1st prize in each category gets $3,000 USD and a trip to Manchester, UK in November 2012. 2nd place in each category gets $1,500 USD and 3rd place gets a tablet personal computer.

Entrants must be between the ages of 16 and 35. Each participant can only submit one project in each category. By submitting a photograph, participants will immediately and automatically transfer all intellectual property rights of it to ICA. The full terms can be read here.

This contest has a photography, music and video category and are looking for entries that "that promote the principles of co-operation in a way attractive to young people to raise their awareness about the co-operative movement worldwide." For the photography category your entry must consist of a single digital photograph with a minimum resolution of 3 megapixels. Entries should be submitted using this online form.

Three winning artists will each receive $5,000 USD in prize money, as well as the opportunity to showcase their art at Art Dubai.

You must be over the age of 18. Works of art submitted to the prize must have been completed in the last 12 months. If you win, you must be willing to agree to assign, transfer and convey all rights to the Artwork to and all intellectual property rights attached to it.

Although this is called an Art Contest it does have a Photography section which is why we have listed it here as well as on Art Comps. To enter you must submit a piece of artwork that is either a Painting/Illustration, Photography/Digital Media or 3D (Sculpture, Glass, Ceramics). Your artwork should also fit into one of the themes which are Modernism, Sophistication or Opulence.

Open to everyone, whether you work in manufacturing or not. Entrants under the age of 18 need parental consent. No copyright is transferred in respect of any images entered.

Photo Contest Info:

This photo contest has 3 categories which are best photograph by an amateur photographer, professional photographer and a 14-19 year old photographer. Your photo should have the theme either "The heroes of modern UK manufacturing, person or team or places or processes their origin is based in the UK". Along with your photo, a narrative of up to 100 words to express why and or how the image portrays a hero of modern UK manufacturing is also required.
