Great list though, i added a few that I didn't already have to my blog (its not running wordpress but you can do the same with MT). If you're running a blog that doesn't have a xml-rpc notification service built-in to the platform (i.e. Chyrp) then a simple way to notify all the search engines whenever you update is to use a site like PingNinja (http://www.pingninja.com). It uses multiple threads to ping all of the core services with your information faster than most of the older ping services out there (i.e pingomatic, pingler). 100% free to use with no signups. It doesnt even have ads at this time. I'm a little biased because it's my site but i can promise you that i have no intention of adding ads or making it into a pay-service. I'm just using it to experiment with different ways of speeding up the ping process.
