PGR presence has been requested for a benefit dinner for Cpl. Chris Bordoni who was seriously injured while on patrol in the Kajaki region of Afghanistan. Chris is in the San Antonio Military Medical Center in Texas beginning the long road to recovery. Doctors have told the family to expect Chris to be there for 4-5 years.

Mission Narrative:
Establish and stand a flag line at the entrance to the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Ithaca, NY.

The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested by the family of USAF Master Sargent Ralph V Scott, to participate in his Military Funeral Services.

10:00am at the funeral home
After the 1:00PM service we will escort to Vestal Hills Memorial Cemetery,Vestal NY (about a 4 mile escort). The weather in March can be just about anything from snow to spring like. Ralph loved to ride and one of his last requests was to have some bikes at his funeral. I will be riding, only if it is safe to do so. I live only a short distance away. If you choose to ride please take every precaution and dress accordingly.

Mission Narrative:
Master Sargent Ralph V. Scott is one of our "Greatest Generation" Heros. He served in WWII and Korea. He served in many branches including the US Air Force, the Army National Guard, The US Navy, and the US Navy Reserve. He fully retired from military service in 1982.

He also at one time rode a Shriner Edtion Harley and was very active as a Shriner. From what I gather he has very little family left. This is all the more reason we need to be his family on Saturday March 3 2012. Please make every effort to attend this hero's funeral. This was a very Good Man!
