colors. this means that i've just found a new species of snake...with red skin. nah just kidding, these are faux snakeskin. This is something that i shouldn't let go becos the last thing i wanna see is someone else wearing these rare red snakeskin shoes. So i took it, it felt good :)
I don't wanna look too boring and too pale and look like a naked human (becos the whole outfit colors are almost the same like my skin) , so i added a touch of red and orange to brighten up my day :)

aaand for those of u who have waited long enough, P.I.C.K will FINALLY launch their first volume soon! maybe around next week!

So these leather shorts has been my best friend since i got them at a Vintage Market over at Bandung. I think we were meant to be together since it was a perfect fit for me! It was actually one of my best buy, not to mention the price which was sooooo cheap >.< Dear leather shorts, i love u.
Not much more to say so that's probably it. Oh ya, i need to add more songs into my playlist, does anyone have any recommendation on any good songs?

BOOO!! well halloween has been one of the most waited moment for me back then when i was around umm 9/10yrs old. I remembered that there used to be a parade back then in my city every halloween and there were people throwing out candies and sweets. And then went trick-o-treating at night. This was my favorite part!! We get to dress up into our favorite characters and go around the neighborhood knocking on every door then yell TRICK OR TREAT!! at the end, i gathered up with my friends then we... count candies!! :D It's also very fun seeing people very enthusiastic for halloween and they actually decorate their houses and transform it into a what-so-called "haunted house". Don't forget about the jack-o-lanterns! They can be very (VERY) creative.

Which one is ur favorite?

Well i used to dress up as a witch or a princess back then. This is pretty random. And i remembered that my sister Sabrina, she actually dressed up as a pumpkin when she was around 1yrs old! Yes, halloween can be veryvery super duper mega F.U.N. I never pictured halloween as a spooky and creepy day, i always pictured it as a 24hr non-stop fun day! But now it's different. Here in Indonesia, halloween is just... FLAT. Nothing special at all. Well people here don't celebrate it and i never actually know the story behind halloween or the true meaning of it. I'm just a "kid" who tries to have fun.

ok so it was veryveryvery late for me to review about this but it's better to be late than never right? Ok so according to me, the show was a vibe, very RAD, uber-cool and beyond words. The atmosphere was OWOW. I was really enjoying it, i get to see and meet new people with different styles and personality. Ohya! since the show was held wayyy in the morning, the escalators and lifts was still OFF. Sooo i had tu walk to the 4rth floor with my 12cm heels :') yes amazing! The song playlist also made the whole show more awesome, the right song choice for the show. The show opened up with a slow low beat music and then continuing with a hard beat music. i know i shouldn't be talking about the song playlist , so here's the recap of the show

Nina Nikicio, the Creative Director behind Nikicio, has always admired skaterboarders. Be it the culture, the vibe, the movement; she’s fascinated by it. When Nina designed the Nikicio Mixte 07 collection, she had this particular girl in her mind; a laid back skater girl with effortless style, a nomad, a light-traveller. At the same time, Nina is also heavily inspired by trompe l'oile. Somewhere between the Baroque period and Elsa Schiaparelli, Nina made her own version of the Norwegian knit, scanned it and digital-printed it on silk; her medium of choice because she likes the irony of having something heavy printed on a light, luxurious fabric.
The print evolved into many different mediums; two sets of pajamas, a dress, a jacket, and even a scarf. The Mixte 07 collection was derived from that single idea, and later transformed into a full collection consists of easy, "get up and go out" clothes made of modal jerseys, soft baby goat and lamb leather, fine knitted cotton and wool, and also hand washed chambray and bleached denim.
Besides using the classic Nikicio color schemes such as black, grey and white, Mixte 07 adds an extra oomph with a Kandura ceramics. Kandura succesfully created porcelain beads made of bone china with transparent glaze for the outerwears and accesories, creating something heavy with a delicate beautiful feel to it. Effortless and dainty; that’s Nikicio Mixte 07 in a nutshell

these bunch of white lovely flowers came in a very crazy hour. where people rather choose to sleep and enjoy their dreams in this typical hour, but someone risked their sleeping time to come over my house and present me these beautiful things... And it gets better!

I, Katy perry #eh, declare myself that I am no longer 15 starting from this moment. From now on, I am a 16year old kid who still loves watching tom&jerry and scoobydoo. I don't think that the word "kid" is proper anymore. The word itself spells six-teen. TEEN. But the thing is, i can't let it go. Or maybe it just wants to stay... As long as it leads into something good. I'll make it stay :)
So, 16years is a loooong time. It has nearly 8409600 minutes, 140160 hours , 5840 days , 768 weeks, 192 months , but only 1 life. And I passed it all in a snap! Well not exactly, I mean there were lots and lots and lots and lots and LOTS of problems,bumpy roads,and unpleasant times but I passed it all :) it feels...GOOD! But not to worry, if compared to the happy moments it's like around 4 : 10. The good,happy,fun,undescribable moments are the 10.
Then what are my hopes for this year? Hummm, I won't make this long. I just want to see smiles and more smiles on my face and all the other people I love. I guess that's simple enough... Oh ya, I also want more and more of tribal-izing native american goods, a bunch of flowers all over my house, lots and lots of yummy sweets, more crafting appliances, pretty nail arts, colorful toy cameras, my bedroom's roof walls to be painted like the galaxy with glow in the darks stars, wooden floor, a pink mini cooper and an electronic dog doll that can bark... I'm going to write this down on a pretty piece of paper and give it to my mom, or perhaps to santa clause.
I actually don't know how to react right now. Either I have to be happy or sad knowing the fact that I'm growing old and in matter of years I'll have wrinkles...mind that.But birthdays only last a day... When the clock strikes 12 on october 2nd, I'll have to wait another 525600 minutes , 8760 hours, 365 days, 48 weeks and 12months all over again. but I don't know if I'm ready yet, I never know what will happen tomorrow or 10more minutes after this. People say that the older u get the stronger u'll be but the harder it'll be. But I'll stick with this 1 quote "life's a climb, but the view's great". Probably one of the most motivating song according to me is "The Climb - Miley Cyrus". Just listen to the lyrics and enjoy the song. So I'll be happy for today,tomorrow,the day after that,and beyond. This is my day and it only happens once a year so I'm going to enjoy it :D no one can take this away from me! No one! Beware, I might be dangerous today to those who tries to steal it. This is not the beginning anymore, I'm just going to continue all of the things I've failed and achieved at and make it into something better,better,and finally the best. Keep ur dignity up high but ur feet down low. Sooo happy heppy hippy hoppy huppy 16 to me! Yeaaay :D
Lastly, it ain't about how fast u get there , it ain't about what's waiting on the other side, life's the climb :)
