It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value. We publish below a description of use of water for our readers. For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following diseases:
Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, gastritis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, womb, cancer and menstrual disorders, ear nose and throat diseases.

It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.
Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.
Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
A serious note about heart attacks:
· Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting,
· Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
· You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.
· Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.
· 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.

Rules and Regulations:

1. All Participants are required to complete and sign the Official Entry form containing the requisite Waiver/Release declaration. Submission of the signed Official Entry form or participation in the race as a registered Participant (even in the absence of a genuine signature in the Official Entry form) shall serve as conclusive confirmation of (a) the Participant’s consent to the Waiver/Release printed in the Official Entry form and (b) the Participant’s agreement to abide by the rules and regulations of the 2ND FINEX FUN RUN 3K, 5K, 10K and 16K Run

2. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organizers to ensure the Participants’ safety, it is understood that Participants run at their own risk and the Organizers shall be not be responsible or held liable for any injury, disability or death arising from training or occurring during participation in the race. Participants are strongly encouraged to undergo medical check-up and/or consult medical practitioners prior to registration and before the actual race day.

3. Participants must wear the assigned Bib Number on his/her chest. Electronic timing chip must be attached on his/her shoes. The chip must be secured by participants to their shoes prior to the race. No chip, no time. Participants not wearing Bib Number / Timing Chip will be taken off the course and is not allowed to win.

4. Partial Road Closure will be lifted after two and a half (2.5) hours from the commencement of the first race. Participants will then continue on the footpath at their own risk.

5. A Participant must retire from the race immediately, if required to do so by any member of the official medical staff, Race Director, and Security Officer.

6. Pets, bicycles, in-line skates, prams, push carts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers and any other wheel run objects are not allowed on the course other than official race and medical vehicles.

7. Once registration has been duly processed, there will be no entry fee refund for Participants who for whatever reason do not eventually take part in the 2nd FINEX FUN RUN 3K, 5K, 10K and 16K Run

8. There will be no entry fee refund if the event is cancelled on account of force majeure or for causes beyond the reasonable control of the Organizers.

9. The Organizers reserve the right to use any photographs (including those of Participants), motion pictures, recordings or any other media records of the 2nd FINEX FUN RUN 3K, 5K, 10K and 16K Run for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising, without giving monetary consideration to any Participant.

10. The Organizers reserve the right to limit and/or refuse entries without giving any reason.

11. The Organizers will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete entry details.

12. Race category and race entry are strictly non-transferable.

13. Participants who commence before the actual start time of his/her Race will be disqualified. (Please refer to start time of each race).

14. Participants under 18 years must have the waiver signed by a parent.

15. All winners must be physically present and must show a valid I.D to receive their awards and prizes during the awarding ceremony. The Organizers shall have the right to forfeit the prizes (whether in cash or in kind) of winners who are not physically present during the awarding ceremony.

16. The organizers decision is final.

17. For prize winners or possible prize winners, disputes and appeals must be made on-the-spot within 30 minutes of the published results on the results notice board on-site or immediately after the prize presentation, whichever comes first.

18. For all other Participants, disputes and appeals regarding the results must be submitted in a written format, including electronic mail within 3 days of race day.

19. The Organizers reserves the right to require the Participant to present official documents necessary to support the disputes or appeals made.

Road Race is one of UP IE Club's annual events for the UP IE Club Scholarship Fund, where teams of four complete challenges in a route around the metropolis, similar to the reality game show The Amazing Race. Now on its tenth year, UP IE Club’s Road Race once again promotes health, wellness and adventure for fitness-conscious urbanites. RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Participants below 18 years old must have their entry form signed by a parent/guardian.
2. Race bib numbers and electronic timing chip must be worn at all times during the race. Bib numbers should be pinned in front of your running shirt. And chip must be attached to your shoes.
3. All protests related to the results must be made in writing and submitted to the Race Organizer within 30 minutes after the official announcement of winners.

Rules & Regulations:
1. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by the organizers to ensure the participants' safety, it is understood that participants run at their own risk and the Organizers and/or Sponsors shall not be responsible or held liable for any injury, disability or death arising from training or occurring during participation in the race.
2. Participants must wear the assigned bib and tag number on his/her chest. Participants not wearing a bib will be taken off the course by security officers.
3. There will be no entry fee refund if the event is cancelled on account of force majeure or for causes beyond the reasonable control of the organizers.
4. The Organizers reserve the right to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or other media records for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising without giving monetary consideration to any participant
5. The Organizers reserve the right to limit and/or refuse entries without giving any reason.
6. The Organizers will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete entry details.
7. Race category and race entry are strictly non-transferable.
8. All winners must be physically present to receive their awards and prizes during the awarding ceremony. The Organizers shall have the right to forfeit the prizes of winners who are not physically present during the awarding ceremony.
9. The Organizers' decision is final.
10. For prize winners or possible prize winners, disputes and appeals must be made on-the-spot within 30 minutes of the published results on the results notice board on-site or immediately after the prize presentation whichever comes first.
11. For all participants, disputes and appeals regarding the results must be submitted in a written format, including electronic mail within 3 days of the race. Organizers reserve the rights not to entertain any dispute or appeal thereafter

As an action and adventure channel, AXN is best known for our adrenaline-pumping lifestyle events such as AXN Big Challenge, AXN Xtreme and of course, our very own Emmy-nominated original production The Amazing Race Asia (TARA). Registration period starts on July 16, 2011.

FS Run 2011 Rules and Regulations:
1. All fees are non-refundable
2. Singlet will be given upon payment and submission of each accomplished and signed registration form
3. The race number is non-transferrable and must be securely pinned in front of the shirt at all times
4. Color coded loop cord must be taken at the turn around point and must be presented at the finish line
5. All winners must be physically present to receive the award
6. Verbal protests will not be entertained. All protests must be submitted in writing within 30 minutes after the end of the race
7. The event curfew hours is 3 hours after the start of the race. Sweep vehicle will pick up runners along the route. Participants who wish not to be picked up must run/walk on the foot path at their own risk
8. All finishers will receive a certificate of participation
9. The organizers reserve the right to refuse or disqualify any of the above-said rules and regulations they may deem necessary to ensure the success of the event
10. The organizer's decision is final

On its third year, 2nd Avenue-Earth Run 2011 goes nationwide with three legs to be held in Metro Manila, Davao and Cebu.

After last years successful event, where over 8,000 runners took to the street to show their support for the environment, this year Solar Entertainment Network’s Earth Run 2011 looks to be even bigger and better. Divided between the networks three banner channels, ETC, 2nd Avenue and Jack TV, now runners and nature lovers from around the country can come together and run for a good cause.

For the 3rd consecutive year, Earth Run has chosen Greenpeace as its beneficiary. Greenpeace, is an international environmental organization that acts to change attitudes and behavior, to protect and conserve the environment and to promote peace. Here in the Philippines, the organization and its supporters are focused on promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency, a nuclear-free Pilipinas, and keeping waterways clean.
