I'm digging this quote from "Life of Pi". Though directed at the religious among us, take religion from it and it remains valid.

Here's the quote. Let me know what you think.

What I take from it:

  • Look to yourself, not others, to correct the worlds ills.
  • Defend the defenceless, not your deeply held doctrine of the way things should be.
  • Take action. Be the change you wish to see in this life. Don't stand back and lament the failure of others to do so.
