Nudist family resorts and beaches are quite common in Europe. They are often referred to as Naturist Clubs with a belief that people should be and feel totally unfettered by clothing. Nudist resorts and campgrounds are usually very private so that the members may be nude without being gawked at by outsiders. All nudist resorts have similar rules: guests are expected to divest themselves of clothing once they are registered; no improper or unacceptable sexual behavior is tolerated; body jewelry must be discreet; and photography is prohibited in public areas.

Many families around the world enjoy nudism, and finding a vacation resort that caters to their interests is not always easy.

If you’re looking for a completely different vacation idea this year, why not try a nudist holiday?

Visit a Nudist Resort or Beach

Visiting a nudist beach or resort can be a liberating and life-changing event or just a new way to enjoy time with your loved ones. But before you bare all, there are ground rules that you need to know so that you get the most out of the experience.

A nude beach is a beach where users are legally at liberty to be nude. Sometimes the terms clothing-optional beach or free beach are used. Nude bathing is one of the most common forms of nudity in public. As beaches are usually on public lands, any member of the public is entitled to use the facilities without membership of any movement or subscription to any philosophy. The use of the beach facilities is normally anonymous. Unlike a naturist resort or facility, there is normally no membership or vetting requirement for the use of a nude beach. The use of nude beach facilities is usually casual, not requiring pre-booking. Nude beaches may be official (legally-sanctioned), unofficial (tolerated by residents and law enforcement), or illegal.
