Looking for a new Android tablet? Consider the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 that will work on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. The tablet is running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and is loaded with ways to watch videos on it including apps like YouTube, Netflix, and Samsung’s Media Hub. The tablet only has 8GB of memory on board -- not a lot if you want to save movies on it, but you can always add more storage space with an optional 64GB microSD card. In addition to working on Verizon’s 4G LTE network, it also has WiFi connectivity. For those who want to participate in video chats or take some pictures there’s a rear-facing 3.2-megapixel camera and front-facing VGA camera.

Looking for a cell phone with the latest technology? Check out the Samsung Galaxy S Lightray 4G available with MetroPCS service. The new smartphone runs Android 2.3, sports a 1GHz processor, and a spacious and crisp 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen. All of this will come in handy when using the Dyle mobile TV app that can be used to watch live TV found on your local TV stations. There's no need to worry about using 4G LTE data or finding a WiFi connection because the app actually provides mobile TV reception. The technology is fairly new so the service isn’t available everywhere. When you’re not watching TV on the phone, there’s also a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera for capturing pictures or shooting HD video.

This week T-Mobile announced two new members to the myTouch family that will be available in August. First up is the latest version of the T-Mobile myTouch that will feature a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, a new version (4.0) of the popular Genius Button, a 1.4GHz processor, work on the company’s 4G network, and run Android 2.3 (that's the Gingerbread OS). The T-Mobile myTouch Q will sport similar features, but it will also have a slide-out tactile QWERTY keyboard. There aren’t a lot of Android smartphones currently available that sport a slide-out keyboard, so the inclusion of one on the myTouch Q is a definite plus.

Verizon introduces the rugged Samsung Intensity III

The latest version in the Samsung Intensity line of cell phones is aptly named the Samsung Intensity III. The new model still sports both a numeric keypad and slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The phone also has a 2-megapixel camera, 2.4-inch QVGA screen, Bluetooth, the ability to share status updates on Facebook and Twitter, and a microSD slot that can accept up to a 32GB microSD card. This phone is rugged as well, built to meet Military Specifications 810F so it should do well in different temperatures, humidity, and high-dust areas.
