bermain playstation adalah hobi saya dulu, dan sekarang sebenarnya juga masih tertarik untuk jari-jariku diatas joystick playstation. sayangnya waktunya sudah tidak memungkinkan lagi. dari segi usia masih pantaskah Harun Azis bermain playstation sudah 28 tahun lebih! dan dari sisa waktu setelah pulang kerja, capek gak sempat main ps. sebenarnya kalau ada game consoles di rumah, sempat meluangkan waktu untuk mencoba beberapa cd rpg games yang telah saya beli untuk koleksi pribadi saya, masih suka beli cd playstation, playstation 2 kalau yang cd playstation 3 belum pernah nyoba jadi belum pernah beli cd-nya. suatu saat kalau ada uang beli lah 1 game console untuk hiburan di rumah dan juga buat nyenengin calon anak yang sampai sekarang belum nongol-nongol juga! Insya Allah, dengan ijin Allah dan ridho-Nya Harun Azis sudah kepengin punya momongan lagi. The First Step in Repairing Xbox 360 Malfunctions

Repairing the Xbox 360 is not difficult with some basic tools and a lot of attention to detail. However, if your console is still under warranty and you open the case, please be aware that this will permanently void any remaining warranty. This article will show you how to open your console without damaging components.

If you decide to use this or any do-it-yourself guide, please always make sure your console is unplugged from any source of power before trying to access the case interior. Repairing and maintaining your Xbox 360 is a fairly easy proposition. Let's take you through the steps to accessing the Xbox 360's interior.

You will first need a clean and stable workspace, which can consist of a soft, clean towel spread over a sturdy accessible table. By laying the console flat, gently remove the faceplate by squeezing the latches on either end of the faceplate and pulling it forward. The faceplate should just pop off, but be careful to not break the latches or exert too much pressure.

Next, remove the side panels by releasing the tabs using either a small, thin screwdriver or punch in the holes on either side of the case, being careful not to snap the tabs off. At this point it will be easy to see the metal chassis of the console and to begin removing the bottom part of the unit. Place a flat screwdriver on the tabs in the front and back and apply even pressure in order to release them. The screwdriver will need to be inserted between the white panels in order to access the back tabs.

You are now ready to remove the top portion of the case. This can only be done with a "torx" tool or driver. This tool is shaped like a star on the end, but if one is not available you can buy one at the local auto parts or hardware store. Now remove the 6 torx screws from the four corners and center of the console taking note of where the different length screws come from.

Now you can easily remove the DVD module and have access to the CPU and circuits underneath. All internal components are now within easy reach and basic repair can be performed. Some of the most common Xbox 360 problems deal with the DVD aspect, and these problems are often a simple DIY fix.

Three red lights and here it goes: the Xbox 360 problems known as the Red Ring of Death, 3RLOD, X-Clamp Fix or the Red Lights of Doom. This is every Xbox 360's user worse nightmare, because it could turn into a very costly business, especially for those with low technical skills.

Microsoft tells you that when the lights 1, 3 and 4 of the ring of light are flashing red the problem with your Xbox is a hardware failure, and sure Microsoft would like you to send your Xbox in for repair. Microsoft does not tell you what the possible cause of the failure is. Knowing the cause means knowing the fix, and if you know the fix there is no reason for you to pay Microsoft big money just to learn that the only solution is throwing even more money out of the window to buy a new system.

The 3RLOD problem is mostly related to the graphics processing unit (GPU) - but unfortunately the three flashing lights cannot really tell you what is going wrong.

The hardware might fail because of overheating. This malfunction is probably caused by the employment of the wrong type of lead free solder in the construction of the Xbox. Xbox 360 Elite and Xbox 360 Premium have better heat sinks, and some third party manufacturers even introduced external cooling systems, but the overheating problem is still existent for most of the Xbox 360 users.

The fix is not easy for such a problem - you obviously need to cool down your system. So turn it off and try to expose the Xbox to a very low temperature. Other users report success by using a "towel trick" - wrapping the Xbox in a towel for 10-12 minutes while still on, then turning it off for 15-20 minutes. There are pros and cons for this approach, and most of the users report that this is just a temporary fix, as the problem might recur. The situation is not desperate however. The towel trick is just a quick fix, but other easy DIY fixes are available for those with some tech skill.

The hardware might fail because of scratched disks. Some Xbox 360s lack a mechanism to secure the disc solidly in place. Unfortunately you cannot fix this issue alone, but Microsoft provides support for this problem in its Microsoft Xbox Disk Replacement Program - available solely in the countries where the Xbox was originally bought.

Starting to Setup Nintendo Wii

The first step is to figure out how you want your Nintendo Wii to orient. The Wii can lay one of two ways - horizontally or vertically. If you decide to place it vertically, you need to place the Wii in the control plate included with the packaging. When deciding which way to orient the Wii you have to consider your entertainment center and what is the best way to lay it out to keep the unit cool.

Plug in your Wii

The next step to setup Nintendo Wii is to plug it into your television and the wall socket. Check the back, or possibly front of the television to see what type of audio and visual connectors you have. Once you determine which connections are available on your television, setup Nintendo Wii by plugging the right cord into the Wii then into the television.

Next, take out the AC adapter and plug it into the wall then into the back of the Wii. This will supply your Wii with power. Make sure that if you are or plan to travel to Europe that you have the correct AC adapter. Plugging in the wrong one could cause permanent damage to your unit, so be careful.

Once the power and television are connected to you Wii, the next step to setup Nintendo Wii is to plug in the sensor bar. Find the correct jack on the Wii and plug in the cord. You then need to find a good spot to put the sensor bar so the controllers can properly orient themselves. This bar has infrared light emitters in it that need to be picked up by the controllers, so put it in a spot where there is an unobstructed line of sight between the controllers and the bar. Also, make sure that sensor bar is placed in the exact middle of the television as the controllers will align to this.
