<itunes:summary>This week we're trying something a little different: We have a walk through of Universe at War: Earth Assault, complete with game play footage. PCG's very own Dan Stapleton just reviewed the game for the January issue and was happy to report that it is in fact a game, a game that will likely appeal to those among you who fancy RTS games...on computers. So here's the dealeo: Three playable alien factions, very different, some aliens that create crop circles, but no playable Mel Gibson or M. Night characters. So it's Starcraft meets War of the Worlds, with crab walking-things, kinda, but not really.

<itunes:summary>This podcast is weird. Here's the deal: Richard Garriott (AKA: Lord British) is an interesting fellow. In order to promote his new MMO Tabula Rasa, he invited us to go into space...not really, but close enough. Zero G is a company that takes clients on 'experience tourism' flights that simulate the weightlessness of space. It was, in a word, splendiferous. The two most interesting take aways: 1) In zero-G, one doesn't get dizzy. 2) It makes one giggle like a schoolgirl on nitrous oxide.
If you have the means, we highly recommend giving it a whirl. If not, watch the video...and dream...

<itunes:summary>Trick or Treat? Treat! Launching on Halloween, Hellgate London is finally upon us. It's a dream-come-true for many a gamer as Flagship Studios already has a loyal following (cough! Diablo. cough, 'scuse me). So good times: the game is looking great and apparently will run on a pretty basic system. For us at PCG, the circle is now complete: Bill Roper was actually our very first guest on the PC Gamer Video Podcast... and here we are, somewhere beneath London during a demonic invasion...
So buy the 3 pound bag of candy corn and forget the pumpkin, the real action is the Hellgate Londony kind.

Whats that, you say? a subscription-free MMO? Yes sir, you can bet your pet on that! GW is all about being accessible to players who don't have time to reach "Swamp Elf, level 98" and stat crunch "+5 Demon Sword of Awesomeness". So what's this Eye thingy all about anyway? Well you'll have to watch to find out but here's a hint...the abbreviation for Guild Wars Eye of the North is G.W.E.N. New mini-games, new lands to explore, new reasons to stay home sick....
