It seems that everywhere we go we just cannot escape the neon trend. Be it a neon bag, neon shoes or any other form of neon accessories. As we can never resist getting something so wonderfully bright, we decided to bring in just for you guys this amazingly bright neon coral chiffon skirt! The skirt comes with your basic elastic waist, half lined with black lining to provide contrast & adequate coverage and in the bright neon coral shade you will ever see! Sadly, as the skirt is really super bright, what you see on screen is no where as bright as what the skirt will be! Love it!

Airhostess.

I’d like to call this the flight attendant dress, because for some reason the entire look just spells airhostess. I don’t know if it’s the fun colours coupled with dark denim shoulders or the dark denim wide belt under a skinny gold buckle white belt. Whatever it is, this dress is just way too adorable to give it a miss! If you’re petite, the length might be long enough for you to even wear it to work! Both the denim & skinny white belt comes separate so you can always opt to wear the dress either alone or just with either one of the belts.

Layla.

We all love the asymmetrical skirt trend! But there are just those days where you just roll out of bed and realise you’re already late for your meet up with your friends! What I do like about this dress is the fact that because the top is made of cotton, it’s incredibly stretchy & comfy! We know knit bikinis aren’t quite what you see around, but we couldn’t resist as they came in such adorable hand knitted prints! Summer is just around the corner, and while our weather has been rather erratic lately we shouldn’t let it get us down by brightening it up with these gorgeous skirts! Available in 4 delicious sweet candy shades, we bring you this incredibly basic highwaist knee length skirt. Aside from the fabulously fun colours it comes in, we’re also greatly in love with how we can wear this skirt in various directions! The skirt comes with a standard small slit & a functional zipper, adjust the zipper to either side of your hip & wear the slit on the front or back, or if you prefer to have your slits at the side, just turn the skirt around and wear the zipper in front or behind.

I don’t know what it is about this dress, but it seems that the moment I put it on it somehow manages to give the illusion of an instantly slimmer me! I can’t quite tell if it’s from the strategically placed lines all across the dress, the perfectly chosen contrast shades to go on each dress or the utterly seamless way the dress just fits to your body. A simple dress that comes with an incredibly basic U-neckline on the front, and a slightly deeper U-back, a functional exposed gold zipper on the back.

Bits of Black

Nothing says staple like black. Black to me is one of the most universally versatile colours. While white adds a pure & clean appearance to an outfit, there’s something about black that’s mysterious & incredibly enticing. Plus, it’s the most slimming of the two! ;)

Naked Back.

There’s nothing we like more than flaunting our backs. It detracts from any waist issues you might have and lends just the perfect touch of sexiness to any outfit. Cut outs are seriously still all the rage and when we saw this particular dress, we quite frankly fell for it. We love the high neckline at the front that looks incredibly modest, but with a hint of skin at the side of the waist that slowly leads the eye to the superbly cut out back. The buttons at the top & exposed zipper at the back are fully functional for your convenience.

Ms. Moustache.

I don’t know about you guys, but I personally find that the design just under the bust area looks like a moustache to me! Which really is a rather interesting way to highlight & enhance the bust area. The curved in lines on the front side of the body projects the illusion of a slim hourglass figure, while the lines along the back further adds to the illusion by flaring out at the bottom and coming up real slim at the back of the waist. Made of thick quality cotton, comes padded at the bust, with a hidden side zipper & a small slit at the back.

Definitely the most modest of the 3 dresses, but we’ve gotta love that lace detail at the hem of the dress! A basic black dress with sheer long sleeves and a sexy short length with a front that has a lovely sweetheart neckline & covered with intricate bold lace details that are just too stunning for words! We love how the dress has incredibly modest long sleeves & a sexy short hemline coupled with it’s lace details at the hem adding a touch of femininity.
Please note that the bottom of the hemlines, they are all cut unevenly so if you see a few uneven ends, that’s normal.

Wheeeee! Labour’s Day is tomorrow so kick start it with a little retail therapy! This time around we’ve got some pretty printed tank dresses, cool casual off shoulder tops as well as a highwaist stripe skirt.

Aztec.

A pretty simple tank top dress, but I find that you can never have too many of these! A tank dress can be worn alone as a simple mini dress or pair a bottom with it to turn it into a simple printed tank or throw on an oversized top to just showcase it as a skirt. What really made it for us with this dress is it’s funky prints! We love the simple floral designs as well as the funky Aztec like prints!

If you’re a follower on our Facebook, you’ll know that we made a little mental note to ourselves regarding Indian food, ice-creams & zips. We love our oversized tops! There’s just no way around it. We love them because they’re incredibly comfortable and are the perfect lazy day tops! A simple strappy flared cropped top that comes with 2 layers and one layer is shorter than the other. The ones in pastel pink & yellow come with a shorter white layer for you to turn it over & wear it with either the coloured longer layer in front for an overall solid look, or wear the shorter white layer in front for a instant duo-tone look. Let’s Hold Hands

Things that go hand in hand perfectly. Basic string triangle bikinis and funky printed tank tops are always the best of friends. It doesn’t matter if you’re not heading out to the beach or the pool. A bikini is a great replacements for days where you just don’t wanna deal with any wires under your bust and just be absolutely lazy.

And we didn’t just get it in basic black & white, when we’re out at the beach we like to let our bikinis do the talking and as such we brought these babies in the brightest colours of the season! While we are rabid about matching our clothes, once in awhile it’s always super fun to wear bright contrasting colours!

Goodbye Monday Blues

Monday mornings are never easy. Especially when you’ve had a nice long relaxing weekend, pulling yourself up from bed can be quite a challenge. Which is why, for a little pick me up I would find that a little shopping will ease the transition from play to work. Just something small to perk up your mood and get you going for the rest of the week.

It seems that the cut out trend is not going anywhere & is definitely here to stay. While we’ve seen quite a number of ones that are cut out at the back, here’s one that’s selectively cut out just under the shoulders. The back of this dress is incredibly simple to let the attention be drawn to the front. Simple thick straps design with a bold criss-cross X across the bust and a simple black skirt makes this dress lovely piece indeed.

As a huge fan of all things neon. As a huge fan of all things casual. As a huge fan of all things simple. When I first saw this time, what simply drew me to it was first of all, the super duper bright colours! As I have recently acquired a pair of neon jeans & a neon lace mini skirt. All I needed was a neon top to complete my dream of becoming a highlighter pen. Naturally, when I saw these tank top colours, I knew I just had to have them! Sorbets, Slits & Lattice

Hey guys! First of all, HAPPY APRIL’S FOOL! Did you manage to fool anyone? Or did you get fooled today? Anyhow, moving along… for this Sunday’s post we brought in a bunch of pretty pieces! A sorbet printed shift dress, a sexy double mid-thigh front slit chiffon skirt & a cutout shoulder lattice bodycon dress.

Sorbet Shift.

A wonderfully simple dress with a typical round neckline, a sleeveless cut and a sexy mid-thigh length painted in delicious sorbet shades, this dress is insanely pretty! The dress itself is cut rather loose, so paired with 2 plain black ribbons on the side, you can opt to give yourself the illusion of a wonderful hourglass figure by bringing the 2 strings & tying it at the back or bring it up front. This I would say is the perfect dress for days you wanna look pretty but you just can’t be bothered with struggling into a tight dress.

While we were attempting to find a really pretty asymmetrical chiffon skirt, we sadly couldn’t but instead we thought that this would be a wonderful substitute instead. Glamorously highwaisted with 2 sexy slits down the front, this dress spells legs, legs, legs! So pull on your skyscraper boots & show off those legs! Skirt comes with a hidden side zipper and a short inner lining. The cutting of the waist band might be a little small, so you might find that it’ll be easier to pull the skirt on from the top.

Intricate Lattice.

As a cut, the bodycon dress is one of the most flattering, it hugs at all the right places and will flatter just about anyone. What we absolutely love about this dress is it’s simple sweetheart neckline, it’s simple fitted cut and the wonderfully intricate laser cut details across the shoulders. The cut outs actually reminds me of beautiful stained glass, well minus the glass anyway. Hi Halter.

While I am not a person who actually goes out partying anymore, I do always miss it when I see a sexy sultry dress like this that is begging me to wear it out! I absolutely LOVE the simple halter neck design of this dress. Absolutely no buttons, no tying you just slip it on, slide your feet into a pair of killer heels and you’re all set for the night out! The front of the dress comes slightly toga cut, with one side being higher than the other and comes with lovely zigzag patterns.

Raw Edges.

Another simple dress to compliment the one above. While the one above is effortlessly sexy, this dress is a little more work appropriate we would like to think. A dress that comes with a Peter Pan collar, mesh shoulders & back, an exposed black & gold zipper and really pretty floral brocade all over. Why how could we possibly resist? While it’s not quite as figure hugging as Mesh Webs, we do like how that makes the dress a little more conservative and might even be possible for office wear. Back in 2010.
Gosh, this dress was so long ago! But still so pretty! Would have gladly kept one for myself, but it was a tad too short for my liking. It was alright for photoshoots, but not so for daily wear because as soon as the wind blows… WOOOSH! Bad things happen.

Pretty Little Florals.

While the previous dress was sheer at the top, this one is lined both at the top & bottom so there won’t be any worry for it being sheer. However, do keep your undies in nude/neutral shades just to be safe anyways. Where there’s sunlight, things might shine through. This simple round neck dress comes with capsleeves to hide our upper arm flab and a basic elastic waist that flares prettily into a cute skirt. Definitely a keeper for those breezy floral days.

Neon in the sun

As a great fan of the whole sun, sea, sand combo, I naturally cannot resist bringing in brightly coloured cheerful bikinis! I am sadly the kind of person who has a drawer full of bikinis but can never resist giving in & buying more! Especially when they are readily available in such bright happy colours that always instantly brightens up my day! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous dress! The dress is incredibly tight fitting, and just like the dress before this dress comes with an inverted V hem to further enhance and lengthen your legs. We absolutely love the design on the dress, from the fun contrast of colours, the criss-crossed straps that extends and run all the way down to the bottom of the dress, giving an illusion of a sexy hourglass figure, to the edgy X at the back and single thick bold line at the back of the dress. Definitely not a dress to be eating in, but dang wear it to parties and you’ll be the star of the night!
