It's very awkward to witness, and one almost feels inclined to inform the violator of such an obvious rule to pull his pants up; of course, this is can only be done after both individuals are done peeing.

Bar hopping is something I love to do because I hate to be in the same place the whole night. It adds a new element to going out allowing you to meet more people, hear new music, and just be in a different environment. Who wants to stay in the same place drinking for 4 hours? This is my first post and I figured it would be very suiting given my user name and the numerous mentions of urinal manners. I found this video while surfing YouTube.

These guys had the right idea for a student film. Why not make a music video about the protocol of urinals?

The guys bring up very good points and I think the most common ones every guy should know, with a nice little tune to go with it.

All guys know the rule, if your standing at the urinal....eyes forward. There is to be no looking around. It is something we learn instinctively when were little (at least no one ever told me the rule. I just knew).

Some guys take this extremely seriously. A guy in New Zealand actually punched a guy, not once but twice in a Pub's bathroom for not following "Urinal Etiquette." This actually went to court!

What if you created a urinal in which you could draw with your urine and have it show up on the screen?

Public bathrooms have got to be the least decorated and probably the most boring place to have to go. Most places don't take much time to decorate or try new things with a bathroom due to the fear of change or lack of attention. When you think about it, a place of business isn't really going to be concerned with the bathroom because it doesn't bring in the money.

I work at a resort In Paradise Valley. I was going to the bathroom at our employee restroom. I entered and was drainging when I noticed a bud light cap on the toilet. I thought it was kinda random. I pushed the thought out of my head, I finish and move to wash my hands. I go to throw the paper towels in the trash can, where I notive an empty beer bottle. Now I know that there could be a one in a million that the two were put there seperatly. I want to know what was someone thinking? Did they need a cold one while they were taking a leak?

A Truly Desperate Situation

Man--I've got to say that when your obligations and the will of nature conflict, nothing but bad news will come of it. Today I was stuck in a one hour meeting; about 1/2 way through, I had to shit like no one's business. So, the problem is I can't leave. I'm stuck and must wait. Secondly, I was on the busiest floor where there are only two urinals and one stall. I was resorted, after holding a shit for 1/2 an hour, to sprint up the stairs to the next floor to:

1. Have access to a restroom.

2. Have some level of privacy to rid myself of the exposive shits.

First off how many times a day do you think you go to the restroom to pee? 4 to 6 or are you the ones that hit the head every hour to two hours?

Does anyone love to pee in public bathrooms? How long to do you take to pee in a public restroom? Is it different then at your home? I would say i would take a pretty short time in the restroom regardless of which bathroom I am in.

Average length in peeing time? Ever think about it or time it like 5 Mississippi's. Something around 5 to 10 sec, hitting the high times when you have a real full bladder.

A Unisex interesting idea; how do you think people will handle this? Not a bathroom with a toilet anyone can go in a restroom set up with stalls and urinals that all sexes go in a use.

no shit there i was, my buddies and i were on our way home from the bar. we got a hotel room just a few blocks away from where we were partying at so we were walkin it home well i just had to take a leak so i found some corprat center where they had some pretty big ass bushes out front so that is where i decided to do my busness. about mid stream the toy cop that patrolles them parts started yelling at me to get the fuck off of there property she grabes my arm and intantly i swing the stream around and piss all over her leg!!

If you have not read it, I seriously suggest you do because it is extremely interesting but weird at the same time.

A really quick breakdown is someone out there thought women should have a urinal, too. So guess what? They decided to design one. I personally think the effort of using it would be really hard, but what do I know, I am a guy.

Trough Urinals

Although this is a pervasive problem in Men Public Restrooms, the most experience I have with trough urinals is on highway rest stops. The trough urinal--man's greatest restroom fear--is the elongated urinal with separation, and therefore, no partitions. Men are required to stand shoulder to shoulder, and the worst, at the busiest times, two Men may be required to stand at the ends and face each other. This is indeed a terrible situation.

Could anybody testify to the hell that is trough urinals?? Really bad news, agreed?

A Little Disgusting, but Interesting

I don't know why this is the case, but whenever I drink coffee (which is about 2 to 3/day), about an hour later I have to pee. Coffee, as everyone knows, is full of caffeine which dehydrates the body. However, there is some sort of nastiness about it that is not true of other foods/drinks. The pee has a particular stench about it. It's quite odd really. Unfortunately, Starkbucks Coffee is the brand that is the worst in this regard, and this is the main brand that I have access to. Anybody else have this experience?

The only difference between women's and Men's bathrooms......urinals (right?).

I believe this to be true because it was the one signal that went through my brain to my feet that said...."not the right bathroom".

To help explain:

I was in this dark (very dark) casual bar, which was also very crowded at the time. I headed to the restroom as usual by weaving in and out of the people. Finally, made it to the hallway where the restrooms were located. Now, this was not the first time at the bar, but it also is not a regular place for me.
