Just saw this a few minutes ago, uploaded it to this blog, 2 seconds later.. tested it.. wow, simple, and effective.

The plugin is called "Add to Facebook" and it adds a footer link to add the current post or page to the visitors Facebook Mini-Feed. While the plugin is activated a link will appear after the content of the post with the text “Share on Facebook” or the Facebook icon or both (see the end of this post for how I have it setup). Clicking this link will bring the user to the Facebook site. If the user isn’t logged in they will be prompted to do so. Once logged into Facebook the post will be added to the Mini-Feed of the account.

EzineArticles Autoposter: Free Wordpress plug-in

EzineArticles Autoposter automatically post articles related to topics/keywords of your choice from EzineArticles.com, on a predefined schedule.  It also provides controls for you to comply with EzineArticles.com’s TOS (e.g. no modification to the content and author’s links and posting no more than 25 articles per year).

The plug-in comes with checking to avoid posting duplicated article on your blog.

EzineArticles Autoposter allows you specify your keywords with searching criteria:

• Matching criteria: exact match, broad match, or match any words.
• Search field: in article title, body, author, keyword.
• EzineArticles.com category: all category, category and sub-category.

I just tested it with one of my test niche blogs on Stargate Continuum, and it works beautifully.

Clickbank Ad Feed – New Free WP Plugin – Released Today!

Clickbank does not have an RSS feed, but they do have an XML version of their products called the Clickbank Marketplace. Here is a super simple backend for importing this XML file and producing RSS feeds that will show these feeds on your blog as a widget. 

This kind plugin developer even allows us to use our own Affiliate ID (Unlike similar plugins I’ve seen) and rotates his affiliate ID randomly for his payment. You can choose the number of items, campaign tracking tag and keywords.

• Keywords are specified one per line and can include spaces. The software will use these keywords to search the title and description fields of the Clickbank product database. If not enough ads are found, it will fill the remaining slots with the most popular ads based on Clickbank’s popularity score.
• Ordering is done by Clickbank’s popularity score. There are plans to add the ability to sort based on commission amount, whether a product is recurring, or gravity.
• Affiliate ID is set in the widget itself. You can have multiple instances of the widget, so you can use different IDs on different sidebars. Note that the programmer’s ID is rotated through roughly 20% of the time.
• Campaign tracking tags are part of the Clickbank hoplink and can be specified in the widget options. I highly recommend using different values on different sidebars so you can track which ones are more profitable.
• Data updates are done once a day. Clickbank updates their marketplace XML file once a day, so there’s no point in doing it more frequently.
• Clickbank RSS feed access is coming shortly – this will allow you to use any RSS feed reader to include a Clickbank Ad Feed on your site.

Damn Sexy Bookmarks! New WP Plugin – Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, More

I love this new Social Bookmarking plugin released today over at the Official Wordpress Plugin Directory.

It’s based on the SexyBookmarks plugin from eight7teen.com but with the following additions:

• Customisable display order of bookmarks. 
• Uses WP Custom Fields to store the short URL for each post/page. This minimizes the need to make a remote request for a short URL each time the post or page is processed. 
• Fix to remove inline CSS when DamnSexyBookmarks is displayed in the feed.
• Added an option to hide or display DamnSexyBookmarks in feeds. 
• Added an option to hide “Sharing is Caring” or “Sharing is Sexy”. 

I quickly installed it on this blog (see end of post for "real" example), and although the config page looks a little screwy on my blog (nothing new since 2.7.1 – a lot of my fave plugins are a bit screwy looking in the backend lol) and the RSS option didn’t work for me (page not found when someone clicks on it), it looks awesome and it’s a keeper for now, and I finally have a better working "Twitter" ReTweet option (always wanted the RT to go to me when someone RT’d my urls) so that I could personally thank the retweeter :)

Tag Cloud Wordpress Plugins

I was on the hunt to find a Wordpress Plugin that could create a Tag Cloud like the one I saw on this site.

And thankfully a reader of this post (thanks @sob) found it for me, it’s called Tagnetic Poetry and you can download it from here.

Neat huh? Even though it’s only supported up to Wordpress 2.6 – it works fine on my blog (version 2.7.1). While I was hunting around, I found some other Tag Cloud Plugins and thought I’d post them here. 

Flash Tag Cloud

This is the most common "fancy" Tag Cloud that the blogs out there are using these days.
