Being more airtight also means that there are chemicals, smoke and vapors emitted while cooking, smoking or many other things. These can actually cause asthma and other respiratory problems. It can also cause headaches, flu-like symptoms and other neurological problems.

As much as possible avoid using strong, harsh air fresheners that can cause irritation of eyes, nose, etc. Instead, go fragrance-free by dipping cotton balls in a sweet smelling extract like vanilla and stash them around the house.

Don't let the bad stuff in. So, let the shoes or any footwears stay at the door area or front hall because they carry dirt, bacteria, mold and chemicals.
If you dry clean your clothes, be sure to bring them home few days after being done because freshly dry cleaned clothes can emit chemicals that have been linked to cancer and other neurological problems. Try going to a dry cleaner that uses "wet" or CO2 cleaning.

Always ventilate! Turn your stove or microwave's exhaust fan when cooking. It will help smoke and other chemicals released outside. Open your garage door when turning on your car to avoid carbon monoxide exposure that can go inside the house.

Vacuu at least 2x a week to get rid of excessive dust, lead, mold and pet dander. Don't dust or mop woth dry cloths but use damp cloth or wipes so as not to put the dust up in the air where you breathe.

Don't spray cleaners directly but spray it into a rag or paper towels so as not to inhale the fumes in the air.
Every little bit helps you and your love ones live in a safer, healthier house. Fewer chemicals, less dust and smoke.

Sent from my iPad

Apple Store Coupons

Here is one great site worth checking if you are looking for discounts on buying your iPad Accessory Deals online. Considering that the Apple store rarely offers promo codes or discounts, you wouldn't think there are any out there that can be found.

Geek Alerts can give you the complete list for any Apple products' promotions, discounts, coupons, free shipping, etc...anything that can give you savings.

I both got an iPad and iPad 2, being an Apple fan for all these years! I am just glad that I saw this link and I bookmarked it already for future reference. I want to accessorize them both making it more unique looking too! It is also fun trying to search all those types of iPad accessories and yes, promo codes and discounts are just around the corner...if you know where you can check them online, don't you think?

So, keep watching what other cool gadgets Geek Alerts would post everyday.

Party!, Party!

According to creative director of Allure magazine Paul Cavaco, there are 3 simple rules of party dressing, whether your invitation says cocktail, black tie or festive attire.

So, if you're at a crowded event, it's more possible that no one can see your lower half, so try to "live on top" and make sure your prettiest details like embellishments, lace or ruching are concentrated above the waist.

Pick the right bag that is compact enough to fit under your arm, but roomy enough to fit your lipstick, credit card and phone and yet still always stay closed. Consider a bag with chains if you'll be dancing.

Shawls and cardigans can look frumpy, but you can wear a coat and just check it in at the door. The energy of the party should be enough to keep you warm.

Sent from my iPad

Daily Deals At Unbeatable Prices!

Living in an economy that is so unstable can even be more tough particularly for families who are constantly living a day-to-day tight budget, that even their own basic needs are so hard to get (almost).

But there is always hope, as many would say, as long as you live with a positive outlook in life.

And just because you live in a tight budget does not mean you can't buy anything for yourself that you really want or need. I can say, it is just a matter of finding the best deals online. True, there are a lot of deal websites out there when you would start clicking your mouse on the web, but come to think about it. Are they the best deals? There can be "deals" that are not really "good" deals! You know what I mean? So that many would be so overwhelmed in them that they would start giving in and buying them without really checking the real deals ;).
Who doesn't love deals and discounts anyway, right? But be sure you are getting your stuff as a real deal!

So, here's some good news that I can recommend. Have you heard about nomorerack? Well, I have checked their site and indeed, they have lots of deals and discounted hot items which include even your favorite brands! I have joined the site myself and bookmarked it just to be sure I won't forget it :).

In order to enjoy the deals, you can visit them at nomorerack.com and register for free! You can then start surfing the deals right away and find all the things at their unbeatable prices. You will be even surprised to know that you can get discounts at 80-95% off their regular retail prices. Now, that's really what you call "insanity deals"...lol!
Another good thing with the site is that they always have deals that go live daily and always offer new products.
You can catch today's deals which only last until January 11th, so be sure you are registered prior to that so you can be able to shop on them as well. In anyway, you can still be able to get the same unbeatable deals every day, but just imagine if you'll miss a day, that thing you are wanting to have might not be there anymore. So, time is gold! :)

I missed the insanity deal on that purse I have been dreaming to have...ugh! :( That's the sad thing when you tend to get late about the news that have been going around!

Anyway, I'm wishing you all a happy shopping!

Getting Rid Of Red Wine Stains On Your Dress

Wondering how you could lift that splash of Cabernet from your fave dress?
Here are tips that help:

First, be sure that the fabric won't run, then press a wet cotton ball on an inconspicuous spot, then lift up. If any color bleeds on the cotton ball, stop and take it to the dry cleaner.

On a clean white towel, place the garment facedown, then blot up as much of the wine as possible using a cotton swab to press the garment into the towel from the reverse side.

Try by soaking the cotton ball in a white vinegar and dab the stain from the back of the garment. Move the garment into a cleaner spot on the towel and keep tamping until no red comes out.

Repeat the entire steps with a half teaspoon of dish soap which is diluted in a cup of water.

Take note; - if the garment is labeled "dry clean only", take it right away to a professional dry cleaner. If not, wash it with a dye and fragrance-free detergent with enzymes (such as Seventh Generation Free & Clear).

Sent from my iPad

Medi-Spa Malpractice Insurance

Every health workers or healthcare providers like doctors, nurses, etc., and health care facilities need to consider getting a medical malpractice insurance which can help you in your practice no matter what the situation is. We have waited years to do this, and we can’t wait to see the results. We could never see ourselves living in a gated community where all of the houses looked exactly the same. We decided that we would have to buy in an old, historical neighborhood and just change the house to meet our needs. I’ve always wanted an amazing kitchen, and that will probably be the most extravagant part of the house. I get so excited when I think about all of the amazing meals I’ll be able to make for my family in that kitchen one day. We aren’t able to live there during the renovation, so we were really worried that someone would break in and steal all of the expensive appliances we were having installed. The contractor suggested we go to www.homesecurity101.com and set up a home security system to protect the home while no one is living there. We feel much better knowing that our property is safe now and can’t wait to move in when the house is ready. Hopefully all this hard work and waiting around will be worth it.

The Germiest Places You Could Imagine!

If you think the dirtiest place you'll ever encounter is a public toilet, think again! According to a study, 80% of grocery carts were found out they had E.coli!...and they're not the only microbe magnets.
Here are the other list of at least top 5 most germ-filled places in your world!...and the best way to clean them.

1. Phones - did you know that your cell phone can carry 500 times more bacteria than a toilet seat? Many disease causing microbes can survive for 2 weeks on your rarely cleaned office or phone. Swipe with a disinfecting wipe daily.

2. Soap dispensers - they are also common as hot spots for E.coli, and other fecal bacteria, but if you wash your hands properly, lathering while singing one round of "happy birhtday", you'll get rid of the bugs.

3. Keyboards and Mouse - your co worker's germs can linger on your computer longer than the virus she accidentally emailed last week. The rhinovirus that causes common cold can survive for hours to days on keyboards. Wipe these accessories weekly with disinfectant even if you're the only one using your computer.

4. Lobby-level elevator buttons - Wait for someone else to press the button, or use your knuckle, then apply sanitizer.

Shopping cart handles - Up to 8 in 10 may have the presence of E.coli, so take advantage of free disinfectant wipes at the store or use hand sanitizer after shopping.

Sent from my iPad

Is Your RV Covered?

Do you have RV? I bet for those who really love to travel or for those that have jobs that are always on the road through RV, for sure, they have their insurance for it.
It is considered important that your RV is covered particularly if you use it most of the time. Besides, you never knows what happens on the road every minute you are on it, don't you think?
How would you imagine yourself stuck in the middle of nowhere when it happens that your RV breaks down? Sucks!...and dangerous too!
So be sure you have RV warranty that also includes rv repair. Perhaps, you might want to consider checking Good Sam extended service plan. It doesn't hurt to check on it and get in touch with them, especially if your RV has no warranties or insurance coverage.

How Often Would You Wash/Clean Your Stuff At Home?

In swapping your bath towel for a fresh one, ideal days should be 2-3 days, and always hang them up dry to prevent the growth of bacteria. I have been eyeing some online deals on ugg boots, but I have to face it, I need to be financially considerate this year. I still have couple pairs I haven't used out of my boots collection, so I guess, I just have to hang on getting a pair from UGG. I already checked some local stores on UGG boots, but I felt the price was too expensive and that the styles are not my type. I saw those styles and sizes I want online with fine deals, but I need to wait until next year.

Cleaning Your Home Without Harmful Chemicals

For families having cases of severe allergies and asthma, cleaning the house using commercial cleaning products containing ammonia and other chemicals can trigger those illnesses especially young children, many of which are often paying more just to buy chemical-free cleaning products.

But you can make your own asthma-friendly cleaning formulas at home with your own little effort, by using common household ingredients such as baking soda and vinegar.

Here are some helpful easy-to-make recipes that are effective and safe for you and your family to use:

For cleaning windows and mirrors:
Mix 1/4 cup of white vinegar with 2 quarts of warm water, then apply it with a clean sponge. Wipe off any excess with a dry rag or paper towel.

For Oven Cleaner:
Mix 1 cup of baking soda with enough water to make a paste. Then apply it to dirty oven surfaces and let stand. After a few minutes scrub it using a scouring pad. This method requires a little more elbow grease but is not toxic.

For Woodworks, Tiles and Linoleums:
To treat some spots on them, Murphy's liquid soap is good and safe all-purpose cleaner.

For Toilet Bowl Cleaner:
Sprinkle baking soda around the inside of the toilet bowl, then add a couple drops of liquid soap. Scrub with a brush and finish outside surface with a rag sprinkled with baking soda.

For Laundry:
Use "non-chlorine bleach" for lifting stains from clothing, or try soaking fabrics in water mixed with borax, hydrogen peroxide, lemon juice, baking soda or white vinegar.

For Linoleum Floor Cleaner:
Mix 1/2 cup of vinegar in a bucket of warm water. The smell will disappear when the floor dries.

Olympia Steel Buildings

For sure, every construction designer's aim is to construct, protect and make each of their buildings sturdy and tough.
The good news for Canadians? But did you know that those pretty totes can get pretty gross too if you don't check it out.

A research study from the University of Arizona in Tucson found out that more than half of those reusable grocery bags they tested were contaminated by fecal bacteria and E. Perhaps, the following tips can help. It's time to clean up your closet!

Anything you haven't worn for two years or more, garments that can't be repaired, fashion mistake, etc...need to be out for disposal.
It feels good to give stuff away that you don't use.

Clothes can be moved to a standing rack, or bins and boxes under the bed or stacked properly in a corner for out of season clothes. Another option is folding them, mostly ideal for wrinkled style clothes, or clothes that need not to be ironed.

Get double cascading hooks that let you hang multiple items from one hanger. Make use of the wall above the hanging rod by adding an additional shelf for off-season storage.
You can also install mini-shelves or under-wire baskets for any vertical space between existing shelves.

Use the back of the door by hanging an over-the-door-rack or hooks to neatly hang your small items such as bags, hats or belts.

Good luck! :)

Sent from my iPad

Online Solution For Computer/IT Training

If you think going to a formal school is the only solution to upgrade your career or get the training that you want or need, it's time to think again.

Take for example, IT Certification Courses.
