CDMA ဖုန္းမ်ားကို ယခု ၂၀၁၁ ႏွစ္ကုန္အထိသာ ခြင့္ျပဳ ခ်ထားေပးေတာ့မည္ ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း ျမန္မာဆက္သြယ္ေရး သတင္းအခ်က္အလက္ႏွင့္ နည္းပညာဌာနမွ တာဝန္ရွိသူ တစ္ဦးက ေျပာၾကားေၾကာင္း ဒီဇင္ဘာ ၃၀ ရက္ေန႔ထုတ္ ဧရာဝတီ သတင္းဂ်ာနယ္တြင္ ေဖာ္ျပထားသည္။

ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံအတြင္း၌ လက္ရွိခ်ထားေပးေနေသာ CDMA 450 MHz ႏွင့္ CDMA 800 MHz ဖုန္းမ်ားကို သတ္မွတ္ အလံုးေရ ျပည့္သည့္ အထိသာ ခ်ထားေပးမည္ျဖစ္ျပီး အလံုးေရ တိုးခ်ဲ႔ခ်ထားရန္ အစီအစဥ္မရွိေသးေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။

“သတ္မွတ္အလံုးေရ ျပည့္ရင္ ျပီးျပီ၊ အလြန္ဆံုး ဒီႏွစ္ကုန္မွာ အားလံုး အျပီးသတ္ႏိုင္တယ္။ ထပ္မခ်ေပးေတာ့ဘူး။ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ဌာနက တိုးခ်ဲ႔ ခ်ထားမယ့္ မိုဘိုင္းဖုန္းလိုင္း ေလးသန္း စီမံကိန္းမွာ CDMA မပါဘူး၊ GSM သီးသန္႔ပဲ” ဟု အဆိုပါ ပုဂိၢဳလ္က ဆိုပါသည္။ CDMA ဖုန္းမ်ားအတြက္ အင္တာနက္ သံုးဆြဲခြင့္ ေလ်ာက္ထားျခင္းကိုလည္း ၂၀၁၁ခုႏွစ္ ဒီဇင္ဘာလအတြင္းတြင္ ရပ္ဆိုင္းထားလိုက္ျပီ ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။

လက္ရွိအခ်ိန္တြင္ ရန္ကုန္-မႏၱေလး- ေနျပည္ေတာ္ လမ္းမၾကီး တစ္ေလ်ာက္ GSM BTS လိုင္းဆြဲအားျမင့္ တာဝါတိုင္မ်ား စိုက္ထူလ်က္ရွိျပီး အဆိုပါ ဆိုလာစနစ္သံုး တာဝါတိုင္မ်ား စိုက္ထူျပီးပါက ရန္ကုန္-မႏၱေလး- ေနျပည္ေတာ္ လမ္းမၾကီး တစ္ေလ်ာက္ GSM ဖုန္းမ်ား လိုင္းျပတ္ေတာက္မႈ မရွိေတာ့ေၾကာင္း ဒီဇင္ဘာ ၃၀ ရက္ေန႔ထုတ္ ဧရာဝတီ သတင္းဂ်ာနယ္တြင္ ေဖာ္ျပထားသည္။
