Samsung is expecting to sell a whopping 10 million units of the Galaxy S4 next week. This is despite only being available last April.

According to The Korean Times, Shin Jong-kyun, Samsung Electronics co-CEO, told reporters in Seoul, “We are confident that we will pass more than 10 million sales of the S4 next week. It is selling much faster than the previous model S3.”

If 10 million units of the Galaxy S4 are sold next week, it would become the fastest-selling smartphone in the Korean tech giant’s history.

Comparing the sales of the Galaxy S3 to the Galaxy S4, Shin said, “Samsung spent 50 days to pass the 10 million sales mark for the S3. The S4 will be Samsung’s first ‘10 million seller’ device less than a month after its official debut.”

When asked about the “unbreakable display” of the Galaxy Note 3 all he would say was, “More time will be needed.”

Will Samsung hit the 10 million mark next week? Well, analysts seem to agree with Shin. Woody Oh, an SA analyst, said, “An efficient supply chain, sleek products and crisp marketing have been among the main drivers of Samsung’s impressive profitability.”

Neil Mawston, SA executive director, said, “We believe Samsung generates more revenue and profit from the Android platform than Google does.”

It certainly appears on track to hit Samsung’s targets of 10 million sales in its first month, and 80 million sales this year. However, there has recently been news that a few other versions of the Galaxy S4 will be released. These include the Galaxy S4 Mini, a waterproof Galaxy S4 Active and a camera orientated Galaxy S4 Zoom.

These handsets are set to hit the market in June, but recent news suggests that there is another version of the Galaxy S4 on the way. Unwired View has recently reported that a Google edition of the Galaxy S4 will also the market. The device will pack the same spec list as the standard version of the Galaxy S4, but will run the stock Android interface instead of the Nature UX interface used on the standard version.

The website reports that this device is unlikely to be as popular as the standard version of the Galaxy S4, and while it will appeal to some people who prefer the stock Android interface, it means that Samsung will be able it get Google updates as soon as they are rolled out, and will allow Google to boost its smartphones phones particular after reports that the Google Nexus line has been falling out of favour recent months. Visit us at PhonesLimited to compare Samsung Galaxy S4 deals and find the cheapest Samsung Galaxy S3 prices.

Interestingly, the Google edition of Samsung Galaxy S4 will be more expensive than the standard version, with a price tag of $649 (16 GB version) and will only be available in the U.S, via the Google Play store.

If this phone was released in the UK would you consider buying it, or would you opt for the standard version of the Galaxy S4? Have your say in the comments section.

Apple has rolled out iTunes 11.0.3.

So what’s new? According to Apple, the update brings “New library views.” It says, “iTunes now features simplified views of exactly what you want. Looking for an album? Click Music and that’s all you’ll see. Do the same for movies, TV shows, apps — and everything else. It’s browsing made more intuitive.”

Another is an “Expanded view.” Apple says, “Select one of your albums and now it will expand in place. That means you can see all the songs on the album, click Play, and keep right on browsing without having to click back to your library. You’ll also see In the Store recommendations for similar albums you’ll want to check out.”

The third is the “new MiniPlayer.” According to the Cupertino firm, “We squeezed more features into an even smaller MiniPlayer. Now you can click the Up Next button to see which songs are playing next. And if what you see isn’t what you’re in the mood for, you can search your collection and choose a different song — without having to open your library.”

There are also “bonus features.” Apple says, “Good recommendations are easy to come by, thanks to In the Store picks. Just select an album, artist, or genre you like, and iTunes will suggest similar music you might never have found on your own. Already know what you want to hear? The new Up Next feature in iTunes lets you select a song and easily queue it to play next. Or last.”

Aside from the new features, Apple boasts “a whole new look for the store.”

Speaking about its “all-new design,” Apple says, “The iTunes Store has been redesigned for your Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch, so it looks and works the same wherever you shop. Easy-to-browse shelves serve up popular music, movies, TV shows, and more. And all the features you know and love are even easier to get to. It’s the best kind of shopping — simple.”

You will now get to enjoy a “preview history.” Apple says, “Now when you preview a song or movie, it’s always easy to find again. Just click the Preview History button for a quick rundown of all the music, movies, and TV shows you’ve sampled. iCloud keeps your preview history up to date across all your devices. So if you preview a song on your iPhone when you’re out and about, it’ll be right there waiting for you when you want to hear it again — or buy it — on your computer at home.”

Apple says, “iCloud does even more.” It is now “easier to play.” According to Apple, “With iCloud, you can access your content on all your devices. And now, when you buy an album, song, movie, or TV show on any device, it’s instantly accessible in your iTunes library on your Mac or PC. Just double‑click to play. Or if you’re going offline — say, taking your notebook on a plane — click the new Download button and bring a copy with you.”

iCloud also “picks up where you left off.” Apple says, “Start a movie, TV show, podcast, iTunes U lesson, or audiobook on one device. Pause anytime, and you can pick it up later on another device. iCloud remembers right where you left off. It’s just smart that way.”

Are you now enjoying iTunes 11.0.3 on your iPhone or iPad? Let us know through a comment on our Facebook page.

It was previously reported that BBM would soon support Android and iOS. However, according to a Blackberry exec, it will not support the iPad, the iPad Mini, and Android tablets such as the Google Nexus 7.
Speaking to Trusted Reviews, Head of the BlackBerry Software Portfolio, Vivek Bhardwaj, said, “At this point it is iOS and Android, and that’s iOS phones running iOS 6 and higher.”

Bhardwaj added, “Smartphone is our real focus and again it comes back to what BBM is. If you look BBM and the engagement and the activity, it’s because it is mobile, because people are on the go.”

Talking about why the Blackberry Messenger will not support tablets, Bhardwaj said, “When you start looking at tablets, computers and other screens, the usage model changes and behaviour changes. For us right now the absolute focus is getting BBM onto smartphones.”

Although tablets will not be supported for now, Bhardwaj hinted that Smart TVs and desktops could support BBM. He said, “I think when you look at things like Smart TVs and desktops, those are definitely areas for exploration.”

The 50 billionth app was Say the Same Thing by Space Inch, LLC, which was downloaded by Brandon Ashmore from Mentor, Ohio who received a $10,000 App Store Gift Card to commemorate this historic milestone.”

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, said, “Apple would like to thank our incredible customers and developers for topping 50 billion apps downloaded. The App Store completely transformed how people use their mobile devices and created a thriving app ecosystem that has paid out over nine billion dollars to developers. We’re absolutely floored to cross this milestone in less than five years.”

Talking about the amount of apps in the App Store, Apple said, “The revolutionary App Store offers more than 850,000 apps to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users in 155 countries around the world, with more than 350,000 native iPad apps available. App Store customers can choose from an incredible range of apps in 23 categories, including newspapers and magazines offered in Newsstand, games, business, news, sports, health & fitness and travel.”

How many apps have you downloaded for your iPhone or iPad? Let us know through a comment on our Facebook page.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 was investigated on BBC’s Watchdog, after users complained only half of the 16GB storage was available to use. Samsung says it is looking into the issue.

Speaking to CNET UK, a spokesperson of the Korean tech giant said, “We appreciate this issue being raised and we will improve our communications. Also, we are reviewing the possibility to secure more memory space through further software optimisation.

“Samsung is committed to listening to our customers and responding to their needs as part of our innovation process.”

Earlier, Samsung said that the lack of space was needed to make way for the smartphone’s “more powerful features.”

Unlike the HTC One and the Apple iPhone 5, the Samsung Galaxy S4 sports a microSD slot that allows users to make use of up to 64GB of expandable memory. However, the phone only allows owners to store things like photos, music, and videos. Apps would still need to be installed in the handset’s on board memory. So if you’re planning to install the top games that consume around 1GB, it’s easy to fill up the internal memory.

32 and 64GB versions are available, but are yet to be offered in the UK. Furthermore, these versions are more expensive that the 16GB version, which will set you back £550.

Are you having problems with the on board memory of the Samsung Galaxy S4? Let us know through a comment on our Facebook page.

The rumoured Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition (a version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 that runs Android in vanilla form) is now official.

On the Android official blog, it announced, “Next month, we are adding a new Android device to the store to join our current lineup of Nexus phones and tablets. We’ve worked closely with Samsung to create a special Samsung Galaxy S4 exclusively for Google Play. It brings together cutting edge hardware from Samsung with Google’s latest software and services — including the user experience that ships with our popular Nexus devices. Starting June 26, it will be available with no contract for $649, supporting both T-Mobile and AT&T, with LTE.”

Sadly, it wasn’t mentioned if the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition would be landing in the UK or not. We’re hoping it does.

Are you wondering how many Samsung Galaxy S4s of HTC Ones are out there? Google is expecting the total of Android activations to hit 900 million by this year.

Speaking at Google I/O, head of Android and Chrome operations, Sundar Pichai, said that Android activations hit 400 million in 2012 and 100 million in 2011.

He said, “The momentum has been breathtaking since then.”

Last week, Canalys said that Android runs on around 60% of all smart devices shipped in Q1 2013. This includes handsets, tablets, and notebooks. iOS comes in second at 19%. Android dominates the smartphone market, but iOS is still the top dog in the tablet market. Analysts, say, however, that Android is catching up in the tablet market.

Back in April, Eric Schmidt, Google Executive Chairman, predicted 1 billion Android activations within six to nine months. He also predicted 2 billion Android smartphones to find their way in the hands of users in the next one to two years.

You may think that this wishful thinking, but, in April, over 750 million Android smartphones were being used on 320 network operators in 160 countries around the world, according to Schmidt. He also said that 1.5 million Android devices were being activated each and every day.

The Verge reports, “In advance of its keynote presentation at Google I/O 2013, Android 4.3 has been confirmed in a search listing on Google’s developer website. Mention of the next iteration of Google’s mobile operating system has since been removed (it was live just long enough to be cached here), but it’s a safe bet that we’ll see the next version of Android at today’s big event.

“Android 4.3 is still largely a mystery, but the update is expected to support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and the OpenGL for Embedded Systems 3.0 graphics specification. BLE would help conserve battery life on mobile devices that connect to peripherals like smartwatches and speakers, and OpenGL allows for advanced visual effects in games and graphics-intensive applications.”

Unfortunately, it hasn’t been mentioned when this update will be rolling out to your Android device.

Want to know when Android 4.3 will be available for your handset or tablet? We’ll keep you posted once we know more.

However, HTC’s latest flagship Android phone, the HTC One remains one of the most popular smartphone models on the market, enjoying consistently high demand in many markets.

However, the launch of the HTC One did not exactly go by the book. When it was released, it was widely reported that HTC was experiencing supply chain issues, with component shortages particularly affecting the phone’s 4 Ultrapixel camera. As a result, stocks of the phone were much lower than planned in many markets, with its release also being severely delayed. Even major networks and retailers reported that for several weeks, stocks of the phone were much lower than required. However, over the last few weeks HTC has managed to address the majority of supply chain and production issues. In fact, Android Authority has recently reported that production of the HTC One is set to increase, and even double by the end of the month.

Obviously, it is hardly a secret that the Taiwan based manufacturer has been somewhat relying on the success of the HTC One to turn around its financial performance. For months, HTC has been struggling to compete with rival manufacturers like Samsung and Apple, resulting in a steep decline in both market share and revenues, but luckily sales of the HTC One have remained consistently strong. Visit our website for the best HTC One deals and HTC One X+ contracts.

The phone is arguably the most impressive offering to date from the manufacturer. Its spec list boasts key features such as a 4.7 inch display with a high definition resolution of 1080p, 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, 4 Ultrapixel camera, Android Jellybean OS and HTC Sense 5.0 interface. The phone also boasts an aluminium casing making it both stylish option, and much more durable than many competing plastic handsets.

Although the HTC One is unlikely to see the same levels of success as competing devices like the Samsung Galaxy S4, it is anticipated that the handset will sell several million units this year, so it can hopefully turn around the fortunes of the company.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has now been on the market for several weeks. As expected, the device has quickly proven to be a popular phone, following in the footsteps of its 2012 predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S3.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 was Samsung’s flagship smartphone of 2012, and the biggest selling smartphone model of the year. The device was responsible for some record breaking sales figures for the company. For example, it took just 50 days for the Galaxy S3 to sell its first 10 million units. However, it looks like the Galaxy S4 is set to break this record in a matter of days. Android Authority has recently reported that Samsung executives have stated that the Galaxy S4 is likely to reach 10 million sales by the end of next week. Of course, it was recently reported that the Galaxy S4 had sold 6 million units after just 14 days on the market, so it certainly looks on track to break this record.

Additionally, the Galaxy S3 hit the headlines last year after being on the market for just 100 days following its the release. In this time, the handset had clocked up 20 million sales. Of course, with the Galaxy S4 likely to increase in popularity, it looks like it will also break this record set by its predecessor. Currently, between 40 million and 60 million Galaxy S3 handsets are believed to have been sold, with 30 million sold in 2012 alone. If the Samsung Galaxy S4 can keep up its current rate of sales, Samsung looks well on track to achieve its target of 80 million sales this year. Visit our website for the cheapest Samsung Galaxy S4 and best Samsung Galaxy S3 contracts.

During the next few weeks, we can expect plenty more updates regarding the sales figures achieved by the Galaxy S4, so we will be sure to report back with the latest developments.

As expected, the device has instantly become a bestseller, following in the footsteps of its 2012 predecessor, the Galaxy S3. In fact, after just two weeks on the market, Samsung reported that six million Galaxy S4 handsets have been sold.

As you may expect, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is the most advanced offering to date from the South Korean manufacturer, and one of the most impressive smartphones ever to have been released. The device packs plenty of high-end features, including a 4.99 inch 1080p display, 13 megapixel camera, Android Jellybean operating system, octa/quad-core processor and a suite of Samsung software applications.

Three variants of the Galaxy S4 are available with different storage. The device is offered in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB options, but all have a microSD slot as well, meaning a memory card of up to 64 GB can be used. Unfortunately though, a number of users have complained that the 16 GB model in particular has far less storage than advertised. Apparently, the reason for this is that some of Samsung’s software features such as S-Health, Smart Pause, Smart Scroll and Smart Stay actually use up some of the storage which was meant to be available for users to store their files. In the case of the 16 GB model, this leaves users with less than 9 GB of available storage capacity. Visit us at PhonesLimited to find the best Samsung Galaxy S4 deals and cheap Samsung Galaxy Note 2 contracts.

When the issue was first raised, Samsung brushed it aside and simply suggests that users buy a microSD slot for more storage. Of course, this will mean that users will have to spend more money after buying the already expensive handset, so most people were not satisfied with the response.

Phones Review has recently reported that as a result, Samsung has once again addressed the issue. Apparently, a software update will be rolled out to affected handsets which aims to free up some of the internal storage. Unfortunately, Samsung has not given a timeframe for the update, but it is likely that it will be rolled out in the coming weeks. We will be sure to report back if we hear of any updates regarding the expected time frame of the software update.

Have you had this problem with your Galaxy S4, or has this news led you to choose a different phone altogether? Leave a comment to let us know what you think.

In the mobile phone industry, Samsung is continuing to hit the headlines due to the recent launch of its latest flagship Android phone, the Galaxy S4. This device has been one of the most eagerly anticipated and talked about smartphone models of the last few months, but the company is of course planning to launch a number of other devices throughout the year.

For example, back in April Samsung announced two new devices in its new Galaxy Mega range. These phones are the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and the Galaxy Mega 6.3, with their titles referring to the measurements of their touch screens. The devices are essentially mid range smartphones, with their huge touch screens bigger than even Samsung’s Galaxy Note phablet series.

After the devices were announced back in April, it was expected that they would be released at some point in May in most European markets. However, according to Phones Review this has not been the case, and the launch of these devices has been delayed in a number of markets, including the UK. The website reports that notable UK retailer Carphone Warehouse has now delayed the release of the Galaxy Mega devices until July. Visit us at PhonesLimited for the best Samsung Galaxy S4 contracts and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 deals.

Unfortunately, Samsung has not commented on the reason for the delay. However, the huge demand for its new Galaxy S4 flagship model is likely to be a reason. Of course, the Galaxy S4 is expected to be the biggest selling smartphone model of the year, and it has already clocked up more than six million sales during its first two weeks on the market. With an overall target of 80 million sales in 2013 alone, Samsung also has to commit much of its manufacturing, distribution and marketing efforts to the device. Given the fact that the Galaxy S4 carries a premium price tag, it will give the company an opportunity to clock up greater profits so it makes sense to concentrate on this device before cheaper models.

As usual, we will be sure to keep you posted if we hear of any updates regarding the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 in the UK.

The device remains one of the most popular smartphones on the market and has helped Samsung become a market leader in the phablet niche, which continues to grow in popularity.

Thanks to its 5.5 inch super AMOLED display, 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, 8 megapixel camera, Android Jellybean operating system and S-Pen stylus, it is easy to see why the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is such a popular and versatile smartphone. After being on the market for just a month, it was reported that the device had sold several million units.

Of course, the South Korea based manufacturer continues to hit headlines due to its recently launched Galaxy S4. However, Samsung is also gearing up for a number of other smartphone models in 2013. Phones Review has recently reported that Samsung executives have confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be unveiled at the IFA event in Berlin, Germany which kicks off on September 2nd. Contrary to rumours regarding its screen size, it was also confirmed that the device will come with a 5.9 inch OLED display.

Furthermore, it has recently been rumoured that the Galaxy Note 3 will be the first high-end Samsung device to sport an aluminium casing. Of course, it is easy to see why this was expected, given the success of metal smartphones such as the HTC One and Apple iPhone 5. However, it turns out that this will not be the case, and it will feature a plastic casing and the same design to the Galaxy S4, of course with slightly larger dimensions due to its larger touchscreen. Visit us at PhonesLimited for cheap Samsung Galaxy Note 2 contracts and Samsung Galaxy S4 offers.

Are you disappointed that the Galaxy Note 3 will come with a plastic casing? Let us know you think by leaving a comment.

After counting down for the last few weeks, Apple has finally achieved its 50 billionth download from the AppStore. The event took place last week, with the customer who performed the 50 billionth download awarded with a gift card for the AppStore, worth $10,000.

The AppStore remains one of Apple’s most commonly used and best known services, and leads the way in downloading mobile content. The AppStore was first launched back in 2008, shortly after the first iPhone model was released, changing the way we use our mobile phones forever. Of course, the AppStore is a very powerful service as it allows customers to browse hundreds of thousands of apps from numerous different categories, and instantly download them onto the phone. This means that consumers have virtually unlimited possibilities when it comes to customising their device and making it more versatile, productive and entertaining.

Of course, a number of competing operating systems now offer their own application download services, such as the Windows Phone marketplace for Microsoft’s mobile operating system, and the Google Play Store for use with Android devices. However, the AppStore is still widely regarded as the superior application download service out there, due to its vast choice of titles and the fact that each application is specifically optimised for Apple devices. Visit us at PhonesLimited for the best iPhone 5 contracts and cheap iPhone 4S deals.

Of course, Apple now has a number of product lines which can be used with the AppStore. These of course include the iPad and iPod Touch lines, but its iconic iPhone series has been responsible for the majority of downloads, with millions of people using the current iPhone 5 and previous models like the iPhone 4S on a daily basis.

Back in January, Apple announced that 40 billion apps had been downloaded from the AppStore, which demonstrates just how popular it is. Therefore, it would be safe to assume that by the end of the year, the AppStore will have reached 60 billion downloads.

These of course include the likes of the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S4, but one of the first to hit the market was the Sony Xperia Z. This device is arguably the most impressive offering to date from the Japan based manufacturer, and one of its most commercially successful in recent years, with 4 million sales currently under its belt.

Given its impressive specifications and stylish design, it is easy to see why the Sony Xperia Z has proven to be such a popular device. Among the key features of Sony’s flagship device are a 5 inch display with a 1080p resolution, 13 megapixel camera, Android Jellybean operating system and a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, so it certainly offers great performance. In addition, the phone also packs official IP55 an IP57 certifications, meaning it is dust proof, and can also be submerged in up to one metre of water for up to half an hour without sustaining any damage.

It appears that Sony is currently gearing up to launch another waterproof smartphone this year. Phones Review has recently reported on a device called the Sony Xperia ZR, which will come with similar credentials, but can apparently be submerged much longer, and is even designed to be able to capture high definition video footage while under water. This feature has never really been seen on a smartphone before, so is certain to make the handset stand out from the ground. Other features of the device are believed to include a 4.6 inch display, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 13 megapixel camera and Android Jellybean OS, so offers similar basic features to the current flagship model. Visit our website for the best Sony Xperia Z deals and cheap Sony Xperia T contracts.

Phones Review reports that the Sony Xperia ZR is set to be released in Q3 this year, and although details regarding its pricing and availability are currently scarce, we will be sure to report back when we hear of any developments.

Although the Galaxy S4 is likely to remain the best selling smartphone model of the year, it has recently been rumoured that Samsung will be launching a handful of other versions of the device throughout the year.

Recent rumours have suggested that three new versions of the Galaxy S4 will be launched. These include the Galaxy S4 Mini, which, like last year’s Galaxy S3 Mini will come with a lower price tag, smaller dimensions and a number of downgraded features from its flagship counterpart. A device called the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is also rumoured to be released, which will be a waterproof version of the flagship handset. Finally, a device called the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is tipped to be unveiled next month, which is believed to be a more camera orientated version of the Galaxy S4 with an upgraded 16 megapixel camera. Visit us at PhonesLimited for the cheapest Samsung Galaxy S4 deals and Samsung Galaxy Camera special offers.

It is currently unconfirmed whether the Galaxy S4 Zoom will have the same format as the Galaxy S4 with an enhanced camera, or if it will be an actual digital camera like the Samsung Galaxy Camera.

GSM Arena has recently reported that a Bangladesh based Samsung employee has posted a photo on his Google+ account, which is believed to have been taken with the Galaxy S4 Zoom. Next to the photo is a list of specifications for the camera used, and the model number of the device coincides with that of the Galaxy S4 Zoom when it was recently approved by the Bluetooth certification body. Details of the handset’s sensor were also posted next to the photo, and GSM Arena explains that it is too large to be a standard smartphone, but falls within the typical specifications of a full on digital camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is continuing to hit the headlines in the mobile phone business, after it was recently revealed that the South Korea based manufacturer’s latest flagship Android phone has clocked up more than 6 million sales during its first two weeks on the market. This news has further boosted confidence that the phone will become the biggest selling smartphone model this year.

Alongside the record breaking success achieved with its flagship Galaxy S range, Samsung remains a market leader in the phablet niche thanks to its innovative Galaxy Note handsets. Additionally, the company sells huge volumes of its more affordable Android phones, particularly in emerging markets as well as more established western markets.

Along with its enviable levels of commercial success, Samsung has recently achieved a breakthrough in the development of the next generation of mobile data downloads methods. Tech Radar has recently reported that Samsung has developed 5G connectivity. According to the website, this will be hundreds of times faster than 4G, which is currently the fastest means of downloading content over a cellular network connection.

Of course, 4G it is still a relatively new concept and is still not widely available in many countries. Furthermore, there are no commercially available devices which can utilise 5G connectivity, so we’re still a few years away from 5G connectivity being rolled out. However, Tech Radar reports that Samsung is aiming to make it widely available by 2020. Visit our website for the best Samsung Galaxy S4 contract offers and Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE deals.

The website reports that 5G could potentially be so fast, that a full length 3D or ultra high definition movie could be downloaded onto a mobile phone almost instantly, which is something that we have still not seen on commercially available smartphones which currently utilise 4G data download methods. Currently, 4G is the fastest means of downloading data on a mobile phone, with devices like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 2 perfectly placed to take advantage of this method.

By developing 5G, Samsung is sure to gain an even bigger edge over its competitors in the coming years.

The device is no doubt the most impressive offering to date from the Finland based manufacturer and one of its biggest commercial success stories in recent years. Strong sales of the device have really helped turn things around for the company after a widely publicised period of being unable to compete with rival manufacturers like Apple and Samsung, leading to financial difficulties for the company and a rapid decline in market share.

The combination of its commercial success and widespread critical acclaim has of course led to plenty of speculation about the next flagship model from Nokia. We recently reported that Nokia unveiled a new device called the Nokia Lumia 928 a few days ago, but the manufacturer has also unveiled another new model. The device is called the Nokia Lumia 925, and this is the handset which was previously rumoured as the codenamed Nokia Catwalk.

In terms of its specifications, it has several similarities to the Nokia Lumia 920, but with several important differences. Additionally, its design has also been tweaked, and although it shares a similar polycarbonate casing to the Lumia 920, it also boasts an aluminium frame giving it a premium feel and stylish design. Visit us at PhonesLimited to compare Nokia Lumia 928 offers and find cheap Nokia Lumia 820 deals.

The device boasts a 4.5 inch Nokia PureMotion display with Nokia’s ClearBlack Technology and a WXGA resolution. It packs a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Windows Phone 8 operating system, 16 GB internal storage and an 8 megapixel camera. The camera sees a number of upgrades over the Lumia 920 with the addition of new shooting modes such as motion blur, action shot the best shot modes. Additionally, Nokia claims that the phone captures virtually zero sound distortion when filming video footage.

The Nokia Lumia 925 is set to be released initially in Europe, followed by the US and China later in 2013. In the UK, it has been tipped for a release at some point in June, but we will be sure to report back when we hear of any updates.
