Well folks, it's a fundraiser organized by the El Cajon Fire & Police departments, to include our very own La Mesa crews, with the goal to raise money for a... Well folks, it's a fundraiser organized by the El Cajon Fire & Police departments, to include our very own La Mesa crews, with the goal to raise money for a local boy, Caleb. Caleb suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is in need of a service dog "Curly."

Now, back to OctoberStash. Throughout the month of October "the crews" are participating in a moustache growing contest. They started the moustache growing October 1st and Its about halfway through the month. Which means they're ready to compare and start showing off their upper lip facial hairdos at Pete's Place this Tuesday. The final winner will be chosen October 25th, at Outback Steakhouse (visit the official OctoberStash website for more details).

All proceeds from entry fees, donations and merchandise sales will go toward purchasing "Curly".
