Been a while since we posted anything on this site, so wanted to let everyone know that we are still here and still attempting to make this concept a reality. Today we are launching a campaign to get as many people following us on Facebook as we can. We want to show the skeptics out there just how many people would love to see a concept like this become a reality. Please get as many people as you can to friend us on Facebook. We promise not to send out any SPAM – maybe just some excited news every now and then. Thanks a lot for visiting and as always, we are open to comments and suggestions, sorry we don’t allow any complaints.

January 26th Presentation

On Tuesday, January 26th, 2010, I’ll be presenting our concept vision for the redevelopment of the Portland Memorial Coliseum and Rose Quarter to include the Portland Action Sports Complex and Resort. The presentations will be held at Memorial Coliseum from 5-9 PM. The doors open at 5:00pm and presentations start at 6:00pm. Adam has been granted one of the longer 5 minute presentations, however at this time we do not know at exactly what time it will take place. During the 5-9 time period, the public will have the chance to walk around and see many of the 95 proposals that have been made, including ours.

If you support our proposal, please come to our presentation and voice your support. We will be providing additional people that you can contact over the next few days as the Mayor, our Commissioners, the Stakeholder Advisory Committee, and PDC reduce the number of submissions to only a small handful that will be asked to submit more detailed proposals.

Finally got the site completed tonight. Well, a web page is never completed, but at least I have added enough information that I feel comfortable putting it live. With less than a week to go before the presentation, I wanted to ask everyone to help out to spread the word about this concept. This is the future for Action Sports and will easily become THE go to destination in the State of Oregon. Please leave a comment, email, or call me with support and suggestions, and gather as many people as you can and RSVP to the public presentation on January 26th.

Thanks for visiting this site. I am very excited about the opportunity to implement the world’s first Action Sports Themed Resort here in Portland. I have put this site up to keep help get the word out. It is far from complete but should be enough info to get everyone excited. Please spread the word and point people to this site. As development progresses, I will update this section as necessary to keep everyone in the loop. I need your support, so please come to the meeting on the 26th at the Rose Garden and let the committee know that this is the best option for the space.
