Woo hoo, finally reached JFK airport!!!!

Of cos I don’t know how true it is… It’s all hearsay you see.

CAD has yet to contact me but I believe I will see the light very soon. At least I hope Singapore is a place where Justice prevail.

On the morning on 13 July, I was still doing my last minute packing due to a change of strategy to pack more of my use-and-throw shirt. I reach Tampinese at least 30 minutes early. Yet my other buddies (Xiujuan - still trying to convert her to a blogger, Neo, Ridz) whom I know because of minor are even earlier. We watched “10 promises to my dog” as planned.

Since we’re still early, we turn to a Hongkong cafe for chitchat to pass time. I’m the male lead of the day, how can I sit so far away from the female lead?

It is more of a movie about her mother who left her since young due to cancer growth in her brain. It’s really really so touching and heartwarming that anyone who don’t cry must be having a heart of steel. You can hear people sniffing throughout the show. Of cos there are many ways of crying like the silent one by Ridz and the loud one by Neo. I can’t help Xiujuan much cos I forgot bringing my packet of tissue. I offer my sleeve nonetheless Ridz bought out a very good point that this show is designed to make people cry. lol. No wonder I cry in my heart as I’m such a sentimental person.

After the movie, we headed towards Changi Airport to link up with the others. We call ourselves the “Starbucks” group. Jean, Alice, DK and Nicole all came to send me off. Congratulations to Nicole for getting her own .sg domain.

Xiujuan, Neo and Ridz bought a birthday cake as a surprise for me. Thanks! Thanks Neo for choosing the lovely cake. And special thanks to Xiujuan for acting as a decoy to get the cake for me. Well for Ridz, thanks for entertaining me. Sheesh~ Anyway, I wish for a smooth-sailing year ahead for me and my friend. 2007 and 2008 hasn’t just been going the way I wanted.

I had to check in my luggage as it’s almost 10pm. I had some difficulties (due to increased security check by China and USA) because I hadn’t remember my working address and hence quite some time is needed to extract the details from my lappie.

Even Lek Choon and Qiuling from my secondary school came to send me off. Real touching la~ Sob

It’s real fortunate to be able to celebrate my birthday with a group of close friends and just like the Cinderella, as time struck 12 midnight, I had to go.

Been trying to upload all my photos to facebook and flickr before I start blogging. The view of central park in New York and Mount Avalon in New Hampshire is simply breathtaking.

It’s nice here and I’m surrounded by mountains everywhere. Nice place to meditate. LOL The people here is nice and I got a room for myself. Cool huh?

I will start working later at 2pm. Sure to enjoy my work later.
