I’m leaving Patheos. No hard feelings. Nothing’s wrong. There’s no drama. And this isn’t spin. All is well.

The simple fact motivating nakedpastor going to its own url is that nakedpastor needs to stand on its own with its own website in order to serve his fans better. That’s all it is.

Thanks for your patience while I make the move!

I’ve been with Patheos for exactly one year. It’s been a great ride. But for important reasons, mainly to do with the independence of the nakedpastor brand and its need to stand on its own, it is time for me to leave Patheos and return to my own url.

My relationship with Patheos has been a good one. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with fantastic people. I’ve made new friends.

Again, I want to thank Patheos. You’re great!!

My last day to post on Patheos is this coming Friday. It will take a day or two to migrate everything over. But hopefully starting on Saturday, March 1, you will find me at nakedpastor.com.

Uganada signed an anti-gay bill that punished gays with up to life in prison.

Nigeria did something similar about a month ago.

We all know what’s going on in Russia.

For those who believe in progress: believe harder!

This further confirms my theory that most actions are reactions. As some gays in the world enjoy increased freedom, other gays will suffer the reaction of stricter legislation.

It is called the last supper, communion, the eucharist, a sacrament.

Over this sacrament some have found war and death while others have found nourishment and life.

Our online community is called The Lasting Supper because we intend to nourish. For life!

Some people and even some denominations and churches who used to believe being gay was a sin have now relaxed on that. Or saw the light.

Now they say if you can’t help being gay you can at least help acting gay. You won’t go to hell for being gay but you will for acting gay. That is, sexually you may be gay but you can’t have gay sex.

Some are getting around this too though by saying that if you are gay and act gay, if you repent and get forgiveness then you’re okay. I’m not sure how many times this is allowed.

But I think in time many of them will relax on this too. Or see the light.

Many of the members of The Lasting Supper are gay and have found a safe place to process this along with their spirituality. You’re welcomed to pull up a chair at our table!
