It was Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett. Now theres a new one to the big 3, Rajon Rondo! He has been apart of the team since the 2006-2007 season. In 2008 he was considered the weak link, as well as Kendrick Perkins, as the other 3 starters lead the team to the franchises 17th championship. Over the last two years Rondo has matured and his game has vastly improved from that of what it was in 2008. He has matured and worked on his game, especially his agressiveness in the way that he plays the game of basketball. <br /><br />In high school Rondo played for his highschool football team, he was the teams quarterback. He had a love for the game that couldn't be beat, with his speed, determination and love for the game he was nearly unbeatable. He had to give up his dream of playing football beacause he realized he wouldnt grow and wouldn't make much of a sucessful quarterback because of his small size. But he found basketball was his true calling. Dispite his size of 6' 1" he has been great in the NBA, hes one of the best players on one of the best teams.
