It is incredible to me the way people engineer some of the restroom doors. You can either have a door that swings out or one that swings in (there are rare occasions that is does both).

Men's or Women's if your going to have sex?

Since a lot of people like the thrill of having sex in public places and the restroom is usually on the list, which bathroom is the better choice? Men's or Women's?

Or does it even matter and you just go with the moment?

Bet you never even considered this question, but now I got you thinking didn't I?

A while back, perhaps back in October, a peer of the site, Beer Master, created a post describing a couple who hooked up in the bathroom. In this particular post, Beer master mentioned that it was not correct to hold up the line; in his words ,'don't block your peeing patron.'

I agree with this, the restroom line should not be held up, but hooking up in public is not always a bad thing. So my question:

When and where is this appropriate?

A Toilet That Indirectly Weighs How Much Your #2 Is

Yeah, that's right, you read the title correctly. There is actually a toilet out there that weighs how much #2 you get rid of. I happened to catch a glance at my fiances screen; she is a persistent blogger on http://www.theknot.com. During this brief glance I saw somebody title their post something about pooping (apparently, this is a common and persistent topic on this WEDDING blogging site).

I was listening to the radio one morning on the way into work and they were calling a man to see why he never call their friend back for a second date. The man said it was because she had taken a part of her muffin and coffee into the restroom and that was gross. He just couldn't get past it so he said good-bye and never called her. The way the woman explained it was, they were getting ready to go, her coffee had a lid and I believe she said the muffin was in a to-go bag, and he didn't offer to hold the stuff so she can pee so she just took it in there.

A Very Wierd Story

This is not a story of personal experience, but rather, is another's experience explained to me by father.

He told me a story of a guy simpling peeing at the urinal. This man, unfortunately, dropped a quarter into the urinal. However, given the small value of a quarter, he simply could not justify putting his hand into the urinal to retreive his quarter.

Recently I attended a wedding in Fountain Hills at the Copperwynd Resort. That bathroom was truly phenomenal. Upon walking in, and if required to wait, a Man was given the option to sit in a supple leather chair in a separate area removed from the restroom itself.

It was truly one of the classiest restroom I had ever been in. To corroborate an earlier post of mine, I mentioned that the restroom attendant (towel guy) was indeed not classy. This unbelievably classy restroom did not have an attendant--each man was given his deserved privacy.

What is with the Bathroom Attendant?

I have never understood the point of the Bathroom Attendant. For those of you unsure of what a bathroom attendant is..... it is someone who hands you the towel, helps wash your hands, sells you cologne, and hands you a mint. You can see this in Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolo with Rob Schneider (his dad).

Does anyone really need this? Do you even like having the bathroom attendant there? What really is the point?

I personally refuse to use a public restroom to do anything other then pee.

This goes for both sexes.

Many people have feelings of fear, disgust, or anxiety when using a public restroom. So people even go to extreme lengths to avoid them at all costs and wait until they get home.

What causes you or someone you know to not use a public restroom?

Why don't all men's rooms have partitions?

I think partitions are really important, personally, because I do like some sense of privacy. Is it just out of cost or laziness that places don't but the partitions up?

Is there any guy that wouldn't prefer the partition over nothing?

Trough Urinals-A Man's Worst Enemy?

To All Men:

There is one thing we must agree on--trough urinals are bad. Really bad. It makes little to no sense to have Men, who prefer to have a degree of space between them, line up shoulder-to-shoulder to piss into an elongated bowl. There are even worse situations that could arise with the trough urinal; imagine all X's are Men, and the series of dashes represent the trough:

I'm not one to have any crazy, disturbing, or otherwise hilarious story. Nonetheless, I do have theories about how things should be. This forum, as I see it, should serve as the journal of restroom behavioral law. We all know and use the public restroom because this is what we were taught to do when we were growing up, but have you ever considered the etiquette of the public restroom. No one ever talks about it, but we all instinctively follow certain rules, such as the urinal separation in the Men's restroom. Has anyone ever told you this rule? My guess is NO, but guys typically follow it.

Mommy and Daddy never told us much about the Public Restroom because they never discussed it either. All they told us was to use the Restroom, but we still learned the unwritten rules.....or did we.
