Excited for Valentines day !

Valentines day is fast approaching.I am sure all the couples are excited for that special day.A romantic day filled with love.I guess many couples now are starting to think on how they gonna spend their Valentines Day.Maybe some men as early as now were already thinking on what floral arrangement they gonna choose for their special someone.

As always women are excited to receive those beautiful bouquets of flowers,chocolates and some other gifts aside from the romantic dinner :)

Fortress in Peniscola Spain

When we stayed in Peniscola,we went to the fortress,visited the castle and it's old town.It was a huge fortress with a great overlooking view of the Peniscola beach.We went there twice coz I couldn't get over the spectacular view.Going up was so tiring but it was all worth it.

Sieving granular materials

My husband was watching a tv program the other day that tackles building construction.Some men were assessing the granular materials such as soil,sand,rocks and some other grading particles.I asked my husband why do they do that,he told me that they were using test sieves.It's really important to have a good test sieves when constructing a building.It helps to ensure the accurate specification of particles and also to attain a solid and durable construction.

So now I understand why they were sifting the granular materials.Just like the importance of sifting powdered ingredients when I am baking ckes.

11th year wedding anniversary

We will be celebrating our 11th year wedding anniversary soon.I can't really believe how time flies so fast.I am happy that we have surpassed the seven year itch and we are together more than a decade now.Everytime I look at our wedding photos,I always had a special look at our wedding rings.For me,it's simple but very precious.I know many couple wanted to have one of those titanium wedding bands,who doesn't want to have those beautiful and elegant wedding bands,right?For me,simple bands or not,the important is how you prove your love to your spouse.

Every year is an accomplishment for us.Now that we are more than a decade,it really makes me feel good knowing that we hold on to our love and promise to each other.

Peniscola beach,Spain

In our 2nd week stay in Spain,we stayed one week in Peniscola.It is part of Castellon,a Valencian community in Spain.I love more the Peniscola beach than the beach in la Pineda.The beach there is more clean and not as crowded as the beaches in the Costa Dorada region.

Wanted to hide those cable cords

It's been a while that I told my husband about the cable cords in our home.I really don't like seeing it.For me it's not beautiful to look at.I told him that we have to buy a cable cover to hide those cable cords.He always said yes but always forget to do it.

Little by little we made some renovations in our home.My husband doesn't want to rush things and likes to take his time.He only do things he wanted yet there are so many things that need to be done in our house.I just hope that he will have the courage to make some works this year so that we can invite his family here in our home.

Just like what I have written in my other post we went to the department store the other day.We saw Santa Claus and his friends and we took pictures with them.My son was very happy to mingle with them even for a short time.

We also took some pictures in some of the christmas decorations in the department store.

Old Town in Tarragona,Spain

One of the places that a tourist must visit in Tarragona is the Old Town which is I think near the Passeig Arqueologic.We really like strolling around the place.My husband likes to see old buildings and old church,so when we were there,he was so delighted on what he saw.

Simple christmas dinner

Since it's only us,we will just have a simple christmas eve dinner at home.So yesterday we went to the department store.It was very crowded.People were doing their last shopping just like us :)Before heading to the grocery store,we passed by a flower shop that has many beautiful bouquets of flowers.All I could say was wow!As much as I wanted to have one,I'll just wait till Valentines day coz I am sure my husband will give me one.Instead we bought a poinsettia,a nice flower in time for christmas.

So after that,we went straight to the grocery store and bought smoked salmon,fois gras and a mix seafood pack.My husband will prepare a seafood dish and maybe I will just bake a cake for our dessert and that's it.I think,even just the smoked salmon and fois gras with bread are enough to stuff our stomachs :)

The Roman Amphitheater of Tarragona Spain

One of the places to visit in Costa Dorada region is Tarragona.Tarragona has several beautiful attractions such as museums,churches and ruins.One of those is the The Roman Amphitheater and is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage.It is situated close to the seashore and Rambla Vella.

La Pineda beach is just few minutes walk away from Estival Park Hotel.We went to the beach every other day or if we already had enough swimming at the pool.We really enjoyed the long sandy beaches of La Pineda.Me and my son had fun swimming while my husband just stayed at the shore watching us :)

By the way,La Pineda is very close to the theme parks.The Aquopolis water park and Port Aventura.

I love watching videos on You tube.It's my favorite past time!Everyday I never fails to open the site and watch videos of my favorite songs and movies.I love cooking and baking so I usually look for some new recipes there too.I read that people can now download videos on youtube by using youtube video downloader it would be great to have my favorite videos,I hope I can try it soon.

I am so thankful of youtube coz I learn so many things.Just type on the search engine and voila!you will be answered.A big THANKS to all the uploaders coz without them we can't watch the informative videos.I love You Tube!!!!

Estival Park Hotel and Resort,Spain

When we went to Spain,in our first week,we stayed at Estival Park Hotel and Resort.It's located in La Pineda,near Tarragona City.It's a very nice resort,very huge and has lots of amenities.

It's so convenient coz if we want to swim,they have several large swimming pools and if we want to go to the shore,we just walk 5 minutes and we are at the long beach of La Pineda.By the way we stayed in one of their apartments.

Buying christmas gifts

The other day we went to the department store to buy some christmas gifts.At first we passed by at the watch store.We saw some nice watches just like the St. Moritz watches that we saw on the net.I am sure those watches would be a nice christmas presents for loveones.If my husband didn't give me a watch on my birthday,I would probably like to have a watch as my christmas gift from him.

After looking at the watches,we headed straight to the department store.We went there without our son.We wanted him to think that it's Santa Claus who gives gifts.Since he already told us what he wanted to receive so we just bought the remote control Yoshi Kart he like,some disney story books and clothes.I am sure he gonna love it!

Gifts to my family

Every December,I give gifts to my family.Normally I give them money and buy the clothes they wanted but with a specific budget of course.But for my father,maybe I will give something different this time.I saw some nice and cheap portable radios on the net.Since he likes to listen to AM and FM radio stations,I guess it would be a nice gift for him.I am sure he would love and be happy to have it.

My siblings and cousins are already excited to shop.I told them,they have to wait till the middle of December coz maybe there will be some sales in different stores.With that,they can buy more clothes for the same budget I gave to them just like last year.

National Museum of Art of Catalunya,Barcelona

After we went to Monjuic Castle,we went to National Museum of Art of Catalunya since it wasn't so far away.We went there to see the Magic Fountain which is located at the same place.Magic Fountain is a spectacular display of lights,colors and music together.It's a must see in Barcelona at night.

When we were there,it was still in the afternoon,so it was just a normal fountain.It will change into magical at night.Too bad,my son was so grumpy at that day and my husband didn't want to stay long.

Home staging

Yesterday,I was watching a tv program which helps home owners who have difficulties to sell their houses.Since there are many houses and apartments are for sale nowadays,selling is very difficult and there are lots of competitors.With the help of the tv program,the featured houses were undergone home staging.Home staging gave a new look to the house and it helps the owner to sell their home fast.

The house that they featured has a problem of the interior,some of the wall papers were already torn and needs to be paint.One thing that I liked and I really noticed the nice clawfoot tub in one of the bathrooms.I am sure,the future buyers would like to have that kind of a bathtub.

I really like how they turned the interior so beautiful.The modern and contemporary style of home staging really gives a big plus.

Christmas gift for our son

Christmas is fast approaching.We still have a month left to think on what gifts we will give to our son.The other day,he told us that he wanted to have a Magic Orbeez maker as well as the Orbeez Refill .He said that it must be fun to have it coz it bounce,it becomes bigger when soaked in the water and also they are multicolored.Just thinking of it makes him so excited to play it.

Looking at the tv ad,I must say it's a cool and fun activity toy.A nice christmas gift to our son.

I told him,he has to start writing a letter to Santa Claus,maybe he will grant his wish if he remains nice :)

I was sick

I was sick,weak and feel so tired two weeks ago.So I went to the hospital and had a check up.The nurse with her medication cart checked my blood pressure and sugar level and also took some blood and my urine for laboratory test.

Thank God,I feel ok now.The medicines they gave me really work.I am also happy that my laboratory test results were all ok.I really don't like being sick coz I am afraid having any illness.Now that I am ok,I can sleep well at night.

Montjuic Castle in Barcelona,Spain

Montjuic Castle is one of the famous landmarks in Barcelona.It is located on the top of the hill overlooking the harbour and the whole city.

If you want to have a nice look of the whole city and at the same time to see a historical fortress,visit the Montjuic Castle.

You can go there by car,bus and by cable car.Too bad,we haven't had the chace to ride the cable car that time due to the bad weather.
