Hamilton hardcore nutters Born Wrong have recently released a new 7″ and we thought we would share it with you, because its great. With elements of old school DC hardcore but with a very modern twist, the four track release is short and sharp but leaves an impression like a punch to the jaw. They also did a live sessions for those guys over at Southern Souls and its great too. Watch that below.

This Glasgow four piece Crusades hit hard with their post hardcore offerings. The band released their debut EP ‘Golden Throats’ to critical acclaim last year and have supported such Pink Mist related bands as Rolo Tomassi, Mutiny on the Bounty and Shapes. They have played T in the Park and Liverpool Sound City and will be opening up the first ever ArcTanGent Festival this summer. The band are currently in the studio recording the follow up to ‘Golden Throats’ due out this Autumn, but in the meantime Crusades have given Pink Mist an exclusive track ‘Dead Friends’ for our aural pleasure…

Renegade Brighton three piece Spacenoid blend post rock epicness and electro mastery with cunning mathy movements resulting in a sound not many bands can pull off. Signed to experimental art collective Beatabet, the band are moving up the ranks in their home town and are swiftly becoming ones to watch. Pink Mist unveil pop up shop at BOXPARK Shoreditch, May 6th – 12th, including signing sessions, instores and more

Pink Mist, the East London collective formed of independent labels (Big Scary Monsters, Holy Roar, Blood And Biscuits and Tangled Talk), live promoters and bloggers open their doors at 12:00pm on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May at BOXPARK Shoreditch, the world’s first pop-up mall.

Alongside limited vinyl from the labels vast and varied catalogues, including Minus The Bear, Three Trapped Tigers, Rolo Tomassi, Tall Ships, Gnarwolves, Strife, Will Haven, Cursive, Joyce Manor and loads more, there’ll also be loads of new and exclusive merch designs and a series of the collectives favourite releases from other labels such as Wichita, Transgressive, Death Waltz, Sub Pop, Fat Cat and others. Every purchase from the shop will come with a FREE 16 track Pink Mist compilation CD featuring bands from the collective.

And as if that wasn’t already enough, there’ll be a couple of special events taking place inside the Pink Mist box, including acoustic sets from Brontide and Tangled Hair from 5pm on Saturday 11th. Sad news this morning as GALLOPS have announced they’ve split. Details were unclear last week when the Wrexham 4 piece suddenly withdrew from the remaining tour dates with And So I Watch You From Afar. And it seems now that their show in Paris last week was to be their last.

The band released an EP and a 7″ before last year’s critically acclaimed debut full length ‘Yours Sincerely Dr. Hardcore’. You can stream/download all of them from the band’s bandcamp.

Razoreater make a brutal and uncompromising noise, filled to brim with intense riffs.
