Top 10 Favorite Makeup Gurus of 2011

Hey girls sorry for the late post. I'm finally done filming all my favorites for 2011. The last video I made was my top 10 favorite makeup gurus of 2011. Picking favorite things or products is so easy to do and share but ranking my top 10 makeup gurus was very difficult. I decided to make this video as the last video for 2011 so I can give my self enough time to think. It's difficult because there's a lot of makeup gurus on Youtube that are so talented and very smart but I have some issues with getting their updated videos in my subscription box. So I mainly ranked these gurus based on how many times I've watched and seen their videos. I might have to blame Youtube coz what's the sense of subscribing when you can't even watch their updated videos? but whatever the reason behind it I still don't understand it.

She's so pretty. I fell in love with her tutorials. I barely wear eye shadow on a regular basis partly because it's so time consuming but that doesn't mean I don't like watching dramatic makeup tutorials. Well honestly I love watching dramatic looks more than simple and neutral ones. So I found JennisseMakeup as one of the gurus on Youtube that always comes up with colorful/dramatic looks. I always enjoy my time when I watch her tutorials. And I know it sounds so weird but I love her eyes and eyebrows. It seems like it's so easy for her to pull off any makeup look. I also love how she explains her tutorials and her personality on camera.

I love her because of her personality. I love how she make her videos randomly and has her own uniqueness. I know I barely watch videos that are related to personal issues and advice but I like it when she tries to cheer up other people and increase their self esteem. I salute her for that. I also love the way she explains her videos because it sounds so mature and very professional.

I love Julie mainly because I love her style. She kinda reminds me of Jessicaharlow but in a different way. They kinda have some similarities for me but they're both still completely different. She looks so chick always and she's very entertaining to watch. I love her tutorials, tips and hauls.

I think she's the only guru that is always popping up in my subscription box. There may be sometimes that I don't see her videos but it's only on a rare occasion. Julia is the 2nd makeup guru that I always watched way back in 2010 and even now I'm always excited when I see her videos in my subscription box. Because of her famous makeup looks it wasn't difficult for me to find her channel and subscribe. And she's the first guru who really inspired me to develop my skills. I always said to myself "If she can do that, maybe I could do that too?" of course with a question mark since I always hesitated but in the end I proved to myself that I can do well too. Thanks Julia for being one of my inspirations.

I like watching her because she's so bubbly. I like her bright eyes! I fell in love with her after watching some of her videos showing her stuff and I think she's the only guru I saw that has a huge filming office room with a lot of girly stuff. I always imagined that I had what she had. She also inspires me to organize your things and make it look so perfect.

These sisters are so damn beautiful. I mainly watch their videos because they're so pretty. They're both so talented too. Nic always reminds me of Virgin Mary=) Keep up the good work pixiwoo sisters and thank you so much for sharing all your ideas.

Tiffany is also one of the gurus that is so girly and very pretty. I like how she's always pleasant to watch. Her features plus the background of her room seems so calming to look at. I'm also in love with her hauls and her tutorials.

Ugh this girl is so effortlessly gorgeous too. The profile of her face is so perfect. I feel like all of them are pretty. I always love watching Holly. I remember that I got her channel from her friend AprilAthena's recommendation. I checked her out and was watching her videos quiet a few times until I got addicted to watch her. I really love her hair, lips, teeth and the way she talks. She talks so fast but I like it.=) Over all I'm one of her fans.

Wow Leina... Leina is such a sweet girl. I always love hearing her voice. Her tutorials are all perfect to me and even if she only makes random videos sometimes I'm still excited to watch and see her. Love you Leina=)

Etude House Nail Polish in BR309

Hey guys I'm back for another nail polish review. I know a lot of you are excited to read my nail polish reviews coz like me you're also a nail polish addict. Am I right? I am positive I'm right. So anyways, here's my most awaited post.

The nail polish that I'm gonna be reviewing today is the one from etude house in BR309. These are the cheapest collection of nail polishes they have and I got a few of them. I won three of them as a prize and the rest are my personal purchases. I'm still planning on collecting more colors and buying some of their different collections but for now I will enjoy what I have.

I will just list all the pros and cons down below so it's easier for me to deliver my review for this product. Ok I hope you'll enjoy this post and don't forget to check out some of my nail polish reviews and follow this blog for more updated posts. Now let's get into the review.

Pros:

1. Very affordable

2. Easy to find

3. The color is so pretty and simple

4. Two cotes is enough

5. I like the consistency

6. Nice packaging but not the size

Cons:

1. So small

2. I can't read Korean words/sentences so I don't know what color they're indicating.

Adele's Grammy Awards Makeup Looks=)

Hi Girls and Guys too,

This is my two part both-in-one-series Celebrity Inspired Makeup Look where I imitate Adele's makeup for the 2012 Grammy Awards. She had my favorite look out of all the contestents and antendees but I wasn't the only one who was impressed. Her two part look made waves in the YouTube community inspiring beauty users and gurus to admire her beauty and simple fashion sense. I for one really enjoyed it and I'm very glad that I was able to make this YouTube video.

Smokey Valentines Day Makeup Tutorial/Chris and I's Outfit during Valentines Day=)

Hi everyone!

I tend to wear bold and dramatic makeup on special occasions. Mainly to practice what I've learned, to learn more and just to have a good time. This was my second Valentines Day Look for 2012 and in contrast to my first look this one is a bit more smokey and a little darker too. I ended up wearing a toned down version of this look for our Valentines Day dinner date and I'm including the video and some pictures of that at the bottom of this post. But first, here is the video and pictures of my Smokey Valentines Day Look for 2012:

Feel free to use this look for a late night out at a party or if you like going to clubs you can wear it there too. A lot of you suggested that I retitle this vid as a club look but I retitled it as a "Smokey Valentines Day Look" so it still fit the Valentine's Day theme. Everyone is different and not everyone feels comfortable wearing darker dramatic looks on Valentines Day but for those of you that are night owls like me it might work out just fine! So Let me know... :) :)

Simple Valentines Day Nail Art Design!!

Have you thought about venturing into nail art? I have but only recently. It's funny cuz I've painted my nails ever since I was 11 but at the time I thought that nail art only happened in salons. My dad has always been simple and so has my mom. So when I was a kid I could only convince her to buy nail polishes on the condition that she picked the color. As simple as she was her colors weren't really colorful and they were all alike so I ended up painting my nails with the same nail polishes (almost the same) til I grew up enough to buy new colors.

Valentines Day Makeup Tutorial in Pretty Pink Romantic (collab. w/bingprojectawesome)

Valentines Day is only 4 to 5 days away and for many of us we'll be spending our time with a special someone (husband, boyfriend, etc.). I'm going to go on a dinner date with my husband Chris but one of our friends is going to go with us too.

Cheng is one of our good friends who Chris has known for 3 years and who I've known my entire life. We're not related by blood but she's my uncle's niece so we treat her like family. She usually goes on dinner dates with us when we make our trips to the mall, shop for groceries and things like that so we wanted to include her on V-Day since she doesn't have a date. Although Valentines Day is notorious for being a romantic holiday it is sometimes celebrated with loved ones outside of one's husband and wife (boyfriend and girlfriend, etc.). Love has no bounds and holidays can always be celebrated with friends and family.

Bichun Nail Polish in 57

Hey guys I'm finally blogging and reviewing nail polishes again=) I kept all my pictures from all the nail polishes I used from last month till today knowing that I'd eventually use them on my blog. Ok. So anyways, I'll start with the nail polish that I got from a friend named Jillian. She's one of my subscribers on Youtube, a follower on Twitter and my friend on Facebook. We did a swap last year but I wasn't able to film the items that I got from her as I was so busy with other things and I tend not to film if and when I feel so exhausted. So this is the one from the items that she sent me.

Now onto the nail polish. I will enumerate the pros and cons so it will be easier for you to read and it's more interesting than reading a whole chapter=) *I'm just kidding* So here it goes=)

Pros:

1. One of my favorite colors. I love bright colors that are not boring since I grew up using my mom's plain nail colors when I was younger than my age now. "I need to quote that" hehehe "Younger than my age huh" I still feel young=)

2. One of my favorite consistency type of nail polishes.

3. It did pretty good. It lasted until I was ready to change my nail polish. That's a perfect time for me.

4. Two coats is enough since the product is honestly pigmented

5. It might be cheaper since I think this one is a Chinese product. I'm not sure though so you can correct me if I'm wrong=)

6. I like the packaging specially the cap but not the size.

Cons:

1. I can't find it anywhere here in Davao. I could roam around the whole city looking for it but that would be too hard.

2. The size is pretty small. I know how to take care of nail polishes so I'm not worried about buying big bottles or full size ones but this one might not last for that long coz it only has enough amount for you to enjoy it.

3. It smells a little bit stronger compared to some of my nail polishes.

4. It doesn't have a name, only a number which I really don't like. I love nail polishes with cute names or with any other kind of names.

5. I can't figure out if it is Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese brand. I'm not an expert when it comes to different writings that are not related to the A-Z alphabet. We don't have those subjects in school unless you go to a special school that teach those languages.

So that's it guys. And as a note this is just based on my experience so don't worry if you think a bit different than me since we're all different with our own tastes and experiences. I also wanna give credit to Jillian for including this nail polish in our swap.

Worst Products of 2011+Review

Hello guys I've been MIA again from blogging. I've just been so busy making videos lately and I always get tired after I film. I'm trying my best to update my blog more since it's more convenient for you to read the reviews and since you can easily understand what I'm trying to say for each item. So anyhow guys, enjoy reading.

Laushine Nail Polish (from bornprettystore)

- Have you ever expected so much from a product but ended up getting disappointed? I have.... It's so funny how this nail polish looks so good on it's own but doesn't ever do the job. It's like people who have beautiful faces without beauty on the inside. That's how I interpret this nail polish. This is one of the five nail polishes I got from bornprettystore along with a matte nail polish and a sheet of nail foil. This was the last nail polish I tried from the said group since I thought this one was black along with the nail polish I got that was black. When I realized it wasn't black I was very excited and of course so at ease while applying my nails with the nail polish. Now I thought this one would take a few minutes rather then seconds (most cracking nail polishes crack after 2 seconds) but after a few minutes and even after an hour I was still expecting it to crack somehow when I wasn't paying attention. Well, I didn't get what I expected since it didn't crack at all but instead cracked me up=) So this nail polish is such a fail. I don't know why this didn't come out good.=(

San San Liquid Eyeliner

- This one doesn't last for that long. You might not agree with me but this is my real experience. I was happy when I first tried it since I thought I could get it for a lower price over other brands and that it was easier to look for but it didn't impress me at all. It dries up so quickly and it creates this nasty residue.

Elf Brightening Eye Color

- Another disappointing product. If ever you'll start collecting makeup and your hunting for good affordable eyeshadow, please take time to research or watch more youtube videos so you'll have better ideas before your buy. I was so extremely excited and never got a chance to explore YouTube and that's why I ended up buying all of these failed products.

Fashion 21 Eyebrow Duo

- I believe they only have one available color and it doesn't say what the name of that color is. So anyways, I was happy when I got this. I was even convincing Chris to buy this one since I needed to buy another eyebrow powder to refill my old one. Well I think when you buy in a rush you end up getting the wrong one! So always choose the right thing and think twice before you decide. Another problem I had when I bought this is that I couldn't tell if it was good or not since their testers were pretty old and I couldn't tell if it was dry or not. I wish that makeup counters would change their testers when they think it's dry and/or unsafe to test. I don't use makeup testers on my face directly but I do swatch them on the back of my hand Some people use testers on their face but I think they're too old and unsafe to test on your face. So anyhow I ended up getting another failed product from not being wise again.

Elf Brightening Eye Color

- Another disappointing product. Elf Plumping Lip Glaze in Baby Doll

- I really had a bad experience with this lipgloss. It burns my lips so bad! I thought that they gave me an expired one but since a few people had the same complaint's I started to think that maybe it's the ingredients of the product itself. Well, I hope Elf will discontinue this product since it's not one of their best. The color might be beautiful but the product itself is unhealthy on the lips.

Fashion 21 Blush Stick in No.05

- Another failed product from Fashion 21. I think most of you will agree that this product smells like Chin Chun Su facial cream which you can probably buy anywhere. I remember that product was so famous here in the Philippines during the 90's. My mom was one of their loyal customers=). I hated the smell of it and if you're not familiar with the smell of Chin Chun Su smell the Fashion 21 Blush Stick! It's close to that since they have the same smell.

Ever Bilena Studio Finish Stick Foundation in Creme

- Although this has thick coverage that everyone might love to buy and get I don't like how it's so cakey on my face. I also don't like that it has a pink undertone to it that it doesn't match with my yellow undertone skin. You might say this fits those who are not pale and have a pinkish skin tone but I'm not 100 percent sure. I've read some good reviews about this foundation and that's mainly why I got it. As you know we can't all get the results that others get since we all have different types of skin.

Myra VitaGlow Tinted Facial Moisturizer in Ivory

- It sounds very white since most ivory colors are pale but once you put this onto your face it will blend naturally with your skin color. I like how the color will be absorbed by your skin and how it feels lighter than foundation but again I'm not lucky enough to get good results with this product. I may or may not be allergic to it's strong fragrance but it makes me break out either way. I always go for non-odor foundations like Revlon and some other BB creams that have lighter fragrances since that's what usually works for me. I bought this product after they officially advertised it in stores and I was so excited since I'm a loyal customer of Myra e. But what can I do if my skin doesn't like it? It has a shimmer to it too which is another reason why I don't like it.

Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals BB Cream

- I don't know if they have any colors besides this one but I'm pretty sure this is the only one I've seen. I'm surprised how cakey this BB cream is as I expect BB creams to be way lighter. I expect them to be comparable to tinted moisturizer and not cakey at all. So I'm surprised how thick this one is and that it's not light at all. I consider this product medium to full coverage but that's just based on my own experience.

Shawill Blemish Balm Skin Whitening Beauty in No. 03

- Ok this was one of my favorites at first but I grew to hate it since I couldn't use it later on. I was so mad when I found out that the color was way too dark for my skin and that it didn't justify the color that they put on the label. It was kind of my fault for getting it without testing the real color but at the same time they didn't have a tester for each shade. And after trusting the label I had no idea why or how it came out so dark. So now I can't use it anymore. I tried mixing it with lighter BB creams but it didn't even work so I guess I'll give it to Cheng rather than throwing it away.

Home Health Ever Clean Antidandruff

- Ok I mainly got this because I was hopeless in regards to curing my dandruff. That was the time when I hadn't yet discovered my miracle shampoo. I know this might be too embarrassing for some people out there but I don't mind. I'm actually excited to share my miracle shampoo with you... the one that cured my dandruff. Ok let's get back to the product. Well it says that the product is anti-dandruff and it has ingredients that are really eye catching for the consumer. It says it moisturizes and keeps your hair fresh and manageable but I never experienced that. It honestly dried my hair so bad, it didn't cure my dandruff and it has this weird smell and color comparable to betadine (a.k.a. typical antiseptics). This product is only available in Healthy Option and it costs so much. Why buy expensive products that don't even work? It's a huge fail..

Jason Pure Natural & Organic Thin to Thick Healthy Hair System

- I am also disappointed with this product and I got it from Healthy Option too. It didn't do anything for my hair besides leaving it smelling weird and nasty. I don't recommend you buy these types of products that are over priced since they don't even meet your needs. This is such a big fail and it's one of my worst products of 2011.

Dove Advanced Care Pro-Age Styling Foam

- I don't have any complaints with the product itself. I'm only complaining about not being able to use it since the bottle's spray button is broken. I love the product itself and I had another one from the buy-one-take-one deal but I'm wondering if they gave me this broken one for free. How am I suppose to use it?

Best Purchases of 2011

Hello guys I'm so happy and I'm very excited to share with you my best purchases of 2011. I just did a video on it and if you haven't watched it yet, you can watch the video since I attached it at the the bottom of this post. I had so many purchases last year but that's a given since it's the whole freaking year so it's got to be a lot right=). Although I bought a lot of things last year I only considered a few of them as my best purchases. Of course it is the amount of benefit and the quality of those benefits that count when choosing your best buys. So let's talk about the best things I bought in 2011:

Hot Pink Lenovo ideapad Laptop

- I was really happy when I got this and discovered that it had an HD screen and that it could handle HD videos without having to render or convert your videos. I might experience a bit of a glitz when using it but that's because I use it all the time. I also like how big it is and how it has a CD-ROM which helps me do other things too. And it doesn't over heat at all. Not even when I leave it plugged with it's power cable while uploading. I'm super duper happy with this! And I'm so pleased and in love with this laptop and it's definitely one of my best purchases of 2011.

Canon 600D DSLR Camera

- Another reason why I'm always excited to film and very inspired is because of this camera. The only downside with this camera is that it doesn't auto focus by itself. You need to do it manually. As far as I know these types of camera are good for filming movies since it doesn't have to view products but movie characters from far away. But if you really want to have an auto focus camera you can buy the same brand, Canon. Just try their Canon camcorder. I'm pretty sure they have the same lighting.

- This camera has a flip screen which is one of the reasons I love it so much and one of the reasons why it is so expensive. It has 18 megapixels which is pretty good and of course HD videos. You can search some reviews for this camera on youtube and mark my word, once you get this camera and learn how to use it, you'll definitely fall in love with it=).

Canon PowerShot A2200 Digital Camera

- This camera is also great, specially at a price of P4,750.00 and it's already HD and has 14.1 megapexils, come on!! It's pretty amazing=). The only thing that I don't like about this is the color. I mean I don't hate blue, I do love blue but not for me. I prefer to have a pink one, purple or red coz it's more girly and it fits my style more. But this was the only one that was left and they were going to phase it out so I was afraid and got this one while I still could. Over all I love this camera.

Zebra Vanity Case

- I love this one too and I guess it's one of my best purchases of 2011 since it helps me carry a lot of my makeup stuff when I travel. But this is only convenient for personal use but not recommended if you're a freelance makeup artist. This will not fit everything you need for your clients.

CDR-King Tripod

- I don't know how tall it is but it's really really tall. I think it's a half inch taller than me. I got it for only P650.00 and the quality is pretty amazing. I don't have major complaints so far with this tripod coz it does the job and that's what I wanted to get from it.

Akari Light Stand

- Although this only has one light bulb it does a great job. I can bend it easily since the body is bendable and I can do anything with it. It is very user friendly.

- These shoes are definitely some of my best purchases for 2011. I remember when I decided to buy a whole bunch of shoes just to switch from flats to high heels. It took me a few days to adjust to wearing them but I learned how to do it in the end. I'm so grateful I bought them.

My Little Gabby Boy=) The Sweetest Chihuahua Ever..

Hello lovelies.. I'm not feeling better yet and I'm so sleepy but I still want to make a blog post=) Anyways, I just uploaded a vlog of Gabby my baby chihuahua on YouTube to meet all of your requests. And I was actually hesitant at first but since a few of you were requesting it I finally did it. I'm also planning on making a vlog for both Gabby and Raffy but I'm still thinking of when I can do that since Raffy is rowdy when he sees me. He's always jumping and hugging my legs! I want to make at least one video of Raffy on my channel so people will see how cute he is too. He is now two years old but I still treat him like a puppy.

Amazing Homemade Pimple Cure - My Daily Facial Routine

Hello everybody how are you today. Are you good? :)

Well, this blog was a requested one. It's about my daily facial routine. I'm going to tell you that I'm not into high end products because I already tried them and they weren't at all effective. I only spent so much money buying expensive products and paying for facials without ever seeing the results.

Until one day I think it was January or February of 2010 my guardian angel appeared, my wedding planner. We were talking about my wedding at that time when she noticed that I had so many pimples on my face. I told her that I've tried so many products and that I spent P550 every month on facials.

So she said, "Why don't you try the solution that I'm using?". I was so interested in knowing what it was that I asked her and she replied "I'm just using Eskinol". And I know girls especially Filipina women in the Philippines can relate to this product. It's Eskinol Dermaclear C Facial Cleaner and "I mix it with a Vitamin E capsule and Dalacin C". I was told that I could use any vitamin E but I always use Myra E.

I have had amazing results using this solution along with friends and family too. We all had fantastic results but as we all know everyone is different.

Amazing Pimple Cure Mixture:
1. Eskinol - Dermaclear C Facial Cleaner
2. 300mg Vitamin E
3. Dalacin C

Tips:
1. Make sure you use it only once a day as more then that would dry your skin.
2. Apply it at night instead of the day. This toner has the tendency to make your skin sensitive to the sun for a few hours.
3. Use a moisturizer after you apply it. Without moisturizer this product may leave your skin a bit dry.

First Massive Haul of 2012

Hey guys I'm finally posting my "First Massive Haul of 2012" here on my blog. Hey guys so finally I have more product reviews for you. I do admit these products are sponsored but I'm not biased anyways. I'm still going to tell you my honest thoughts. Well most of them are pretty new to me (not the pair of contact lenses) but I'll share how to use the products and I'll give slight benefits you will get with each when you use them. So here are the products below including the descriptions on how you're going to use them. I'm also going to attach a little note about my thoughts on these certain products.

MASCARA GUIDE

- with a comb with 2 varying thickness at the bottom (so that eyelashes wont clump together & look more natural)

In my opinion this is very helpful to prevent smudging while you're applying your mascara. The mouth is wide open that it holds all your lashes. It's suitable to any eye shape and it's very useful/helpful for beginners too. The weight is so light that even if you drop it, it is still in good shape. The price is affordable, only thing is that you can't understand what is written on the back unless you know how to read it. Overall I highly recommend this if your a beginner and you want easy and even mascara.

FACE UP ROLLER
-Effectively smooth-en face muscle that are exhausted and stiff. help to slimming down your face.
-Improve the edema condition of face. (Face that look swollen and bulky with excess fat or fluid)
-Can also be used to massage the neck area to improve blood regulation & smooth-en neck muscles.
-Remove double chin
-Just 10 min everyday

This is the one that I'm honestly not willing to buy. The main reason is that I already have a slim face. It might look chubby on camera but it's not in person. And I've always wanted to gain more weight coz the more weight I lose the slimmer my face gets and to the point where it sometimes create hallows on my checks. If this one does the job it mentions above then it's not for me. For those who are striving to slim their cheeks then I think this is a practical way rather than having a surgery or whatsoever. Well I admit it feels good sometimes while your stressed or your face needs a massage. I only use the two rollers coz I don't know how to use it after attaching the rollers. It really shows that I'm not familiar with these type of tools.

FRINGE BANGS SHAPER

-Curl your fringe
-You can clip the clipper on your wet hair and remove it when your hair is dry
-Good for DIY your fringe, or use when washing face/putting makeup
-No harm to your hair

I only tried it once while I was doing my makeup to see what the result would be and it came out really good. It gives my hair a natural arc but I never got to enjoy it in a humungous way since I don't have short bangs but I can tell that it's helpful for DIY fringes.

When it comes to the quality, it is comfortable but then as what I mentioned in my video, I can't wear lenses for more than 5 hours. I love collecting them but I always stock them in my plastic box and get them when I need them or when I feel like wearing them.

Year 2012 Inspired Nail Tutorial

New Years Eve Makeup Look_A Touch of Gold=)

Hello guys. It's been so long again that I've been gone=)

But that's not important.. the important thing is that I'm back and I'm now ready to post so many topics on my blog. The main reason it took me so long to go back to blogging is that I can't always find a way to relax my mind. Especially when I'm busy as I'm usually blogging when I"m inspired - not stressed.

Of course my daily routine makes me stressed! I know I don't work that much so it might just be me. I don't need to pretend that I'm strong, right? I'm a workaholic too but I also have that other side of me, you know, the part of me that I don't like. So anyways, this post that I'm going to share with you is a short review of my new video. I uploaded it last night and some of you might have seen it already but for those of you who didn't see it and for those of you that are active here I can share it with you so you can see it too.

Once again I miss you guys=) I miss talking with you and exchanging messages. I'm a friendly person that wants to have a group of friends that will care about and be proud of me. I know you want to have that too and I'm one of your friends that care and I'm proud of you too. That's the reasons why I'm inspired and I can't just leave YouTube because I'm afraid to lose some of the friends I met online. Stay where you are guys and stay nice and humble=)

Dueba - Contact Lenses in Max Pure Brown (conact lens review)

Hello lovelies... I have another contact lens review for you (with pictures) and I'm very excited to share it. I wasn't able to wear these lenses (Dueba in Max Pure Brown) for the last two days but I will share with you what I know so far. I've already worn them once and I'll wear them again tomorrow so if I notice anything different or new I'll be sure to update this blog post.

QUESTIONS:

Where did I get these lenses?

(a.k.a. where can I buy Dueba's Max Pure Brown contact lenses?)

On a normal day in the month of October I was surprised with an email I got from a company that wanted me to review one of their items. It was EyeCandyLens.com.

EyeCandyLens.com sells a variety of Korean contact lenses from GEO, NEO VISION, DUEBA, EOS, and SEESHELL LENSMAM so they had me pick out a few of their lenses and promised me that they'd send me a pair soon after. I've owned quite a few GEO lenses so far so that's what I wanted to get since I've tried so many other brands and none of them passed my test.

I love contact lenses but I sometimes suffer from eye redness when I wear them. My eyes are usually sensitive to the point that I can only wear lenses for 2 hours or less and I get headaches, blurry vision, irritation and redness around my eyes. That's why I only wear lenses when I'm filming.

2. The color is wearable and it's actually almost the same color as my eyes but of course the pupil size is a little bit bigger.

3. I can't really feel the lenses. I feel a slight difference but when my mind isn't focused on it I don't even notice that I'm wearing them.

4. It makes me look younger. I noticed that bigger looking lenses make me look younger (well that's my opinion anyways)

5. The lenses are soft.

6. They are guaranteed to be authentic and made in Korea.

7. They're not too dramatic which is best for those who are looking for natural looking doll eyes.

8. You can buy them online and the company ships to the Philippines.

Cons:
1. I don't think DUEBA lenses are sold in stores here in Davao.

2. They're a bit pricey including the shipping.
3. They didn't really change the color of my eyes

Forever 21's Love & Beauty Nail Polish in Red (nail polish review)

Hey guys I have another nail polish review for you and it's the third love & beauty nail polish I got from my sister in-law. Since love & beauty's quality never fails to impress me I asked my husband if I could get more but as far as I know you can only get these nail polishes from Forever21. At $2.80 a bottle they aren't very expensive but getting them is the hard part.

I owned seven OPI nail polishes and I can tell you that these nail polishes (love & beauty) are actually pretty good. These polishes last for a week or more and they are very pigmented. I highly recommend love & beauty nail polish... the quality is good and you can save a lot of money.

About the Color:

This red is very sexy, very daring and I love how it's matte. Frosty red is too intense for me and the shimmery sparkles over-power the nail polish color. But when red nail polish is matte it looks clean and elegant.

So anyways here's my honest review for this nail polish.

Pros:

1. It lasts for a week or more

2. It is affordable

3. I'm glad that I have it in my collection

4. Very pigmented

5. One coat is actually pretty good but two coats is better

6. U.S. made (imported)

7. I like the color so much

8. It's from Forever21 (I don't own much stuff from Forever21 coz we don't have it here in Davao)

9. It's matte (I like the consistency of matte)

Cons:

1. It's not available here in Davao

So guys if you're interested in trying them you can get them at Forever21. And if there's a Forever21 close to where you live you're so lucky man! This is a great chance for you to buy and try these nail polishes!

Shoe Haul: Mendrez, Leaveland, SO F.A.B., Parisian, Figlia and Primadonna

Hello my lovely friends... I apologize for posting this shoe haul so late. I know some of you were so interested in knowing the prices of the shoes I bought and I know you were waiting for me to post it on my blog. So here it is. My big shoe haul price list :)

As I mentioned in my video I got all of these shoes on sale for 30% to 70% off. And since they were all on sale I bought all of them in a duration of one week.

I'm a practical person and I usually think twice before buying something that's expensive. And I always want to make sure that what I'm buying is worth it. There are shoes that look classy and durable but they're not comfortable. So in buying things we should always be wise and practical in all ways and from every angle.

My Dad's Outfit of the Day a.k.a. OFTD!

Hello my dear readers... here's another special post for you and it's special because I'm going to be talking about my dad's OFTD=)

He's going to be a sponsor for one of his friend's wedding so we wanted to buy him something to wear. My mom was telling me that we could buy him a barong or barong tagalog (a barong tagalog is an embroidered formal garment in the Philippines.) and she kept telling me that papa wanted to buy one so we headed to the mall to look for a barong tagalog, black pants and a pair of black shoes to match with his outfit.

Once we got there I ended up suggesting that papa get a polo shirt instead of a barong. If we got him a barong he'd only be able to use it once or twice but if we got him a polo he'd be able to use it for other semi-formal occasions and he could probably get two. I'm a practical person but I also do my best to stay open minded so I asked my dad what he wanted to do. And since he really liked the outfits we saw he ended up going with the polo shirts along with a pair of black pants and shoes.

So anyways, when we went back home he was so excited to try on his new clothes. My mom was excited too and kept giggling and teasing papa saying that he looked so "Gwapo". Then my mom said something about taking pictures with him. That's when I thought about including him in my blog. Thanks Mama :)

So after buying him clothes and taking 8 pictures of him I like the white polo the most. I think it's simpler, more formal and clean but Chris likes the darker one.

Review: HBC's Allue My First... Nail Colour in Pimpin' Purple (nail polish review)

Hey guys. . . I have another post for you that I'm very excited to share. I haven't yet posted my shoe haul but I'm going to share this first. I'm also going to share another blog post with you after this, then I'll post my shoe haul.

So I've been procrastinating a lot lately and I've been so lazy to do things even when I haven't had a reason to feel lazy. I'm always in the house just playing with my computer and if I'm bored I watch T.V.. So there's no reason for me to feel lazy but sometimes I just can't force myself to work, specially since it gives me headaches when I do. So that's just me, at least sometimes=)

Even though I admit that I'm sometimes lazy I don't want anyone to do my nails, my makeup, blog, or Facebook pictures, etc. coz I won't be satisfied if someone else does it for me. Sometimes I'll ask Chris to do things for me but only things that I know he can help me with but doing my nails or makeup? Nahhh I don't think so.

So one night while I was playing hearts on my computer at 2:00am in the morning Chris asked me if he could paint my toenails. It hurts my back whenever I do it myself so he wanted to help me so I could write another blog post. He kept asking me over and over again but I kept on saying no coz I knew he didn't have any experience with painting nails. But he was so anxious to do it that I let him do it even though I wasn't sure if he would do a good job. I just let him know that I'd have to erase it if it didn't turn out good.

So I told him what to do, how to hold the brush applicator and how to apply it evenly without sagging. Then to my surprise with all of this and all of that it ended up turning out really good! He did a good job!

In my opinion he's better than Cheng when it comes to painting nails. He's not as good at cleaning and trimming cuticles but overall I think he's better. I salute his good work... good job my dear!

And you know what? I didn't erase them and I'm still wearing them today. I even asked him to do my toenails the next time=) Thank you dear for doing my pedicure. <3

Here's my honest opinion in regards to this nail polish:

Pros:

1. I like the color

2. It's very opaque/pigmented

3. At just P25 it's very affordable

4. It's not hard to find if you run out

5. It's matte

6. Two coats is enough

7. It's not too dramatic

8. The color is very feminine

9. It's one of my favorite nail polishes

10. It lasts for a long time. Chris painted them on October 31st and they are still perfect on November 4th (5+ days so far).

UPDATE: November 7th and they are still as good as new! They last for a long time. 8 days so far :)

Cons:

1. At just 5ml it's a really tiny bottle

Calda Pizza Dinner & Makeup Makeover for Mom :)

Hello my dearest readers, friends, and colleagues out there. I'm sorry for not posting a topic for two days. I've just been so busy with my family since my parents are visiting us here in Davao. And it makes us so happy to have family members with us we're always doing our best to treat them well while they're here.

Last Friday (night) we went out to have pizza at Calda Pizza (one of the most affordable pizza places here in Davao) with my family. We had such a nice get together, eating pizza and drinking water and coke. We all love Calda Pizza for how affordable it is and how good their pizza taste! It was a simple gathering, eating in a simple restaurant but it was full of joy=) Here are our pictures from our night out:

Then when we went home I did a makeup makeover for my mom and I gave her some of my makeup so she can use it when she goes home. So here are the pictures I took of her makeup makeover=)

For me she's always pretty and I always encourage her to dress up and make some changes. I know she's not used to it but I hope she will learn to adapt. Ever since I've always wanted her to always look so good and fashionista. So I hope she will start and change some of her style=) I love you mama and you're always my most beautiful woman, specially in my heart=)

Forever 21's Love & Beauty Nail Polish in Magenta (nail polish review)

Hello guys here's another nail polish review for you. I've always thought that I'm always starting off and saying the same thing at the beginning of all my posts but that's not really important, is it? I love sharing my thoughts with you about the things I've used (nail polishes, contact lenses and etc.) and I love reviewing them on my blog. I've found that it's easier for me to do (easier then YouTube) and it requires less effort.

So guys, I am now wearing the 2nd nail polish from the love & beauty nail polish that I got from my sister in-law. I was so impressed with the previous one that I couldn't help but try the 2nd one. I'm wearing the magenta color that has sparkles in it. My first thought was that the glitters were too chunky and that it would be really hard for me to take it off but when I applied it on my nails it seemed perfectly fine. It was a big relief to know that I wouldn't be getting disappointed over a pain in the but take-off process. So anyhow, here's my honest opinion about the nail polish.

Pros:

1. I got it as a gift from my sister in law

2. It's imported since it's US made

3. I got a chance to try them

4. I love the quality

5. It is opaque/pigmented

6. You only have to apply two coats

7. It's a 14 ml bottle which is enough to last a while

UPDATE I painted my nails with this nail polish 7 to 8 days ago and aside from a few chips I made from cutting one of my nails, the polish looks absolutely flawless. I'm impressed with Fashion 21's Love & Beauty Nail Polish's ability to last!

Cons:

1. I can't buy them here coz they're not available

2. I don't like the color

3. I need to order them from the US if I run out=(

I guess that's the only thing I know for now but I will always update my blog in case I will see some changes. I know it's brief but long explanations are useless when in the end your only going to share a few things you love and dislike about each product.
