Just Announced - Killer Klowns From Outer Space:The Game

jeremy@pbandawesome.com (Jeremy Pluta) — Tue, 23 Aug 2022 16:14:00 -0400

In "Things I wasn't expecting" news, Good Shepherd Entertainment has announced a Killer Klowns From Outer Space video game. This will be an asymmetrical game, but unlike other games in the genre that have one killer(Friday the 13th, Dead by Daylight), it will be a three versus seven game.

As a fan of the 1988 film, this game is exciting news!

You can read the press release and see some screenshots below.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror based on the iconic ‘80s film from MGM. In the battle between Killer Klowns and citizens of Crescent Cove, team up and use your wits to harvest humans or save them from the alien invasion!

Developer: Teravision Games

Publisher: Good Shepherd Entertainment

Release Window: Early 2023

Platforms: Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S

WELCOME TO THE TOWN

Crescent Cove is a sprawling arena for unique 3v7 fights between Klowns and humans – boasting various locations, randomly generated map layout and a multitude of tactical opportunities for both teams.

EVOLVING THE HORROR

Unique approach to hide-and-seek gameplay, customization & respawn systems, PvPvE, dynamic objectives leading to multiple match results – Killer Klowns evolves the online horror formula in new ways.

RiffTrax Live 2021 Dates Announced!

jeremy@pbandawesome.com (Jeremy Pluta) — Sat, 8 May 2021 14:51:00 -0400

Last year sucked for a lot of different reasons. The West Coast burning. The pandemic. Murder hornets. One of the biggest downers for me was the cancellation of the RiffTrax Live shows Hobgoblins and Amitville 4: Attack of the Lamps.

Thankfully, thinks are currently on track for those live shows to happen this year! The unfortunate thing is that people like me have to wait a little bit longer for those live shows to hit VoD, because we no longer have any theaters locally to go see them.

But at least there's hope.

Bottom Shelf Mixology: Moon In Retrograde

jeremy@pbandawesome.com (Jeremy Pluta) — Sat, 23 Jan 2021 14:07:00 -0500

Welcome to The Bottom Shelf™! We have racked our brains (and our livers) to come up with special "bottom shelf" versions of popular drinks, and some original creations that range from "oh, that might be interesting" to "that sounds absolutely disgusting".

Moon In Retrograde (Blue Moon)

1 1/4 oz Five O'Clock Gin
1/2 oz Blue Curacao
1 1/2 oz Blue Moon ice cream (melted)
3 oz syrup from store brand canned pineapple
Ice

Stir your pineapple syrup and melted ice cream together in your glass. Add the gin and curacao to your shaker with some ice and gently shake for seven seconds.

Strain from the shaker into the glass and stir together until well mixed.

You should probably drink these less than once in a blue moon.

Special Online RiffTrax Live Event September 29 & Kickstarter 2020 Update

jeremy@pbandawesome.com (Jeremy Pluta) — Fri, 4 Sep 2020 16:04:00 -0400

Well folks, it's official: The RiffTrax Live 2020 season has been pushed back into 2021. This was pretty much expected at this point. Even so, it still stinks on ice.

It also doesn't mean all is lost! There are two special events coming up, and one of them you get to watch from the comfort of your own home.

Out first event is a special LIVE riff of Starship Troopers! Tickets are available here for $9.99, unless you backed the 2020 Kickstarter. If you did, you will be able to watch for free!

The other event will be a special theatrical showing of a NEW VoD: Jack-O on October 21.

If there isn't a theater near you showing it, or if you aren't ready to go watch a movie in theaters yet, this VoD will be available for purchase on through RiffTrax(probably close to Halloween).

For the full update from RiffTrax, head here.

Bottom Shelf Mixology: The Apple Mountain

jeremy@pbandawesome.com (Jeremy Pluta) — Wed, 5 Aug 2020 10:15:00 -0400

Welcome to Bottom Shelf Mixology™! We have racked our brains (and our livers) to come up with special "bottom shelf" versions of popular drinks, and some original creations that range from "oh, that might be interesting" to "that sounds absolutely disgusting".

The Apple Mountain(Mountain Cider High)

1 oz Fleischmann's Vodka
1 oz Store Brand Citrus-Flavored Soda
1 oz Great Value Sugar-Free Apple Flavored Drink (prepared)
Ice

Start by putting ice in your shaker. Add the vodka and apple drink. Shake exactly six times.

Strain into your glass, and stir in the citrus soda.

Drink until you feel like you're on top of a mountain.

Be careful though, the hangover the next morning will make it feel like you are under that same mountain.
