When I saw this picture(and those beautiful eyes) I said to myself: I must manipulate this photo. Lucky for me, this picture belongs to a friend of mine, Alina. The model is Iulia, and she is a friend of Alina. This is not the original picture, Alina made some small adjustments, so here it is:

After a closer look at the picture I was in trouble. How can i touch this picture? I had various ways how to manipulate, running through my head, but it was hard to decide which one is the best. So, after 30 minutes of free playing this is what I did:

This shot was taken by Quim Granell, and it’s awesome. It’s full of details and it’s bright. Just take a look at the feathers details. They are so amazing…

I couldn’t resist to play with this image. I admit, i have something strange with black colors. I added some mistery to this photo. Added some black, fixed the exposure and recovery…and now you can see it:

This picture I took during my holiday in Crete, this year. I was a windy and cloudy day. The sun was hiding behind the clouds and the waves..as you can see in the picture.

I wanted to light up this picture and I added a quick mix.

Autumn leafs

Alina Corcoz is a friend of mine who took this magic autumn picture. I don’t know where she made the “photo shooting”, but i saw all her autumn pictures. They are beautifull so as the fall. I asked Alina to lend me a picture…and she did. Thank you Alina! Now, take a look at your picture, mixed by me!

I was thinking about the past summer, so i added more “sun” to the picture, more heat. Added brightness, contrast and more brightness. Let’s enjoy this autumn, winter is coming!

Another untitled picture

David Strozyk took this awsome picture. Beautifull model, beautifull concept, and the picture tell a beautifull story. I didn’t like this fuzzy and blurry layer. I wanted to see the details, to take a closer look at the model’s eyes… so, I was started the mix.

I started with blacks and continued with clarity, exposure and the vibrance. Take a look at her eyes.. They are hipnotizing. Hope you like it too.

Midnight in Paris – on set picture

I found this picture when i was searching throug google images for my romanian blog. As you can see, it’s just a simple picture taken when filming “Midnight in Paris”. Hope you recognized Marion Cotillard and Owen Wilson. If you didn’t see the movie, you must go and watch it. Here is the trailer.

When i think of Paris in the 1920′s, a couple of words pop in to my head: vintage, retro, old and sepia. Yeah, it’s a clisee, but i like it! Take a look at the result:

Alpine sight

I don’t know who took this picture. I found it on the internet, on a wallpaper website. It was allready touched via Photoshop, but i didn’t like it. Too dark for how much snow has on it.

If you’ve seen snow in your life so close, you know that’s blinding. I wanted to create that effect, so you can be closer to the white snow. I adjusted the exposure 2 levels, some clarity, one drop of contrast and a lot of brightness.

This is a beautifull image! It’s untitled and it belongs to Victoria Cherlenyuk, a good photographer. I love her shots, they all tell a story and I love stories. I wanted to make this image to tell another story. Take a look below and see if you can hear the new story.

I didn’t touch it much. I took 5 minutes to play with it. Added one level of clarity, two levels of vibrance and fixed the exposure. Hope you like it.
