Thanks for that note, it appears that was only an issue for episodes #121-125, and was an issue with the way I setup TextExpander (which helps me keep a consistent format for publishing episodes). Has been fixed now.

The download links for the aac version don't work because there is a missing s in the url after "episode". This applies to all of the episodes having an aac version.

Great episode, the textCAPCHA service was mentioned, which promoted me to try it out in the form of a CAPTCHA plugin:
http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=1832305&p=11075865
I hope to get something testable in the next week or so.

The reason for removing certain DBMS' are because phpBB no longer supports them. Remember, MODX was initially released in the 2.0 days. We support all DBMS' supported by phpBB 3.0.6. We removed support for access databases.

It is correct that phpBB 3.0.6 no longer will support firebird 2.0. But MODX is not affected by this because we do not specify a version.

As you may be able to tell, I don't like talking on the phone -- even though I work at a call center (inbound customer support, don't get any ideas).

Was fun though. I guess I'll come onto the show again when we are close to the phpBBModders site rollout. ;)

Oh and one more omen: it's now September of 2009, and they still have the last copyright as 2008. Great.

I can sure understand. Had my first podcast Community Call via Talk Shoe last night. 70 people participated. It will only get better and have plans on doing it every Friday evening.

Yet, the Streaming Audio was unavailable, so no one could listen right on their computer. Everyone had to call in. One gal couldn't--didn't have her phone.

When I tried to find out more about Streaming Audio, I find nothing.

Next, I couldn't record it--it claimed I wasn't the host. Ummm, my control box I was using clearly said I was. So now there is nothing for all those who are asking to hear it because they couldn't be with us the first night.

But the following was even worse: when I tried to use their People Powered support, filling in all the blanks, it asked for my email address and password...then says my email address was not in their system. If it's not in their system, how was I able to do my first Community Call last night?

And finally, when I called the phone number listed, I get a recording about July 21st. Yesterday was September 5th. No reply to my message.

Talk Shoe has royally gone down the drain. i.e. it sucks. I'm looking elsewhere.
