There is something amazing and wonderful about how even across cultures we can reach out to Jesus and he helps us and hears us. These dear Congolese kids where reaching out to Jesus asking Him to come into their lives. How marvelous. How beautiful.

Recently I visited this marvellous Abedare Country Club which is our local country club just round the corner. It is so so nice and it had this peacock there. It as a beauty. Not wild tho!

Congolese kid in fancy dress

I spotted this Kid in Bunia and thought he was rather interesting. He was dressed as a little African Dictator. Maybe not but it just looked quite funny as he was dead set on looking stern.

Africa has enough dictators and I hope ad pray that this lad doesn’t grow up to be like him. It’s interesting that many dictators are quite inspirational but totally wrong. Power is a dreadful thing.

The only hope for the nation of Congo is Jesus Christ and knowing him intimately.

The only hope for the world is Jesus who died for our sins.

Do you have hope in Jesus. If not as him to come into your heart.

This lad looks quite serious and pensive. I wonder what he is thinking. He was probably about 11 years old.

Life is tough out here for these guys but Gods grace is amazing and he provides.

Here we have some beautiful children gathering to hear about Jesus. They are so amazing and content with life.

It was pouring with rain and yet they still came out.

God loves the little Children. He says let them come to me.

African Children Can Smile

I have been in the Congo for the last month and it’s been amazing to see how the Lord works in marvellous ways. I have been struck by the amount of Children out here and think they are fantastic.
