I am supposed to receive more than $200 from smorty but I was surprised one day that I couldn't access to their account. I waited for one day, two days, three days and until now I'm still waiting for their site to appear. At first, I could still search it on google but one day, I was totally disappointed that I can't even see their page on google. I think the famous site already vanished. What's wrong? The Mansion in Baguio City

We were taking a walk at the Wright Park and when we reached the road, I saw that the opposite road is the gate of the Mansion House. The Mansion or formerly know as the Mansion House in Baguio City is just opposite the Wright Park. Wow~ two birds in one shot. There were many people so we crossed the road and went in. The best thing in Baguio is, there's no admission fee. We never paid for the entrance fee. This Mansion has a gate but it's still free.

Too bad that the Mansion is not open for the public. You just have to stay outside to see the outer part of Mansion. Lots of people take pictures with the mansion. I wonder what's inside the Mansion. I really want to see what it looks like inside like what I did when I visited the Mansion in Thailand.

Mansion in Baguio looks smaller than the other mansions that I know. But I'm amazed with the location. It is built in a huge land with a big front and backyard.

I think everyone will have a second look when you pass by the Mansion.

Wright Park

Wright Park is another famous park in Baguio City, Philippines. It is known as the "Pool of Pines" and it is one of the most beautiful and relaxing parks in Baguio. It is located on the Eastern part of the City and it's just in front of the Mansion. Just cross the street and you can visit the two famous sites in Baguio.

I think it's more beautiful if the water is clear. Anyway, it's still a great place for taking a walk with your loveone while holding hand in hand. Or just relax and feel the beauty of the nature. It's so relaxing and comfortable to walk here in the park.

Actually I didn't have any plan on which site I had to visit. I just take a taxi or take a jeepney and when I see the signs of the jeepney, I tell the driver and will ask him to get me off. It's not hard for a tourist to stay in Baguio because the sites are close to each other and there are many transportations that you can use. In my case, we waited for a jeepney at the Botanical Garden, then I saw a sign that the jeepney will stop at the Wright Park so I told the driver to get me off there. Just simple as that.

I don't know how it happens. Anyway, we got off the jeepney, looked around, and then climbed up the stairs and we reached the park (pictures on top). And then, in front is the Mansion.

Wright Park is also the best place for horseback-riding.

Camp John Hay

One of the most popular attractions to visit in Baguio is Camp John Hay. It is former rest & recreation facility for American soldiers in Asia. It is also called the "Little America". I heard that there are two entrances going to Camp John Hay. But because it was my first time in Baguio, I don't know anything in Baguio so I usually take a taxi when I go to some famous places that I wanted to visit. So, I took a taxi and I don't know which gate the driver took me.

Camp John Hay is too big that we couldn't look all around because we didn't have enough time. But I can say that we had a good time and it was relaxing to sit under the trees. It is also a great course for walking. It's cool and relaxing.

If you're tired walking around, just ride a horse. And that's guy whose taking care of the horses well.

The beautiful trees which I think is so romantic to walk with your loveone while holding hands. Or just play or tell stories under the trees.

The gate is too far to walk with so we waited for a taxi to come. There are many taxi drivers who get inside to take their passengers so you can just wait inside if you're tired of walking.

You can just sit back and relax under the trees while waiting for a taxi. You won't get bored. Never!

Botanical Garden

Don't miss Botanical Garden if you happen to visit Baguio. From Mines Park, you can take a jeepney to Botanical Garden. There are jeepneys park in front of the Park and just say to the driver to get you off at Botanical Garden. As soon as you get off, you'll see the tribes taking pictures with the tourists. You pay and you can take pictures with them if you want to

Mines View Park

Another famous attraction in Baguio is the Mines View Park. I took a taxi to the park. From downtown, I think I paid about 200 pesos. It's not about the taxi fee, it's about the beautiful scene that I have seen in Mines View Park. I traveled a lot. I've traveled to different countries and I can say that Mines View Park is one of the best place that I've been to. It's much better than the places that I've visited in some other countries.

Can you see the beautiful view? Yes, this beautiful view is only seen in Baguio. Only in Baguio, Philippines. No wonder why it is famous for Filipino and Foreign Tourists.

If you wanna have a photo souvenir, these horses are ready to be ridden for picture-taking. Just pay 10 pesos for each picture taken.

Outside the park are lots of stores where you can buy souvenirs from Baguio or the park itself. There are lots of stores with lots of stuffs to buy in a very affordable prices. I think it's the best place to shop for souvenirs.

Baguio Strawberry Farm

Baguio is famous for strawberries so don't forget to visit the Strawberry Farm if you're in Baguio. It's a very memorable experience to pick some strawberries specially for kids. From downtown, we took a taxi to Strawberry farm because I don't know how to get there. I paid about 150 pesos to the farm. It's more expensive to pick some strawberries than to buy in the market but it's the experience that count. Besides, you can eat as much as you can while picking so if you love strawberries, you can save more. I recommend you to eat as much as you can and just bring the ones that you are going to pay. If you buy in the market it's just 50 pesos per kilo but if you pick, you have to pay 200 pesos.

Anyway, here's where we can pick strawberries. It's hot but it's fun. The owner will give you a small box or basket where you can put the strawberries. Then you have to pay depends on how much you want. In my case, I paid a kilo but we were full before we left the farm.

And here's the market just next to the farm. A market where you can buy some strawberry products like strawberry jam, fresh strawberries, strawberry ice cream, etc.

Okie, Okie... I already told my boss that I'm gonna quit my job. We got the airplane ticket and we're just gonna wait for our flight schedule. It still takes long but it's better to reserve now than to be late. We already paid for our ticket and everything is already planned. My boss thought that I'm gonna stay here in the Island until May because that's what I have told him when he hired me. He said he can't do anything but to hire another worker to take over my position. Well, I'm ready and I just need to wait for a new employee so I can leave. Anyway, Im gonna stay here in the Island until March but my hubby told me to work just until next month or it's better if I could quit earlier. I have discussed it to my boss and he said I can leave as soon as a new worker comes.

Hmmm... I feel sad and happy at the same time. I'm sad because even it's irritating sometimes, my working place serves as my second house here in Jeju Island. But I'm happy too because I don't have to get up early, I can take a rest and I can stay with my hubby all day. hehe...

Happy Weekend

Before it was a Happy Friday now it's a happy weekend? Why? Because I work until Saturday. Too bad! There's nothing much to do every saturday but still I have to stay in the office and I have to wake up in the morning. Last night, I was too sleepy so I fell asleep while watching TV around 8p.m. At 11:30 p.m. I woke up and watched TV again. I had to watch my favorite program on TV. It's a documentary about the life in the North Pole. The life of the penguins and other animals living there and how the professionals do something to save the lives of the animals and the country. I'm glad that there are Koreans, Japanese, Australians, etc. who are concerned about that matter.

Anyway, I woke up at 11:30 so I missed almost half of the show. And then I tried to sleep again when it finished but I couldn't sleep until 5:30 a.m. My alarmed rang 5x and I couldn't wake. I didn't wanna go to work but I had no choice. I'm glad that I'm not sleepy now. Thanks because I can blog at work so I can't fall asleep.

I'm waiting for the right time to tell my boss that I'm gonna quit soon. I want to tell him that I'm gonna work only until next month. My co-workers already knew that I'm quitting except my boss so he found it out, he would get angry. He always gets angry when he knows things later than us. Sometimes we don't have the courage to tell him something so we say it to our co-workers. We talk about something when we have lunch together. Besides my boss is always not around and when we comes in, he just stays for a while and leave. Of if he stays longer and tell something, it's hard for him understand everything. Even our co-workers who are older than him can't understand him. They said it's hard to have a conversation with him.

I don't think my boss is strict. Actually, he's kind that's why my co-workers can do everything. Others come late and leave early. Others come on time but go home when they have nothing to do and come again after a few hours. Well, you think I don't do anything? Well, I'm blogging but I always do my job well. Everyknows that except you. hehe...

High-Tech World

My job is more on making and receiving phone calls and chatting. For me who is a foreigner, is more comfortable to chat or send messages than to make a phone call. But sometimes, some agents are not online so I can't chat them and I have no choice but to call them. I can send text messages but I only have to write short messages. I have thought of some ways on what to do but my idea wasn't good enough so I tried to search on the net. I found this mobile twitter where I can write long messages. I can write more than 140 characters so I don't need to cut my message or use some shortcut words that others hard to understand.

I'm sure you're familiar with the site. It's one of the most famous site all over the globe. My friend said only stupid ones don't know about it. We are now living in a high-tech world and everything is much easier than before. Thanks to mobile twitter and my work will be easier and more comfortable. I can now write longer on twitter using my mobile phone. It's also great for the improvement and development of my boss' business. Coffee Break

Wanna have some coffee? It's my coffee break. Koreans always have some coffee after lunch specially when they eat meal at the restaurant. There are some coffee vendors in most restaurants and the coffee is free. We also have here at work. Actually it's 200won for each cup but for us workers it's free. I have the key and whenever my co-worker want some coffee I open the machine, get some coins and insert them so the coffee will come out. My evening shift co-worker drinks coffee at least 5 times. Koreans drink much coffee. I wonder how can they sleep at night. At first, it was also strange for me to see them drinking coffee in the afternoon. It's strange for them to drink coffee in the morning. They don't know that coffee is more delicious in the morning.

Anyway, let's have some coffee. I just had lunch and I can't start my job without drinking coffee after lunch.

I have mentioned many times that we are here in Jeju Island for our vacation. Some of my friends told me to send some postcards of the beautiful island. I have bought some but I don't have any envelopes yet. I went to the supermarket and stationery store to buy envelopes but I couldn't find what I was looking for so I tried to search on the net. I'm so lucky to find different kinds of envelopes in different sizes, colors, weights and materials. The envelopes with vibrant colors caught my attention. They are perfect. Just the right one that I'm looking for. There are also envelopes for packaging so I can send not only postcards but also remembrance from Jeju Island.

Wow, now I agree with my hubby when he said that the world is so wonderful because you can find everything online. You can't only get some informations but also get the perfect thing that you're looking for. No matter what it is, online shopping is always available. I think envelopes are a must have items for us who love to travel. Don't you think so?

I have nothing to do

Again, I'm alone in the office because holiday is until today. One of my co-workers came this morning and she already left. One of them will come this afternoon and another one tonight. Some of them were sent to their home and I'm not that lucky one. My boss said no one can't do my work. It's the same thing that he can't trust anyone with my job. Oppsss.. You think my boss can do it for me? Never! hehehe...

Opppss, one of my co-workers came now. But like me, she also has nothing to do. At least I have a computer here but she doesn't have any. hehe... Well, well, she said we need to take a rest during the days like this. I guess she's right.

Okay, Okay, I'm gonna tell you about our next plan. I have mentioned that we are going to travel a few months later. Our plan is to go to the United States and Canada. I have sent an email to my friend who lives in the US and asked some information about the country. I asked the accommodations and how much we need to spend if we stay there for at least two months. I also checked out on the net about the transportations, ticket, etc.

What are some activities that we can do in the US? Well, I want something different this time. Do you think taking Chicago Limos is the best experience that we can have? I think so, too! Okay, there are many options to choose for our next trip. We were confused and we had to think of some consequences. Actually, we didn't know where to go yet but because we love traveling and it's our plan to travel abroad after our vacation here in the Island, so we have to leave. My hubby asked me some of his plans and I think the last option was not bad.

Last night, we both couldn't sleep. Maybe because we are thinking of what to do after living the Island. I can't explain my feeling. I was so thrilled, happy, puzzled and excited. I slept in the morning. I lay down on the bed, then moved to the living room. I just lay down but couldn't sleep at all. My hubby read books, watched tv, used the internet, etc. Around 6:30 in the morning, I went back to bed again and my hubby was searching on the net.

When I woke up, my hubby was holding our passport and he said that he already made a reservation. When are we going? It's a secret for this time because he said if we don't like it, we can change our plan and cancel our ticket. hehe...

Getting addicted with online shopping

I think my hubby is getting addicted with online shopping. He ordered three products last week and he's still checking out on what to order. It's good for me because most of the products that he gets are for me. Just today that his backpack has arrived. We got parcels today, one is a present from a friend and another one for backpack that he ordered online. We are still waiting for the rest of the orders tomorrow until yesterday because he also ordered a machine use for a straight hair. I have one but he said it's not a good one so he ordered another another one. He also ordered kanebos or one that we insert on our shoes to increase our height. He also said that he will get sneakers before we leave. Also, he found out that my new cosmetics; the toner, emulsion and cream is better than my former brand so he checked out on the net and said that he would it online next time.

Oh well, you think he's getting addicted with online shopping? Well, I think he enjoys it and I'm also happy for that. Besides, he orders not only for him but most of his orders are for me. But it's still unusual because he's a man who loves online shopping. hehe...

I woke up late today and my phone kept ringing but I wan't willing to answer it because the telephone number wasn't register on my cellphone. I thought it was a phone call from work. It's my vacation today so I don't wanna answer any call from work. My cellphone kept ringing. Two cellphone numbers that kept calling me so I decided to answer it. The first phone call was from the post office delivery man who was waiting outside because somebody sent me a present for this coming Chinese New Year. The other phone call was from the one who sent me the present because the delivery man called her and asked the exact address. I realized that I didn't give her the exact address. I just didn't know about it because I'm living in a lodge that we rent for a year so I din't know exactly the address.

Sorry Ms. Lee for disturbing you today and thanks a lot for the present! Mwaaahhh~.. I also feel so sorry to Mr. Delivery man for not answering the phone and kept you waiting long.

Living in the countryside

Let's save the world! Let's start to plant trees, vegetables and raise animals. It can't only help save our planet but it can also help provide our needs. Me, who is living in apartment building in the City always want to live in the countryside with lots of vegetables in the garden, lots of trees and lots of animals. I don't need a big house. Just a simple hut with a big garden is enough for me. I want to plant some vegetables in the backyard, plant some trees that bear fruits and raise some poulty animals like chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, etc.

I think life in the country is simple, quiet and have lots of fun. My hubby who loves animals also want to live in the country someday. I'm sure he can raise poultries and I can plant some vegetables so we don't need to make much money to survive. Does my boss reading my blog? Because I told him that I wanted a vacation so he asked me what the reason is. I couldn't say anything because he said I can receive a vacation if I'm sick, tired, stressful etc. How can I say that I want to use the rest of my vacation at home just because I can't use them later? As what I've said, I'm quitting but I haven't told him yet that I'm leaving. Well, I think my boss is just stressful with my co-workers now a days because they don't work well. But they have the reasons of not working hard because my boss is getting too strict now a days. They say even if they work hard, my boss can't see or appreciate their work. My co-workers are quitting one by one and I'm gonna follow them not because of his attitude but because my hubby has decided to leave the Island. I'm also gonna quit soon but I have to get a right time to discuss him about it later. First I have to get my vacation and tell him about this quitting issue.

Land for Sale

We visited Australia last year. While traveling, we walked around and visited some agencies to see if there's land for sale that we could buy just in case we immigrate to Australia. Australia is a good place to live in so if we have a chance, we want to immigrate in that beautiful country. We checked the prices of some houses posted on the wall of some real state agencies and we found out that the houses are too expensive. That's why I was surprise when I saw this land for sale at Manor Lakes. The community which is designed for a lifetime. There are schools, parks, shops and everything that family could need.

It's hard to believe that you can own your home for just $350 a week. I can't imagine having a house with that amount of money because when we stayed there, we paid $250 every week for our accommodations. It was a guesthouse where we lived with the owner. I'm willing to pay a hundred bucks more if I have to live with my hubby alone. Besides, it's wonderful if we have our own home. I wish I could go back to Australia again and live there if possible. I'm very much interested in living there specially now that I found out a site where we can get a house and lot package at Manor Lakes for a very affordable price.

I love my net book

My co-worker asked me which one is better, a laptop or a netbook? I answered a laptop if they will just use it at home but a net book if they use it for traveling. I have a net book and I love it so much because I can carry it wherever I go. It's small but cute. I sometimes have a hard time when I play a game but i'm very much satisfied with it. I always dream of having a laptop but when my hubby bought a net book, I think it's much better than the laptop that I always wanted to have.

My hubby bought me this net book before we left for the Island. My hubby also said that it's comfortable and he's also satisfied with it. At first, I usually carry it whenever we leave. I always put it in my bag when we go out but now a days I don't do it anymore. My hubby said that my bag is heavy and it's not advisable to carry it specially when we go to the mountain. I think he's right.
