a little announcement:

after much consideration, i have decided that i would move to blogsome.the main reason is i would like the site to be organized. this site is getting too messy.
on that note, i wouldn't be transfering all the photos here to the new site. too many photo. too much hard work. therefore, i will only transfer some of my favourites there. my applogies for the inconviences and many thanks for visiting.see you,there!

this image will be my 101th entries. boy, i can't believe it myself that i had actually posted up 100 images since january. i took this picture together with Wax Duck in Chee Cheung Kai (a night market in KL), somewhere near Chinese New Year. Wax duck is usually cook as Kiem Chai Boy (loosely translate as salty veggie duck). its a hokkien dish. my mother (hokkien) loves it. my father hates it. guess what? i love it. i think its because of i am half hokkien and originate from penang :)

i like old chinese shop. their shop is usually decorated with chinese wording (though, i can't read any of them). they find ingenious way to adverstise their shop - signboard, see Chinese Signboard and pillar (like the one here)

almost everyday, i have to go through the highway.almost everyday, i see the light.gurading the highway.lighting the way. talking about light. remind me about the 'human torch' in fantastic four. i watched the movie yesterday. my review - a dissapointing movie. perhaps people out there will disargee. to me, the acting is so plastic, just like mr.fantastic. verybad,indeed.

for the past few days, i notice this butterfly lingering outside my apartment. until tonight. it decided to stop inside my apartment. it is not a beautiful butterfly (comparing strictly to butterflies standard, of course). but it does posses one thing - it is beautifully symmetrical.
ps: the title has no direct connection with the image. it is taken from the song "Symmetry" from Mew. isn't it obvious? i like the song very much, and no, butterflies aren't mention in that song ;P

actually this is an image of a glass panel. a decor in a posh office. if you look closely, you could see the chair. the image didn't turn out as expected. i wonder what is proper way to capture a glass surface? i like the look tru feel, the glass feel. obviously, i didn't get the glass feel so i edited the image with Adobe Photoshop. now, i think this image got a liquid feel. the first thing that strike me - sperm movement. the center is the ovum. millions of sperm circling the ovum. waiting to fertilized the one and only ovum. ah,biology...

yes, another image captured in penang. the basket is use to "store" fruits, exported from Thailand. Hmm.. talking about Thailand, that is one place that I would definetly like to visit. I think Thailand is one of the few countries which has its own identity - good and bad, alike.

i captured this image in penang. i don't know what the signboard says. proablaly, the name of the shop. i don't know what the shop sells also,as it was close during that time. even though, the usage of this type of sign board (with chinese wording) is declining. yet, somehow, i think these type of sign board will survive the passage of time.

i wonder what is this called - Speedometer or Odometer?

Odometer: a device built into the dashboard of a vehicle that records the distance traveled
personally, i can't see the difference in those two terms.
