If you’re an HTC fan, it must be frustrating not coming across that much information about the HTC One M10 (codenamed Perfume), as the internet is filled with leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and LG G5. Today is different, as we have come across the first leaked photo of HTC’s next flagship.

HTC One M10?

The photo above claims to show the unannounced HTC One M9. Of course, there’s no way for us to verify if the device shows the real deal or not, so we advise you to take it with a pinch of salt. However, since the photo was leaked by serial leakster Evan Blass, a man renowned for leaking accurate information on yet to be announced devices, it’s possible that we are looking at the real deal.

Judging from what we’re seeing, the HTC One M10 features a new design and doesn’t look anything like the HTC One M9. According to Blass in a previous tweet, the HTC One M10 will look more like the mid-range HTC One A9, which is exactly what we’re seeing here.

Like the HTC One A9, the HTC One M10 features a rounded home button. According to past reports, the device’s home button will also serve as the device’s fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the photo lines up with what we’ve heard in the past, which is the omission of the HTC-branded black bar.

Here’s what we’ve learned so far:

According to past rumours, the HTC One M10 will feature a 5.1-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). It is said to feature a 12-megapixel UltraPixel rear-facing camera with laser auto focus. Under the hood is expected to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, coupled with 4 GB of RAM. On board is said to be 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage options. If true, this would mean that the HTC One M10 would no longer lag behind its rivals. The HTC One M9 was behind the competition, since it only featured a screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (Full HD) when most of its rivals feature Quad HD screens.

LK Ultra and Diztronic are the case makers responsible for the renders seen above. This isn’t the first time case renders of the LG G5 have been leaked, but this is the first time case renders show the rumoured dual camera setup of the device. They also show that LG has employed dual flash and laser auto focus.

Also shown is a circular cutout under the camera, which is believed to be for a fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint scanner is also the LG G5’s power button. The renders also line up with past rumours that claim LG has moved the volume rocker from the back to the side of the device. The LG G2, the LG G3, and the LG G4 all featured volume buttons on the back of the device.

Although a lot of what the renders show us mirror what past LG G5 rumours are claiming, the renders do not show us any signs of a special drawer-like mechanism that allows users to eject the battery from the metal chassis. This said, you should take these renders with a pinch of salt.

To recap, the LG G5 is rumoured to feature a dual camera setup, consisting of a 16-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor. This new rear-facing camera setup is said to allow users to change the field of focus after an image is captured. This camera also comes with 4K video recording support and optical image stabilisation. As for the LG G5’s front-facing camera, the device is said to feature an 8-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video chat. It is said to feature a reversible Type-C USB port. It is said to feature a 5.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). Under the hood is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, which is a new and more powerful quad-core processor with an Adreno 530 GPU to handle graphics. 4 GB of RAM is expected to be on board. Lastly, it is expected to be 8.2 mm-thick, which is slightly thinner than the LG G4.

Word on the street is LG will introduce its next flagship at MWC 2016 on the 21st of February in Barcelona, Spain. Well, that rumour is no longer a rumour as the South Korean phone maker has just made the unveiling of the LG G5 official.

LG G5 to be introduced at MWC 2016

LG Mobile made the announcement on its official Facebook page. In a GIF, the Korean firm says, “Come meet new friends on the playground” at the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona, Spain on the 21st of February. This was followed by “LG G5 day.” So there you go. It’s confirmed that the LG G5 will be unveiled at LG’s event on the said date.

Here’s the GIF:

<fb:post href="https://www.facebook.com/LGMobile/posts/1137735902904395" data-width="552"></fb:post>

Although the GIF doesn’t reveal what the LG G5 has to offer or what it will look like, we’ve learned from previous rumours that the LG G5 will feature a 5.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). Under the hood is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, which is a new and more powerful quad-core processor with an Adreno 530 GPU to handle graphics. 4 GB of RAM is expected to be on board. It is said to feature a reversible Type-C USB port. In the photography department, the device is said to feature a dual camera setup, consisting of a 16-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor. This new rear-facing camera setup is said to allow users to change the field of focus after an image is captured. As for the LG G5’s front-facing camera, the device is said to feature an 8-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video chat. Unlike the leather- or plastic-clad LG G4, the LG G5 is said to be clad in metal. Being clad in metal usually means that the device will feature a non-removable battery, but leaked renders suggest that LG will employ a drawer-like mechanism that gives users access to the battery. Lastly, it is expected to be 8.2 mm-thick, which is slightly thinner than the LG G4.

Recently, we came across leaked press renders that allegedly show the front of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Now, new renders have surfaced that show the backs of the two said devices.

Back renders

Evan Blass (popularly known as @evleaks on Twitter and the same person who leaked the front renders) is responsible for this latest leak. They show the rear of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, showing the devices’ logos, rear-facing cameras, flash, and sensors. Again, these renders suggest that Samsung did little to redesign the two, meaning they look a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

Here’s what we know so far:

Past reports have revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will sport a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD), while the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is said to sport a larger 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). The S7’s CPU will vary depending on the region. Units headed to the US and China will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, while international markets such as the UK will feature Samsung’s Exynos 8890 SoC. 4 GB of RAM is expected to be on board. In the photography department, word on the street is the S7 will feature Samsung’s new 12-megapixel BRITECELL rear-facing camera that is said to be more ideal in snapping photos and recording videos in low-light conditions. Despite the lower megapixel count, this larger 12-megapixel sensor is said to be an upgrade of the 16-megapixel snapper on board the Galaxy S6. The S7’s front-facing camera is said to be a 5-megapixel snapper. Unlike their predecessors The S7 and the S7 Edge are expected to feature microSD card slots for additional storage options. The two are said to be IP67-certified, meaning they will be dust- and water-resistant. This feature was not on board the S6 and S6 Edge. Lastly, the two are also said to feature a reversible USB Type-C port.

Samsung is scheduled to host its Unpacked 2016 event in Barcelona, Spain on the 21st of February. It says that “The Next Galaxy” will make its official debut at the event, and we’re betting Samsung was referring to the Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

Past reports claimed that the camera hump on board the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will be non-existent in the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, meaning the camera of the S7 and S7 Edge will be flush with the devices’ rear surface. A new tweet claims that there will still be a camera hump, but it won’t be as noticeable as before.

Less-visible camera hump

The diagram above was leaked by Steve Hemmerstoffer on Twitter. The image compares the camera hump of the Samsung Galaxy S7 to that on the Samsung Galaxy S6, revealing that the camera on board the Galaxy S7 will add an insignificant 0.8 mm to the thickness of the device, compared to the rather significant 1.7 mm camera hump of the Galaxy S6.

According to past reports, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD), while the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will feature a bigger 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). In the camera department, a new 12-megapixel BRITECELL rear-facing camera that is said to be more ideal in snapping photos and recording videos in low-light conditions and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for snapping selfies and video chat is expected to be on board. Despite the lower megapixel count, this larger 12-megapixel sensor is expected to be an upgrade of the 16-megapixel snapper of the Galaxy S6. The two are also said to feature a reversible USB Type-C port, which means faster charging, faster data charging, and never having to worry about plugging in the connector the wrong way ever again. The S7 and the S7 Edge are said to feature microSD card slots and IP67 certifications, which were not on board their predecessors. Under the hood is expected to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC for markets such as the US and China, and a Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC for international markets (including the UK). 4 GB of RAM is expected to be on board.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will make their official debut on the 21st of February at its Unpacked 2016 event in Barcelona, Spain.

Not long ago, serial leakster Evan Blass leaked what is claimed to be press renders of the unannounced Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Now, the Korean tech giant has released a new video trailer that teases “The Next Galaxy.”

“The Next Galaxy” video teaser

The video doesn’t show us the Samsung Galaxy S7 or the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, nor does it tease the devices’ design or feature. What it does mention is the date Samsung is planning to lift the lid on its next flagship. It lets us know that we’ll see the two on the 21st of February in Barcelona, Spain.

Here’s the video:

Here’s what we know so far:

The 21st of February is a few weeks away, but, if you can’t wait for Samsung’s official announcement, we’ve gathered a lot of information about the unannounced devices via past rumours. Judging from the devices’ leaked press renders, we can see that the two look a lot like their predecessors. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to sport a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, on the other hand, is expected to sport a bigger 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). Under the hood is expected to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC (US and China) and a Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC for international markets (including the UK). 4 GB of RAM is expected to be on board. In the photography department, the device is expected to feature Samsung’s new 12-megapixel BRITECELL rear-facing camera (although it offers a smaller megapixel count, it is said to be an upgrade to the 16-megapixel camera on board the Galaxy S6) that is more ideal in snapping photos and recording videos in low-light conditions and a ever-familiar 5-megapixel front-facing camera for snapping selfies and video chat. Unlike its predecessors, the S7 and the S7 Edge are said to feature microSD card slots and IP67 certifications, meaning they will be dust and water proof. The two are also said to feature a reversible USB Type-C port, which means faster charging, faster data charging, and never having to worry about plugging in the connector the wrong way ever again.

Looking forward to the official debut of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge? Let us know through a comment on our Phones LTD Facebook page.

This said, the internet is filled with leaks involving the two devices. In a new leak, the devices’ press renders give us a better look at the Korean tech giant’s next flagships.

Press renders leaked

The alleged press renders of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge were leaked by serial leakster Evan Blass (also known as @evleaks on Twitter). Like a lot of Blass’ leaks, they usually end up being the actual device, which could be the same case here.

Past Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge rumours:

5.1-inch flat Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD) for the Samsung Galaxy S7

5.5-inch curved Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD)

larger 12-megapixel BRITECELL rear-facing camera with f/1.7 aperture (an upgrade to the 16-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture of the Galaxy S6 despite the smaller megapixel count)

rear camera flush with the surface (no more camera hump)

5-megapixel front-facing camera for snapping selfies and video chat

microSD card slots

IP76 certification (dust- and water-resistant)

Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC for markets such as the US and China

Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC for international markets (version headed to the UK)

4 GB of RAM

32 GB and 64 GB internal storage options

128 GB option should be available in select markets

wireless charging for both devices

reversible USB Type-C port

2,600 mAh non-removable battery for the Samsung Galaxy S7

3,600 mAh non-removable battery for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

colour options include black, white, and gold

So when do we get to see the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge make their official debut? The Korean tech giant is expected to host its Unpacked 2016 event on the 21st of February in Barcelona Spain. This is the event Samsung is expected to lift the lid on its next flagship.

Earlier this January, we came across diagrams that allegedly show the unannounced LG G5. The diagrams showed that LG has moved the volume buttons from the back of the smartphone to the left side. Additionally, the renders showed a device with thinner bezels and a curved back. The curved back is believed to provide a better grip for users. Alleged case renders of LG G5 also surfaced re-confirming that the device’s volume buttons have been moved. They also reveal that the device will feature a fingerprint scanner under the rear-facing camera. Now, new 3D renders of the device have surfaced, giving us another look at the unannounced device.

Techconfigurations created the 3D renders above. The new renders are based on the leaked diagrams and case renders that surfaced in the past. According to the site, the LG G5 will feature a 5.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). The front-facing camera is said to be an 8-megapixel snapper that will take care of snapping selfies and video chat. The dual camera setup is said to consist of a 16-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor. This new rear-facing camera setup is said to allow users to change the field of focus after an image is captured. This camera also comes with 4K video recording support and optical image stabilisation. Under the hood is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, which is a new and more powerful quad-core processor with an Adreno 530 GPU to handle graphics, coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It is said to feature a reversible Type-C USB port. Lastly, it is expected to be 8.2 mm-thick, which is slightly thinner than the LG G4.

Like any unconfirmed report, take this information with a pinch of salt.

An LG press event will be taking place on the 21st of February (a day before Mobile World Congress 2016 kicks off in Barcelona, Spain) where the South Korean phone maker is expected to lift the lid on the LG G5. This is the same day and venue the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge are expected to make their official debut.

Case makers have been known to create accurate renders of unannounced devices sporting their cases. These renders are likely based on leaked CAD renders that leaked in the past. If the CAD renders show the real deal, the renders above should show what the Samsung Galaxy S7, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus actually look like.

We’ve learned from previous rumours that the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to feature a 5.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is said to feature a larger 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). The Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus is expected to feature an even larger 6-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). If you were disappointed that the S6 and S6 Edge did not come with IP67 certification, you’ll be happy to know that the S7 is rumoured to be dust and water proof. Bummed the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge did not feature a microSD card slot? If so, you’ll be happy to know that the S7 series is expected to feature the said feature. Its camera combo is said to consist of a new and larger 12-megapixel rear-facing camera that is more ideal in for snapping photos and recording videos in low-light conditions and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for snapping selfies and video chat. The S7 is said to rock two different CPUs, depending on the region. US and Chinese versions are said to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, while the international version is expected to feature the Exynos 8890 SoC under the hood. The S7 is expected to rock 4 GB of RAM.

Samsung is expected to officially announce their next flagship on the 21st of February in Barcelona, Spain and launch the devices in the 11th of March.

If you’re worried you won’t have enough to get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy S7 or the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, we’ve got potentially good news for you. Samsung is reportedly planning to launch a phone upgrade program that will make it easier for buyers to get their hands on Samsung’s upcoming flagship.

Samsung Galaxy S7 phone upgrade program

This new rumour comes from Korean-speaking ET News. According to the report, Samsung is getting ready to introduce a new phone upgrade program that will works similar to Apple’s iPhone upgrade plan. It is said to launch in March, which is the same time the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to hit shelves.

According to the report, the program will initially be only available in South Korea, but we’re guessing that it will be available in other markets soon after.

In the UK, iPhone buyers can get store credit if they turn in their older iPhones or iDevices. This store credit can be used to get a discount on the Apple iPhone 6S or the Apple iPhone 6S Plus. In the US, iPhone buyers can opt to get their hands on a new iPhone for a monthly fee and by trading in their older iPhone. It still remains a mystery on how exactly Samsung’s phone upgrade will work, but it’s likely that it will offer options similar to the options offered by Apple’s upgrade program.

Of course, since we can’t verify if this information is accurate, take it with a pinch of salt.

According to past reports, the S7 will feature a 5.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD), while the S7 Edge will feature a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). Its camera combo will consist of a new and larger 12-megapixel front-facing camera (rumoured to be more ideal for images capturing and video recording in low-light conditions) and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for snapping selfies and video chat. It will feature two different processors, depending on the market. The US and Chinese versions will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, while the international version (UK version) will feature the Exynos 8890 SoC under the hood. 4 GB of RAM is expected to be on board. Unlike its predecessor, it is said to feature a microSD card slot and have IP67-certification (dust and water proof). A USB Type-C connector and fingerprint scanner is expected to be on board.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge are expected to make their official debut on the 21st of March at Samsung’s Unpacked 2016 event in Barcelona, Spain. This is a day before Mobile World Congress 2016 kicks off in the country. The question is, when is the Korean tech giant planning to release their new flagship? A serial leakster may have the answer to this question.

March 11 release?

The serial leakster in question is Evan Blass (also known as @evleaks on Twitter). According to Blass, Samsung could release the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on the 11th of March, in the US at least. We still don’t know if this also applies to other markets, but we’re guessing it will arrive in the UK at around the same in the US.

Here’s the tweet:

Starting to look like a Friday, March 11th Galaxy release in the U.S.

— Evan Blass (@evleaks) January 22, 2016

We’ve learned from previous reports that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a 5.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD), while the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is expected to feature a larger 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). In the photography department, the S7 is expected to feature a new and larger 12-megapixel rear-facing camera that is more ideal in low-light conditions and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for snapping selfies and video chat. The S7 is expected to feature different processors depending on the market. For US and Chinese markets, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC is expected to be found under the hood. For international markets (including the UK), the Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC is expected to be found under the hood. 4 GB of RAM is expected to be on board. Unlike the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge, the S7 and S7 Edge are expected to sport a microSD card slot for additional storage options. The S7 is expected to be IP67-certified, which means it will be water and dust proof. Design-wise, the S7 is expected to offer the same glass and metal design just like its predecessor.

Zauba confrims screen sizes

The Zauba listing (screenshot above) was first spotted by Hungarian-speaking NapiDroid.hu. Zauba, India’s import-export database, has been the source of information on yet to be announced devices, since manufacturers send prototypes to India for testing.

The listing reveals that 2 units of the SM-G930R4 (believed to be a variant of the Samsung Galaxy S7) and 2 units of the SM-G935R4 (believed to be a variant of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge) have been sent to India “for testing.” It also confirms the devices’ screen sizes. It reveals that the S7 will measure 5.1 inches, while the S7 Edge will measure 5.5 inches.

Aside from the model numbers and screen sizes, the listing reveals that the IMEI numbers have been withheld and that two are valued at approximately £245. It’s a dead cert, however, that the two will be more expensive when they are available in stores.

Here’s what we’ve learned so far. Samsung is said to be planning to use two different processors depending on the market. Units headed to the US and China are said to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC, while the international version (version headed to the UK and everywhere else) will feature Samsung’s Exynos 8890 SoC. The S7 and S7 Edge are expected to rock 4 GB of RAM. In the photography department, the Korean tech giant’s next flagship is expected to feature a new and larger 12-megapixel rear-facing camera that is ideal for snapping photos and recording videos in low-light conditions and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for snapping selfies and video chat. Unlike the S6 and the S6 Edge, the S7 and S7 Edge are said to feature a microSD card slot for additional storage options. As for design, the two are said to look a lot like their predecessors.

So when do we get to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge? The two are expected to make their official debut on the 21st of February in Barcelona, Spain (a day before MWC 2016 kicks off), and launch soon after their unveiling.

In a recent report, we told you that Samsung Galaxy S7 with the Exynos 8890 SoC under the hood (international version and the version headed to the UK) with model number SM-G930F was listed on the AnTuTu benchmark site for testing. Now, another version of the S7 with the same processor passed through another benchmark database for testing.

Geekbench lists Samsung Galaxy S7 with Exynos 8890 SoC

The Geekbench3 result (shown above) was first spotted by Hungarian-speaking NapiDroid.hu. The listing reveals that another version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930W8) also features the Exynos 8890 SoC. Most of the versions of the S7 that have been benchmarked feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. This version is for the US and Chinese markets.

The Geekbench listing mirrors what has been revealed by the AnTuTu listing. It reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S7 with the Exynos 8890 SoC under the hood will also come with 4 GB of RAM. Geekbench also reveals that the S7 will run Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) out of the box, which was also revealed by AnTuTu.

Now let’s move on to how the Exynos 8890 SoC on board the Samsung Galaxy S7 performed. In the single-core test, it scored 1873, and 5946 in the multi-core test. It outperformed the Exynos 7420 on board the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which scored 1495 in the single-core test, and 5375 in the multi-core test.

Going back to AnTuTu’s findings, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is said to feature a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). In the photography department, the S7 is said to feature a larger 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for snapping selfies and video chat.

So when is Samsung planning to lift the lid on its next flagship? The common consensus is Samsung will officially unveil the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge at its Unpacked 2016 event, which kicks off in Barcelona, Spain on the 21st of February. This is a day before MWC 2016 kicks off in the country. LG is also expected to introduce the LG G5 on the 21st of February in Barcelona, Spain.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC on board (SM-G935A for US carrier AT&T) has reportedly passed through the AnTuTu benchmark site for testing. But what about the version with Samsung’s Exynos 8890 SoC? According to a new post on Weibo, this version has just passed through the benchmark site for testing.

Samsung Galaxy S7 with Exynos 8890 under the hood tested on AnTuTu

On AnTuTu‘s official Weibo account (translated to English above), the benchmark site announced that the version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 with the Exynos 8890 SoC has passed through their tests. Apart from revealing that the Exynos version of the S7 is being tested, the post reveals what we’ve already heard from past rumours. The benchmark reveals that the S7 will feature a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 (Quad HD). In the photography department, the S7 tested on AnTuTu features a new 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for snapping selfies and video chat. The device tested features 64 GB of internal storage. On board is 4 GB of RAM. Lastly, the device tested runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). We’d actually be surprised if ran anything lower that Android 6.0. The model number of the S7 tested on AnTuTu is “SM-G930F.” “F” stands for unlocked international versions. This is in line with what we’ve heard in the past, which is the international version of the Galaxy S7 will feature the Exynos 8890 SoC.

We’ve learned from past reports that the Galaxy S7 will feature a reversible Type-C USB port, which allows for faster data transfer, faster charging, and never having to worry about plugging in the cable the wrong way ever again. Reports also claim that the S7 will feature a microSD card slot, which was absent in last year’s S6 and S6 Edge. There are also reports that claim that the S7 will be water proof, unlike the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge.

Of course, since Samsung is yet to lift the lid on the Samsung Galaxy S7, take this with a pinch of salt.

So when do we get to see the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge make their official debut? The common consensus is Samsung will officially unveil their next flagship on the 21st of February in Barcelona, Spain, a day before MWC 2016 kicks off in the country.

The Samsung Galaxy S7, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and their LED View Cover cases have recently been spotted getting certified by the US FCC and Indonesia’s Postel. The listings show unannounced devices with model numbers “SM-G930” and “SM-G935,” which are believed to belong to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge respectively. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge bear the model numbers “SM-G920″ and SM-G925” respectively.

According to past rumours that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a 5.1-inch screen. As for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, past reports claimed that the device would feature a 5.5-inch screen, while a more recent report claimed that the device would feature a 5.1-inch curved screen. We’ve also recently learned that the two could be water proof, unlike the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. In the photography department, some reports claim that the S7 will feature Samsung’s new larger 12-megapixel sensor than the 16-megapixel sensor on board the Galaxy S6, while some reports claim that the S7 will feature Samsung’s new 20-megapixel BRITECELL sensor. The two are said to be more ideal in low-light conditions. Its front-facing camera is expected to be a 5-megapixel snapper. As far as design goes, the S7 will look a lot like its predecessor. Unlike the S6, the S7 is said to have a microSD card slot on board. Under the hood is expected to be two different processors, depending on the market. The US- and China-bound Galaxy S7 is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, while units of international markets such as the UK are expected to rock Samsung’s Exynos 8890 SoC. Both CPUs have allegedly done exceptionally well in various benchmark tests.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge are expected to make their official debut at Samsung’s Unpacked 2016 event, which kicks off on the 21st of February in Barcelona, Spain. The two are also said to be released on the same month.

Hungarian-speaking NapiDroid.hu is responsible for leaking the HTTP User Agent data shown above. The information shows an unannounced LG-made device with model number “LG-H830,” which is believed to be none other than the LG G5.

Although this information is unverified, it would make a lot of sense for the LG G5 to bear the “LG-H830” model number. After all, the LG G4’s model number is “LG-H810.”

The User Agent data also confirms that the LG G5 will run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box. We’d actually be surprised if it didn’t run the latest version of Android.

Past leaks have revealed that the LG G5 will be clad in metal, unlike the LG G4, which came with a leather back cover. The trade off with metal-clad devices is a non-removable battery. LG is said to have solved this with a new drawer-like mechanism that slides out of the chassis, allowing easy access to the device’s rumoured 2,800 mAh battery. The device is expected to feature a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD) and a secondary screen (resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels) just like that on the LG V10. The secondary screen will show notifications such as battery status, the weather, and the time. It will also display shortcuts that give quick access to apps. There are two types of cameras expected to found on the back of the LG G5 – one is a 16-megapixel sensor and the other will help snap 135-degree wide-angle photos. Laser auto focus, dual LED flash, and a fingerprint scanner is also expected to found on the back. As for the G5’s front-facing camera, the device is expected to feature an 8-megapixel sensor for snapping selfies and video chat. It is said to feature 32 GB of internal storage. Under the hood is expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with an Adreno 530 GPU to handle graphics, coupled with 3 GB of RAM.

LG has sent out invitations to a press event on the 21st of February in Barcelona, Spain. The LG G5 is expected to make its official debut at the press event. This is the same day the Samsung is expected to lift the lid on its new flagship the Galaxy S7.

Metal design with slide-out removable battery?

The renders above were created by CNet Korea‘s Matt Kim, which are “based upon a eyewitness testimony.” The renders mirror what we’ve been hearing in the past, which is a metal-clad LG G5.

We can also see changes in design. The LG G5 in the renders no longer features a rounded back and slightly curved design of the LG G4. Instead, it looks flat, thin, and comes with smoother edges. The volume buttons have also been moved from the back to the left side of the frame.

Apart from the changes in design, the LG G5 features a new way to access the battery. The problem with removable backs is that it isn’t ideal for metal construction. Reportedly, LG’s engineers tested various prototypes and came up with a drawer-like design that allows the LG G5 to be clad in metal and yet feature a removable battery. It did this by creating a slide-out mechanism for the battery. The drawer is also said to be more efficient in keeping out water and dust.

Although the renders above do make a lot of sense, we can’t verify if they show the real deal. This said, take them with a pinch of salt.

So far, we’ve learned from previous rumours that the LG G5 will feature a 5.3-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). It is also believed to feature Force Touch. A USB Type-C port is said to be on board, which allows faster data transfer, faster charging, and never having to worry about plugging in the cable the wrong way ever again. It is also said to feature a microSD card slot for additional storage options. The LG G5 is said to feature a dual rear-facing camera setup. The dual camera setup is said to consist of a 16-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera is said to be in charge of snapping selfies and video chat. Under the hood is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, coupled with 3 GB of RAM.

Do you think these renders show the unannounced LG G5? Let us know what you think through a comment on our Phones LTD Facebook page.

Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus to be announced next month?

Evan Blass who goes by the name of @evleaks on Twitter is responsible for leaking accurate information on yet to be announced devices. In his latest tweet, the leak master posted an image that shows the logos: “Samsung Galaxy S7,” “Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge,” and “Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus.”

According to past reports, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a 5.1-inch screen. As for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, past reports claimed that the device would feature a 5.5-inch screen, while a more recent report claimed that the device would feature a 5.1-inch curved screen. The screen size of the curved Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus still remains a mystery. There is another version of the S7 not mentioned in the list – the Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus. The device is said to feature a 6-inch flat screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus logos, are not the only clues dropped by the image. It also seems to show tiny water drops, which lines up with past reports that claim Samsung’s next flagship could be water resistant.

Sure, there’s no way of telling whether the image comes from Samsung or if it was Photoshopped. However, like most of the leaks by Blass, there is a huge possibility that image is genuine.

Past rumours have revealed that the Galaxy S7 will feature a microSD card slot unlike its predecessor. Both are said to be function better in low-light conditions. The Galaxy S7 headed to the US and China are said to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, while the international version (version headed to the UK) is said to feature Samsung’s Exynos 8890 SoC.

Past reports have revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a flat 5.2-inch screen, while the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will feature a curved 5.5-inch screen. This is different from the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which both sport 5.1-inch screens. A new listing on AnTuTu (first spotted on Chinese-speaking Weibo by French-speaking @NoWhereElseFR and renowned Samsung insider SamMobile) reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will feature a 5.1-inch screen.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with 5.1-inch screen and 12-megapixel camera?

Shown above is a screenshot from the AnTuTu benchmark site. It shows the unannounced “SM-G935A,” which is believed to be the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. This version features a 5.1-inch screen (not a 5.5-inch screen) and is headed to US carrier AT&T.

Although a smaller screen that the previously rumoured 5.5-inch screen, the resolution is the same at 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). The listing also reveals that the device rocks a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with an Adreno GPU under the hood, coupled with 4 GB of RAM. This isn’t surprising as the US and Chinese version is expected to feature the Snapdragon 820 CPU. The international version (version headed to the UK) is expected to feature the Samsung-made Exynos 8890 SoC.

Additionally, the listing reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge features a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera. This mirrors what we’ve been hearing in the past few months. Although this new sensor has a smaller megapixel count than the 16-megapixel sensor on board the Galaxy S6, is a 1/2″ sensor, which is a larger sensor S6’s camera. It is believed to be more ideal in low-light conditions.

Other rumours claim that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a new Samsung-made 20-megapixel RGBW-pixel Britecell camera. This new sensor is equally interesting as it is also said to come with improved light sensitivityand signal-to-noise ratio, thanks to the new RGBW pixel pattern.

Like any rumour, take this with a pinch of salt.

Only the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge are expected to make their official debut in Barcelona, Spain on the 21st of February. It is yet to be determined when the larger Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus will be officially unveiled.

Under the hood is a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor (chip-maker yet to be determined) that comes with support for 4G LTE connectivity, coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM. To keep the lights on, the device features a 2,300 mAh battery. Based on these specs, the LG K10 is not a high-end device. Note that the LG K10’s specs varies depending on the market.

Since LG has just unveiled the new LG K10 is new, you may be expecting the device to run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box. Sadly, it comes with Android 5.1 (Lollipop) pre-installed. We’re hoping the device gets updated to the latest version of Android in the coming months.

LG has also announced a new “quick view” protective case, which is specifically designed for the LG K10. The new case features a transparent edge that allows users to see notifications and answer calls without having to open the case. The accessory will be sold separately. Pricing is yet to be determined.
