Two year back I have posted an article “How To Find VMware Workstation Serial Number In Windows” which is focus on VMware Workstation version 6. Today, I just would like share another tips about “How To Find VMware Workstation 7.x Serial Key In Microsoft Windows 7″.

Please follow step by step as below:
1. Click on Windows Button.
2. Type “regedit” and press Enter.
3. The Windows Registry windows popup, browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\VMware, Inc.\VMware Workstation\License.ws.7.0.e1.xxxxxx\
4. Please look at right hand column and refer to ‘Serial’ Name. The VMware Workstation 7 serial key just on the right hand site under data column.

5. Done, that’s simple.

For the past few day my TMNET Streamyx connection was having problem which open a http://www.google.com website can easily take more than 3 minutes. Damn! Called up TMNET support two day ago and I was surprised when I connect to Internet today and the connection is super super fast.

WP Contact Form III – You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page Error

One of my WordPress blog page show me an error message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” when I was try to click on Contact Form under my WordPress Settings page as example URL: http://www.MYBLOGsite.com/blog/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wp-contact-form-iii/wp-contactform-iii-options.php.

In fact, I have try changed the files and folder permission to “777” and I’m still not able to access it.

If you refer to WP Contact Form III WordPress Plugins page, you should be able to noticed it’s only “Compatible up to: 2.7-bleeding”.

The solution is pretty simple.

Edit the wp-contactform-iii.php, replace

add_action(‘admin_head’, ‘wpcf_add_options_page’);

with

add_action(‘admin_menu’, ‘wpcf_add_options_page’);

and you’re done.

Hope this can solve your WP Contact Form III “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” problem.

WP Cache Error “semget() failed: Permission denied” Solved

For some reason, the Planet MY Blog WordPress was not accessible due to WP Cache Error “semget() failed: Permission denied” for the past few days.

After some investigation, I found the problem and you can easily solve by opening the wp-cache config file “wp-cache-config.php” which you should be found in the /wp-content/ directory.

Edit the wp-cache-config.php file and remove the “//” from the first character of “$use_flock” as per screen show below:

Save and Exit.

Open the WordPress login page and you should be able to login to your WordPress dashboard. Good Luck!
