Oh I just love those silver chains that I saw in the jewelry store yesterday!The designs are nice and they are not expensive.I usually drop by at the jewelry store nearby whenever we go to the mall.I just look around and see their new collections.I usually do window shopping :)I hope my husband would buy me one.

Too bad I can't wear some kind of metal jewelries because of my allergy.Mostly if it has some nickel.

Tara na Biyahe Tayo is one of the tourism jingles of the Philippines.It showcases the different beautiful tourist destinations,sumptous food and the culture and traditions of our country.If only I live in the Philippines and have the means to travel and discover each cities and places,I would love to do it.My country is so beautiful and it deserves to have a place in one of the tourists destinations in the world.I just hope that more and more tourists and travellers will visit the Philippines.I am proud of my country!

Buying wholesale products

I like buying stuffs on the net not only they are more affordable compare to normal stores here but also there are many choices.A friend of mine told me that she had saved a lot of money by buying wholesale products.She has to buy by bulk in order to save a lot.What she did is she convinced our other friends to buy with her.I told her the next time they will buy some clothes and shoes,she must inform me.

Nowadays it's good to be practical.I only buy if it's good quality but in a good price too.I don't want to spend a lot of money on a thing that is not very important.

Our plasma tv stand

We already have a wooden tv stand for our big plasma tv.But sometimes I couldn't stop looking for the other types and styles of tv stands.I told my husband before that I prefer that we buy a tv stand with mount coz I want our tv to be elevated enough.And also to have enough space to put our audio components.

But my husband said that we have to uniform all the furnitures at home.And since all our furnitures are in wood,we have to buy a tv stand that is also in wood.Luckily,we found a nice wooden tv stand that is the same style with our other furnitures.We are very satisfied with our purchase.

El Magic Resort,Samal Island

Philippines has many islands with beautiful white sand beaches.Samal island is one of them.There are lots of beach resorts there in Samal from high to lower end,it depends on your budget.You can go to Pearl Farm and Bali Bali beach resort if you want to be pampered.

El Magic was one of the beach resorts we went.It's just a small resort with more than 10 cottages with videoke machine.Since,I brought almost of my relatives,mother and father side I chose a resort with a lower entrance but nice.

Playing yoyo

When I was a child,me and my siblings like to play yoyo.That time,we were so happy when our parents bought yoyos to each one of us.I remember,it was very popular to children even to adults.It was a hit toy before.A favorite pastime.There was even a competition for yoyo tricks.

Now that my son is big enough,I wanted to buy a duncan yoyo for him to try it.I am sure he gonna love yo-yo as much as I love it before.I wanted him to try something different aside from playing computer and console games.

Door protection

It's been a while that I have been telling my husband to paint our front door.The paint is fading and there are lots of scratches at the lower part.We couldn't avoid kicking the door's lower part whenever we open it especially if we carry a lot of things.That is why I told him that we should buy a door kick plate for protection.If we repaint the door and put the protection I am sure it will not be worn out too soon.

As usual he always said yes and yes but no action.Sigh....I understand him,there are many things that are more important to be done first in our home before we paint our door.Until now our bathroom and toilette are not yet done.He already started the two but stopped.I hope he will finish it this summer.

If you are Filipino and want to visit Madrid,one interesting place to visit is the monument of Dr Jose Rizal in Islas Filipinas.It was for the commemoration of the 100th year of Philippine independence from spanish colonization.I was really proud being a Pinoy when I visited the place and it was really overwhelming knowing that our national hero statue was there and even named the street to our country's name.

Barbecue and grill

The other day I told my husband that we will do barbecue outside.Normally,as soon as the weather is getting warmer we put our table and chairs outside and eat in our terrace and do barbecue.It would be nicer if our grill is like one of those weber grills.

We still did barbecue today but in our oven.I did pinoy chicken and pork barbecue.It would be better if we cook it with charcoal.Too bad,it rained here this morning and kind'a cold outside too.But my husband promise me that next week,he will clean our charcoal grill outside.

Replacing our tv remote control

Our plasma tv has been with us for almost 4 years now.We use it everyday almost all day long especially if Alex is at home and no class.It's been months that we have difficulty using our remote control.It's because my son frequently drops it.Everytime we want to higher or lower the sound,we have to push or press the button very hard.We really have to replace it.

We are thinking of buying a new one just like the harmony remotes that we saw on the net.However,while waiting for the new one,my husband already told my son not to drop and be careful to our tv remote control since it's more fragile now.

There are many beautiful places to see in Barcelona.Some of the landmarks that we have visited were the Sagrada Familia Church, Parc Guell,Casa Batllo, La Pedrera or Casa Mila, Montjuic Castle and National Museum of Art of Catalunya.All these places are worth visiting.

You will see the panoramic view of the whole Barcelona if you go to Montjuic Castle.It's really a breathtaking place.And if you want to witness the Magical fountain show,just go to the National Museum of Art of Catalunya in the evening.

Victorian style furnitures

When I was browsing some photos online,my attention was caught by a beautiful house with elegant furnitures inside.All furnitures are in victorian style.Some of the chairs are like the cheap chaise lounges that I saw on the net.Usually rich people have these kind of house interiors.They love the old elegant and sophisticated style fixtures and furnitures.However I like the contemporary style.

I really dream to have that kind of house.If only I have lots of money,I would probably have the same house :)

Working in our yard

It's been days that we have warm weather here.Usually at this time we have rains and some cold temperatures but I was surprised to have a summer like weather.The other day we cleaned our front and backyard.I was wondering if it's good to put a gazebo in our backyard coz we found a nice but not so expensive gazebo kit in the store.If only we have a big lot in our backyard,I guess it would be great.

We wanted to continue cleaning our yard but we are still very tired until now.Maybe tomorrow we will resume cleaning our yard.There are still many things that have to be done in our garden.We have to cut and pull out all the big pine trees and trim the bushes.

Portugal vacation 2012

We are going in Portugal again this summer for a 2 week vacation.It was year 2009 The last time we visited and stayed in Lisbon and Villamoura and some other nearby cities.This time we will stay in Albufiera.We went to Albufiera before but never had a chance to explore the place.Now that we have ample time,we will surely visit this beautiful place in Algarve region of Portugal.

Graduation

I belong to a big clan,both in my mom and my dad sides.This year,some of my relatives will graduate in elementary and in high school.I am happy that they are doing good at school.Some of them have honors and awards.A girl cousin of mine who gaduated in high school wanted to have one of those high school class rings for girls.Her classmates suggested it.They wanted to have class rings as souvenir.

I don't know if they will have joint celebration.It' nice if they have so that there will only be one gathering for our families and relatives.

Arranging our garage

Whenever we go in our garage,we always had a hard time to pass.It's because some of the tools,equipments and some boxes that are full of stuffs are on the garage floor.I told my husband to buy the same steel shelving that we had before.Too bad,we left it in our previous house when we sold it.

I really want that we arrange his tools and other stuffs coz I can't stand anymore a cluttered garage.This summer we have a big cleaning and arrangingto do.

Spring is approaching!

Spring is approaching and weather is getting better and better.It would be nice to just sit in the garden and watch the flowers and trees.And it would be much nicer if using the Adirondack chairs plastic.Just relaxing and having a quite time.

Though spring is still approaching,I am more excited for summer.We already booked and we will be away for almost 3 weeks.We will go again to the sunny place Portugal.We will be staying in the 2 resorts in Albufeira,the southern part of Portugal.It will be our second time to visit the country.

Car brake problem

We will go to Paris soon.My husband checked our car so that there wil be no problem later.Few days ago,he noticed that our car didn't break well.So there must be a brake problem.He thought that maybe there was a problem in rotor or in brake pad.Maybe either of the two were very used and couldn't function well.

He might buy a new one and replace it like the powerstop brake pad kit he saw on the net.I told him that he should make sure that the brake is in very good condition or else we have to cancel our trip.

Valentines day has just passed.I am sure many women got gorgeous roses and some other special gifts from their loveones.Who doesn't like to receive roses right?Every woman loves it.With or without special occasions women love to receive flowers.It is always appreciated.Sending or giving flowers is a nice gesture to show that you care.

For me,roses symbolize love and care.Everytime my husband gives me flowers especially roses,I always feel delighted and loved.

The Quart Towers or the Torres de Quart is one of the places that we have visited when we were in Valencia.I noticed that the two towers were cylinder shape at the front but were flat at the back.It's interesting to see the many holes on the wall.I asked my husband about it and he said maybe those were cause by the bullets during the war.

It is one of the monuments of Valencia that a tourist should see.

Looking for loudspeakers

My husband likes to watch movies or play his favorite songs with the loud sound of speakers.Everytime we watch movies at home,it seems that the sounds were like as if we were at the cinema.Unfortunately our 2 big loudspeakers weren't functioning anymore so we need to replace it.

My husband is searching for speakers for a while now.Though he saw some nice JBL PA Speakers on the net and would like to have one of those,still he couldn't decide yet which one to buy.

I know how much he misses playing his music and movies just like before.I already told him that if he sees the loud speakers that he really like,he has to buy it.
