Exhibition: Strawalde's painting donated to PHT

Art Trove of Singapore has donated to Penang Heritage Trust a painting by the established German artist Strawalde. It will be up for auction and the reserve price is RM 150,000. In Singapore last year, a few paintings of his were sold at prices of more than 60,000 Euro.

Jabatan Warisan Negara has stated clearly during a meeting on 29 December 2011, that all swiftlet houses must move out of the UNESCO core & buffer zones of Melaka & george Town by the end of 2013. Penang & Melaka States have been requested to confirm numbers of swiftlet houses & work out the various phases of their removal plans.
