Bataan Bound

Hubby, my baby, myself together with some workers of my church will be heading North for an evangelistic concert. So in preparation, I did laundry this morning so that I could pack our clothes tomorrow. We need to bring more clothes co'z we won't be until Sunday night for sure.
I am excited and can't wait!

Guitar mixer lost

My valentine date with hubby was composed of window shopping at music shops and snack's bar hoping. I love that day even though I really don't know what hubby had asked or looking for at the music shops. All I knew then though was.. I got hooked with a grand piano amounting to more than a million pesos. Can't believed that the price was more than the car I like.

Hubby is a music oriented person and he played as a lead guitar at our church worship band/team. He really is a good lead guitar player and friends praised him for that. He has loads of guitar gadgets and in fact he just lost a guitar mixer when he lend to a friend. He felt sad when he found out the news but he let it go in his mind because he knows that when something is lost you have to let it go... who knows the Lord might give a brand new esp eclipse in return of the lost one.

I am proud of him co'z he posses a good heart, even though that guitar mixer was really an important thing to him specially now that they have a series of concert he did not get mad or anything he just let God takes control.

Blogging today

It's Sunday and I'm blogging. Well I have to do this before going to church for two reason; first: that we might not able to come home tonight, so this means that I can't get online; second is: I need to update my blog co'z it would take days before I can post here.

Blogging is fun and so is browsing anything from the web. Just recently I bumped into sites that are really interesting and some are inspiring. It's always good to stay for awhile and be inspired by their post. A lot of peeps nowadays are actually putting online their favorites and they make a Personal Creations page and make it published. In this way they can attract people that has same interest with them and create a community. If you are doing business this can also attract clients.

Just recently though I bought a cookies voucher from a deal and when hubby has to get the cookies, he was so surprised that he is not picking it from a store but in the bakers house. The cookies was homemade . She just probably did a personal creation page and some people liked it. This is one reason why facebook is being rained down with soo much personal creation page :)

Booked our one way yet ticket to Cebu for a prayer conference next month. This is for real I know co'z we already got our ticket though it's still one way. I know God will give us a cheaper flight back, we'll to wait and see:).

Fashionable Scrubs

I was watching a show last night about a nanny who denies herself because of deep attachment with her employer and the kids she takes care of. She is still living and still taking care of the baby who became a kid, a lady, now a mom and a politician. The nanny has actually had a stage one cancer and is now in the US for treatment and is being taken care of her employer because she means a lot and is dearly loved by them. The woman whom this nanny give her whole life said...; "my nanny carries half of the sky for me because I don't live an easy life, and so therefore she deserves our love in return."

The nanny, who though is not recognized as a nanny anymore but part of the family is still wearing a nanny scrub even though she doesn't need to do so. Hopefully.. this family will buy her a Marcus scrubs, so that even though she wears scrubs she would still look good co'z these stuff are really fashionable.

The woman I was talking above is seventy something year old already, no husband or family co'z she dedicated her life to these people... the one she is with... up to this moment. :)

I probably am a travel freak person, you know why?... co'z I love to travel... to places. The only thing with me is.. I don't like to travel alone co's I love doing it with friends.

I went to church with hubby and my baby yesterday, and of course going church means seeing lovely friends with little talk and walk with them from here to there, then have some good laughs that only friends can give. God is indeed a friendly God co'z He never fail giving us good friends.

Of course... when friends had chats.. it never end up without some out-of-town plans. So my friend is in the look now for a cheap trip to Cebu-Phils for a four day trip. I am as always excited specially that this will hopefully (God permit) going to happen this March. How I wish as well I have some extra cash to buy a camera for this trip co'z we don't have a camera, wish I could get some coupons at Macys coupons so that I can get discounts. But with all the expenses we are facing for the trips, I don't think we can still afford for another extra expenses:(

I believe that God is good and He is able to give us a good quality camera.

Hubby got mad because his wrist-watch got a tiny scratched a few days back, and he put the blame on his jacket. Watching him got annoyed on something because of a-not-so-good thing it done to his other treasured stuff makes me always laugh at him. He's twenty and seven year old already but when he gets mad he looked like a five year old boy throwing tantrums giving everyone a hard time.lol! If hubby happens to read this I am definitely in big trouble.
How I wish I could give him a citizen watch as a peace offering and/or a gift as well for his birthday or maybe a valentine present. It makes me feel sad thinking that I can't co'z I don't have enough cash for it. It's just a mind boggling thing to me thinking that whenever I got a little cash a need-to-give or a need-buy-thing comes my way. Sometimes, I'd like to say that... why I just can't have the pleasure of having my cash to myself and spend it the way I want it :(.

On Saturday, hubby and I attended my friend's daughter's dedication. It was supposed to be a family trip because they were expecting us to bring our baby, but she got sick so we decided to left her at home with her grandma and aunties. We felt sad though co'z we left her and our friends got sad as well when they saw us coming with no Ziah.

On the other hand, it was as well good riding in the motor bike with just me and hubby just like good old days when there was just him and me. We can go anywhere we want coz it's just the two of us. But now.. we can't do that anymore since our baby is here already. But we are more happier now even though it means less travels and outdoor activities. :)

June is still in five months to go and yet my friend had reminded me of her birthday and now keeps me thinking about it already. I woke this morning thinking where to do it and how could we ever do it. I woke up hubby this morning just to tell him about my friends suggestion. Good thing hubby did not get mad of me for doing so.

My girl is only six month old and yet I have loads of plans about her future. I just hope though that I won't be a demanding mom pressing on her what I want but rather accept and support her of what she want and what she wanted to be as long it won't hurt her. I really would love to see her sing or a lead vocalist of a band but if she would rather be a drummer I'll give her my support and maybe buy her a Tama Drums so that she could practice more and enhance her skills just like her Dad who in his spare time get his electric guitar and make good noise.

See... I'm planning my girl future already. I really do hope that I turn out a good mom! :)

It's a joke in our house that whenever hubby would do favor to one of his siblings he would always say... "aah what a good brother I am :)", and his siblings would smile a sarcastic smile at him. Hubby would throw joke and sends us all laughing. It's always good to have him and his siblings at the house. So I am always looking forward for the days that he doesn't need to go to the office.

Sis-in-law went to Kanawan (a place in Bataan-Philippines where some Aetas live). She went with hubby to see the beautiful mountainous place and to see some people of this tribe. I do hope that she could feel the presence and goodness of the Lord while she was there so that she'll be grateful of what she has and be thankful of the Lord's goodness. :)

motorcycle boots for hubby

Hubby came home last night with a new pair of shoes bought by his sister. It was a late Christmas gift she promised to him last year. But he already had a new one he bought as a Christmas gift to himself too in December and yet he asked me still that if ever I have to give him a gift could I buy him a shoes. Goodness... hubby is unconsciously collecting shoes I think? If ever I have to buy him something I might buy him a sidi cobra boots instead of a new shoes again, and since this one has quality and durability.. it means that it has to wait as well co'z I needed sometime to save for this.

I really do hope that I'll able to get one of this for hubby co'z with the long motorcycle driving he does four days a week going to the office and back I think its a must that he has one of this. May the Lord grant us provisions and blessings for this. :)

... the trouble of having no tools..

I was with my friends new house when she finally moved all her stuff. Having big size couch, bed frame and other stuff made us or my guys friends (who helped moved) to bring inside the above said stuff. In fact they needed to take the door out just to fit in the couch and the big size oven. Her couch is still sitting in her dining area co'z we can't find any cutting tools to cut it in two so that it would fit in the stairs space to bring it to her room upstairs.

It really took as awhile to decide of what to do with the wood bed frame of hers until we come up with the cutting suggestion. There is no other way anyway but to cut it. It may sound sad but it's the only way.

As hubby and I prepare for our final move as well, we now know of what things to prepare and what to do during that time. I'm excited though even it still a long way to wait.

We do have trouble understanding our credit card total outstanding balance sometimes. The total amount don't tally with all the receipts we have from using the card. I'm just thankful co'z my hubby kept receipts and really work hard in tallying each amount from our credit card bill and the amount we spent. Hubby has actually receipts with him still, receipts that five months old already, good thing the ink used in the receipt printer was good and it did not fade co'z there are receipts that you can't hardly read what's written in there.

So to those who read this post and has the same trouble with their credit card bill like us. My tip is don't throw your receipts away instead keep it and try to tally it with your outstanding balance. ")

Felt... I needed a four wheel drive

Spent almost a thousand for just a day trip from my house to Quezon City and back again with a sides trip in Makati yesterday. It's always like this whenever we visits Makati, so if we visit often it means we have to spend more cash on transpo alone. Food is not yet included here.

If I could only find a car worth fifty thousand pesos or less, I might ask friends to lend me money so that we can buy one. It's really a hassle not having one this time.

My sister in-law shared a link with us about a hundred and fifty pesos worth of a second hand car. We wished we had the amount to buy the car because though it is used but it seems look good still. I know... we can never really tell the condition of a car if it is still good or not unless you look on the insides of it or if you are planning to buy one you could ask for a professional help or suggestion.

Having a car is like having a baby... you really need extra cash for its care and maintenance. Having it repaired when it's broken is a no joke thing, probably some one needs to consult in collision estimating before you let the work start or else you'll be surprise on how big your bill is.

It's not that I'm a lazy or something reason why I am playing online games. In fairness to me :).. when your baby is watching baby genius vcd but also roll and crawl, eat and cry, poops and pee yet smile... there's nothing you can do but sit with her as she watched while you open your laptop and play city and castle ville :).

Moving Again

The owner of the house we are recently residing came here this morning to talked to us of what gotten us into leaving their house. It's good thing that she came co'z we were able to explain our side co'z she thought she might have done wrong with us reason we're moving. The talked went well and I thank God for the friendship we've shared.

Afternoon today hubby went to meet the lady owner of the house that we're going to move into. Hubby said she was a nice older lady in contrary to what we've heard that she is. Hubby signed the contract and soon we're moving again. Moving means packing and setting up things again, probably this means of letting go of some stuff and buying a new one. I told hubby to buy a long cable for our internet (the thing that is attached to the telephone to get wifi). I just don't know yet if we need to buy a monster hdmi cables for our other electronic devices.

Moving is both exciting and challenging thing to do. It's exciting co'z you're excited of the new things, it's challenging co'z you have to let go of the things or people you used to. I'm glad that we're able to make great friends here and they would be an addition to our collection of great friends :)
