I was asked by Summer to be the ‘guest blogger’ and to post up my best recent picture. And it is non other than my red carpet look at the recent 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards! I mean, obviously I had to look my very best in my most gorgeous dress for Hollywood’s most star-studded event!

The gorgeous one should always be escorted accompanied by an equally handsome gentleman (just like Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt?), so obviously Stefano had to dress his best for me

Today I’m cruising with Louis Vuitton’s Resort 2012 collection — Lucky me! Oh well, traveling is part of my job

My favourite Resort style has always been nautical and nothing tops this piece from Louis Vuitton. My sailor cap from a local party shop completes the look perfectly

It’s windy as you can see, and the weather is still a little chilly…

Marc Jacob’s Fall/Winter 2011 ad campaign in the human world sure did catch a lot of attention when it was launched. An unexpected new face, british actress Helena Bonham Carter, was the spokesface for the ad, looking somewhat twisted and clowny. Interesting art direction we think!

Can’t say we like it but it definitely did make us go “WOW”. Makes us wonder if we should make our Plasterdoll ad campaigns more interesting

We’ve been modeling for a while now, but for the first time, Georgina and I had the opportunity to participate in a fashion shoot for a Malaysian label, Innai, with two other human models! Yes, you heard it right, human models!

Boy are they tall…. and it was awkward in the beginning when they had to get used to not leaning too close to our body or they will hit our big head And we couldn’t be standing side-by-side with the human models because the contrast of our heights is just way to big.

I wore the Jeweldrops, Georgina wore the Jewelinks, and this tall lass between us is Russian model, Olga

Innai is a Malaysian-based contemporary batik designer label, popular for its smart combination of traditional hand-drawn batik with modern designs and silhouettes. In case you are wondering, Batik is a fabric or pattern that traditionally uses a manual wax-resist dyeing technique, most commonly found in asian countries.

For this Spring/Summer 2011-2012 collection, Innai‘s batik prints are inspired by lace, chandelier, pearl, ribbon, and all things we LOVE, and they are creatively designed into modern kaftans, cut-out shoulder dresses and tops, kimonos and our favourite babydoll dresses. The collection is so sweet and simply whimsical! And of course, this collection was perfectly shot in a popular local cafe +wondermilk. We fell in love with its so-pretty-we-don’t-wanna-eat cupcakes (or they call it cuppacakes!) and its very unique and whimsical decor. Just look at these photos!

Georgina and I were so excited before, during, and after the photoshoot as we couldn’t get over the fact that we were so lucky to be part of this shoot for Innai’s collection. AND the best part is, we had a chance to make an appearance at Who’s Next at Paris, an international fashion tradeshow. If only we could speak French, we would’ve made a few friends there

We went head over heels when we saw the human world‘s ad campaign which features beautiful models (Sun Fei Fei was one of them!) with little dogs and wood-paneled vintage cars.

“Steven Meisel and I met and decided we would do this wonderful story of beautiful vintage cars, little dogs and fresh-faced young women. It’s a very classic scenario, and of course it suggests travel, but I think we gave it a fresh, modern and sometimes a little bit naughty, tongue-in-cheek spin.” says Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Marc Jacobs.

We love it so much we decided to use similar interpretation for our Plasterdoll-Ad. It was quite an effort to put this together but we were lucky we managed to a vintage car and a Japanese Chin!

The see-through skirts, military-inspired jackets, and Peter-pan collared French maid uniforms  sure excite us!
